During non fault condition, a power indicator LED located on the front left side of the unit behind a dark Perspex lens will glow red when in the “off” standby condition and green when in the operating condition.

Typical preferred threshold to decode digital TV is 54dB micro- (Minimum = 40dB micro-Volts, Maximum = 70 dB micro-Volts)
Signal Quality
Minimum Signal-to-Noise Ratio requirements for digital TV is > 26dB
Suggestions to Increase Signal Levels and Improve Signal Quality:
Use an extra gain aerial
Use impedance matched Anti-interference aerial, mounted in a high
position out of doors.
Use an aerial with a high Front /
Use quad shielded cable, without links or breaks between aerial and Set
Top Box.
Avoid routing cable near other electrical devices.
Avoid using amplifiers where possible.
Use a low noise amplifier with moderate gain and only use where
necessary.
Direct antenna to receive a digital signal from alternate transmissions
