Minimum Signal-to-Noise Ratio requirements for digital TV is > 26dB
Suggestions to Increase Signal Levels and Improve Signal Quality:
• Use an extra gain aerial
• Use impedance matched Anti-interference aerial, mounted in a high
position out of doors.
• Use an aerial with a high Front /
• Use quad shielded cable, without links or breaks between aerial and Set
Top Box.
• Avoid routing cable near other electrical devices.
• Avoid using amplifiers where possible.
• Use a low noise amplifier with moderate gain and only use where
necessary.
• Direct antenna to receive a digital signal from alternate transmissions
