STANDARD INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
CONTENTS INCLUDE:

(1) 1/4-20 x 3/8" Bolt
(1) O-Ring
(2) 10-32 x 1/2" Security Screws
(1) Right Angle BNC Connector

1. Carefully remove the unit from the box.
2. Open the housing top by loosening the (2) 10-32 security
screws using the security tool provided (figure 1). Once
the screws have been loosened, the housing will open
slightly. Simply pull down on the top to open completely.

5. Remove one of the three knockouts on the bottom of
the housing (see Figure 2). This will allow electrical and
video cables to pass through.
6. Secure the housing using the previously marked mount ing holes (hardware not included).
7. Install the camera on the camera bracket using the
1/4 x 20 bolt provide. The position of the camera
bracket is adjustable, depending on the camera size
and the viewing angle. You may install the bracket for
either top or bottom mount (see Figure 2). Do not
completely tighten the camera bracket at this time.

3. Position the housing in the desired location. Be sure the
location is structurally sound. Mark the four mounting
holes.

4. Remove the camera bracket by loosening the (2) 1/4
bolts on either side of the bracket. The nuts are held in
place by the bracket, allowing for self-tightening when
they are reinstalled.

8. Make all of the necessary electrical connections to the
camera.
9. Make final adjustments to the camera angle and tighten
the camera bracket.
10. Close the lower potion of the housing. The housing top
will snap to the housing bottom and hold. This will allow
you to tighten the (2) 10-32 security screws without
having to hold the housing in place (figure 4).

5. Electrical Connections - Only a qualified electrician should
make electrical connections.
6. Attachments - Do not use attachments not recommended by the
product manufacturer as they may cause hazards.
7. Cable Runs - All cable runs must be within permissible distance.
8. Mounting - This unit must be properly and securely mounted to
a supporting structure capable of sustaining the weight of the
unit. Accordingly:
a. The installation should be made by a qualified service
person, and should conform to all local codes.
b. Care should be exercised to select suitable hardware to
install the unit, taking into account both the composition of the
mounting surface and the weight of the unit. Be sure to
periodically examine the unit and the supporting structure to
make sure that the integrity of the installation is intact. Failure
to comply with the foregoing could result in the unit separating
from the support structure and falling, with resultant damages
or injury to anyone or anything struck by the falling unit.

UNPACKING
Unpack carefully. Electronic components can be
damaged if improperly handled or dropped. If an item
appears to have been damaged in shipment, replace it
properly in its carton and notify the shipper.
