INSTRUCTIONS 3030 0998 Housing MODEL: PPDW12
DESCRIPTION:
The PPDW12 PressurDome™ pressurized upper dome is constructed from .090" aluminum, ABS plastic with UV additives and stainless steel. The assembled unit measures (h•w•d) 14.9" x 18.09" x 18.25" and weights a total of 22.9 lbs. (without camera). The housing is capable of withstanding a total of 5 psi of nitrogen gas injected through a Schraeder valve located on the 3/8" machined aluminum retaining ring. A pressure relief valve located next to the Schraeder valve provides an escape for pressure exceeding 5 psi. A 18 pin hermetically sealed connector is located in the back of the housing for control and power connections. Servicing the internal components can be accomplished by removing the aluminum/ABS top held in place by stainless steel machine screws. A stainless steel retaining cable is used to capture and hold the aluminum top when removed for servicing. The lower dome is constructed from free blown cast acrylic.
FEATURES:
• Aluminum and plastic construction ensures long-term protection against corrosive atmosphere.
• Sealed, nitrogen pressurized dome eliminates harm to internal components from moisture, dust and insects.
• Dry nitrogen eliminates fogging and build up of condensation within the housing.
• Standard 24 VAC heater, blower and surge protector.
• Unique, heavy duty construction provides improved protection from vandalism.
