CAUTION
This unit must be properly and securely mounted to a supporting structure capable of sustaining the weight of the bracket and camera assembly. Accordingly,
1. The installation should be made by a qualified installer.
2. The installation should be in compliance with local codes.
3. Care should be exercised to select suitable hardware to install the unit, taking into account both the composition of the mounting surface and the weight the hardware will be required to sustain.
Be sure to periodically examine the unit and the supporting structure to make sure that the integrity of the installation is intact.
Failure to comply with the foregoing could result in the unit coming loose from the support structure and falling, with resultant damages or injury to anyone or anything struck by the falling unit.
PRECAUTIONS ON INSTALLATION
• Installation should be in accordance with all applicable local and National Electric codes. Only
approved materials should be utilized.
• This unit must be properly and securely mounted to a supporting structure that is capable of sustaining
the weight of the housing and dome along with the unitized camera.
• Read instruction completely before installation and operation.
DESCRIPTION
• This product has been designed and engineered for the combination camera WV - CS604 and WV-CS404
for ease of installation and service.
• This product is a discreet outdoor housing designed for pendant (POD7C) or wall mount (POD7CW)
applications.

-3. INSTALLATION
3-1 Camera Installations
Snap out the area "X" from the unitized camera for the cables exiting. A long nose plier is recommended. Note: Round off all sharp edges with file to avoid injury.
Connect the power cable and video cable lines. Loop excess cables through the cable clamp.

Attach camera mount bracket of unitized camera to dome bracket, using the standard screw (A).
Camera Mount Bracket
Attach the unitized camera to dome bracket (first, hang the safety wire to the camera bracket). Then attach the safety screw to camera mount bracket, using the standard screw (s).

3-2 Dome Assembly
Use the black handle security tool to attach the dome to the housing.
3-3 Wall Mount Bracket Installation
Note: Mounting hardware not included. Care should be exercised to select suitable hardware to mount the unit.

Assemble the power cable with the provided connector (included in housing packet).

CAUTION: For lightning protection of the camera
and heater/blower, the pin 3 of the connector must be connected to real electrical ground.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE CONNECTOR
• Strip back the cable jacket approximately 0.1 inch
(3 mm) and separate the individual conductors.

CAUTIONS
• Shrinking the cable-entry seal is a onetime procedure. Do not shrink the cable-entry seal until it has been determined that the unit is functioning.

Prepare the individual conductors for clamping. If clamping, use Molex brand tool part number 57027­5000 (for UL-listed-style cable UL1015) or 57026-5000 (for UL-listed-style cable UL1007).
After clamping the contacts, push them into the proper holes in the connector housing until they snap in place.
3-4 Pendant POD7C- Connections
Attach coupling to 1 1/2 NPT thread pipe. Note: Seal thread with a bead of silicone sealer to ensure water-tight fit.

Connect the power cable and video cable lines.
Attach dome assembly to coupling. Secure screws Wire hook can be used as temporary support. (C).

with extreme care.
• If debris and dust accumulates on the dome's inner surface, remove with clean air pressure. Compressed air cans are available for this use at most photography supply stores.
• If the surface doesn't clean properly with compressed air, use a nonabrasive cleaner that is acceptable for use on acrylic. Do not use any other type of cleaner. This may result in scratches to the dome's surface.

4. System Connection
Example 1: Connect the coaxial cable between the
video output connector on the WV-CS404 and the camera input connector on the WV-CU101.
Secure safety screw (D) to housing mounting bracket with plane washer (G) and lock washer (F).

Example 2: Connect the coaxial cable between the
video output connector on the WV-CS404 and the camera input connector on the WV-CU254.
Note: For the connections in the diagram, refer to the operating instructions for each product.
Example 3: Connect the coaxial cable between the video output connector on the WV-BS204, WV-CS404, WV-CS604 and the camera input connector on the WV-CU254.
