a. The installation should be made by a qualified installer.
b. The installation should be in compliance with local
codes.
c. Care should be exercised to select suitable hardware to
install the unit, taking into account both the composition
of the mounting surface and the weight of the unit. Be
sure to periodically examine the unit and the supporting
structure to make sure that the integrity of the installation
is intact. Failure to comply with the foregoing could
result in the unit separating from the support structure
and falling, with resultant damages or injury to anyone
or anything struck by the falling unit.

UNPACKING
Unpack carefully. Electronic components can be
damaged if improperly handled or dropped. If an item
appears to have been damaged in shipment, replace it
properly in its carton and notify the shipper.
DO NOT OPEN COVER.
NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE.
The lightning flash with an arrowhead symbol,
within an equilateral triangle, is intended to
alert the user to the presence of non-insulated
"dangerous voltage" within the product's
enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral
triangle is intended to alert the user to
presence of important operating and
maintenance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the appliance.
ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Videolarm, Incorporated warrants that products sold
hereunder shall be fit for the ordinary purpose for which
said products are intended and shall be free from defects
in material and workmanship for a period of one year from
date of sale to buyer. Note that all electrical components
will be warranted for a period of 1 year from date of sale to
buyer. Videolarm makes no other warranty of any kind with
respect to this product, whether expressed or implied,
including, without limitation, the implied warranty of fitness
for a particular purpose.
In the event of a breach of the above warranty, Videolarm
shall, at its option, repair or replace said product. This is
Videolarm's sole obligation under this warranty. In no event
shall Videolarm be liable for any incidental or consequential
damages, as defined in section 2-715 of the Uniform
Commercial Code by a breach of this warranty.
Videolarm shall repair or replace defective products
upon shipment of products prepaid to Videolarm, Inc.,
2525 Park Central Blvd., Decatur, GA 30035.
Repairs made necessary by reason of accident, misuse
or normal wear shall be charged at Videolarm's standard
rate. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Be sure to save:
1. The shipping carton and packaging material. They are the
safest material in which to make future shipments of the
equipment.
2. These Installation and Operating Instructions.

DESCRIPTION
• This product has been designed and engineered for the combination camera WV - CS600 and WV-CS400
for ease of installation and service.
• This product is a discreet outdoor housing designed for pendant (PODC240) or wall mount (PODCW240)
applications.

-3. INSTALLATION
3-1 Camera Installations
Using a long nose pliers, snap out the area marked "X"
from the unitized camera. This will allow the cables
to exit.
Note: Use a file to round off all sharp edges.
Connect the power cable and video cable lines.
Loop excess cables through the cable clamp.

Attach the camera mount bracket of the unitized
camera to the dome bracket, using the standard
screw (A).

Attach the unitized camera to the dome assembly.
Be sure to hang the safety wire to the assembly first.
Then attach the safety screw to the camera mount
bracket, using the standard screw (s).

Assemble the power cable with the provided
connector.

Note: Seal thread with a bead of silicone sealer to
ensure water-tight fit.

3-5 Care and Maintenance
WARNING: Hazardous voltage within
this unit. Disconnect power to the unit
from the building fixed wiring disconnect device before perfomrming the
following maintenance procedures.
4. System Connection
Example 1: Connect the coaxial cable between the
video output connector on the WV-CS404 and the
camera input connector on the WV-CU101.
Video Monitor
• The lower dome is an optical surface. When
cleaning the inner surface of the dome, handle
with extreme care.
• If debris and dust accumulates on the dome's
inner surface, remove with clean air pressure.
Compressed air cans are available for this use at
most photography supply stores.
• If the surface doesn't clean properly with
compressed air, use a nonabrasive cleaner that is
acceptable for use on acrylic. Do not use any
other type of cleaner. This may result in scratches
to the dome's surface.
CAUTION: When using approved
acrylic cleaner make sure all surfaces
are dry before reapplying power to
the unit.

Example 2: Connect the coaxial cable between the
video output connector on the WV-CS400 and the
camera input connector on the WV-CU254.
Note: For the connections in the diagram, refer to
the operating instructions for each product.
