About nanoe™ and double mineral*
English
* “Double mineral” means mineral ions generated by two zinc
electrodes.
nanoe™ and double mineral effect
Penetrates hair with moisture and tightens cuticle to keep your hair elastic and healthy. Your hair becomes stronger against damage from brushing.
Mineral ion outlet
What is nanoe™, mineral ion?
(nanoe™, mineral ion generation method: high voltage discharge)
nanoe™
nanoe™ is generated by collecting the available moisture in the air, so depending on the usage environment, nanoe™ may not be generated. In environments of low temperature and low humidity, moisture in the air becomes diffi cult to collect. When this occurs, negative ions are generated. nanoe™ is ion wrapped in water that are invisible to the human eye.
Mineral ion
Ions generated by a zinc electrode that cannot be seen by the eye.
Panel effect
Just by grasping the panel along with the handle, more nanoe™ is attracted to your hair.

►Note
Results of nanoe™, mineral ions and hot/cold alternating mode (See page 13.) on hair vary according to the individual, and the following people may fi nd it hard to experience an effect.
- People with curly hair
- People with strong wavy hair
- People with smooth hair that can be easily set
- People who have had a straightening perm within 3 to 4 months
- People with short hair

Troubleshooting
English
Sparks can be seen inside the appliance when using [HOT]. (These sparks are caused by the thermostat switch which is the protective device, and are not dangerous.)
Hot air repeatedly turns into cold air.
The hot air is abnormally hot.
The power plug is abnormally hot.
Sparks are generated inside the nanoe™ outlet.
A noise (crackling) is heard inside the nanoe™ outlet.
There is a peculiar smell.
Water droplets fl y out from the nanoe™ outlet.
The [HOT] lamp is blinking quickly (twice per second).
If the problems still cannot be solved, contact the store where you purchased the unit or a service center authorised by Panasonic for repair.
Problem Possible cause Action
Dust is attached to the air inlet or air outlet.
Hair or something is blocking the air inlet.
The power plug is not fi rmly inserted into the outlet.
The needle-shaped part located at the back of the nanoe™ outlet is dirty.
This is because nanoe™ and mineral ion produce a peculiar smell; there is no infl uence to your body.
Water droplets occasionally fl y out from when generating nanoe™; this is not an abnormality.
Device abnormality.
Remove the attached dust. (See page 16 - 17.)
Do not block the air inlet.
Use an outlet in which the power plug fi ts snugly.
Perform maintenance on the nanoe™ outlet. (See page 17.)
