Dépannage

•Si le temps de charge et le temps de fonctionnement sont réduits, la batterie est peut-être déchargée. (Nombre de charges de la batterie installée : Environ 300)

The rechargeable battery (installed in the unit) is not charged initially. Charge the battery before using the unit.

Connect this unit to a computer ( ) using the USB charging cord (supplied) ( ).

• The power/pairing LED ( ) lights in red when charging is in progress. When charging is completed, the power/pairing LED will go out.

•Charging will take approximately 4 hours from empty state to fully charged.

•Check the direction of the terminals and plug in/out straight holding onto the plug. (It may result in malfunction by the deforming of the terminal if it is plugged in obliquely or in wrong direction.)

•The power cannot be turned on while charging.

•Do not use any other USB charging cords except the supplied one.

•Make sure the computer is turned on and is not on standby or sleep mode.

•When the battery starts running low during use of the unit, the blinking power/pairing LED will turn from blue to red. A beep will

sound every 1 minute.* When the battery runs out, the power will turn off.

•The unit starts to search for the Bluetooth® device for connection, and the power/pairing LED will blink in blue and red alternately.

2Turn on the power of the Bluetooth® device, and enable the Bluetooth® function.

3 Select “EAH-F70N” ( ) from the Bluetooth® device’s menu.

•If prompted for a passkey, input the passkey “0000 (four zeros)” of this unit.

or other locations exposed to powerful winds. In that case, change the calling location or switch the calling device to the Bluetooth® enabled phone to continue the call. (Press [Multiple functions button] on the unit twice quickly to switch.)

•You can have the Bluetooth® enabled phone make phone calls by using the microphone of the unit and an app of the Bluetooth®

enabled phone.

w Using noise cancelling

Setting noise cancelling to ON changes the volume and sound quality. The sound quality is set so that it is optimised for each level.

Press the [NC] button to adjust the volume of the playback device. (F A )

•The unit switches between three levels, 3, 2, and 1, each time you press the [NC] button.

•When noise cancelling is set to ON, the noise cancelling LED lights in green.

•While using the noise cancelling function, a very small amount of noise which is generated from the circuit that reduces noise may be heard, but this is normal and not indicative of any trouble. (This very-low-level noise may be heard in quiet places or in the blank parts between tracks.)

To switch between ON and OFF:

Press and hold [NC] button for at least 2 seconds.

w Using the ambient sound enhancer

Place your hand over the ambient sound enhancer sensor panel (R side) so that its entire surface is covered. ( )

•Noise cancelling will turn OFF temporarily and the volume of the playback sound will be lowered.

To switch this function between enabled and disabled:

Slide and hold the [Multiple functions button] ( ) towards “+” and at the same time press and hold [NC] for at least

5 seconds.

To set this function to always-on mode:

Press [NC] button twice quickly.

•To deactivate always-on mode, press the [NC] button or place your hand over the ambient sound enhancer sensor panel (R side) so that its entire surface is covered.

•The ambient sound enhancer works only while the unit is turned on.

w Activating a voice functions []

You can activate Siri or other voice functions with a button on the unit.

Press and hold [Multiple functions button] ( ) of this unit for approx. 3 seconds.

w Making a multi-point connection [ ]

1Register the unit to both the first Bluetooth® device and the second Bluetooth® device.

2Connect the first Bluetooth® device, which will be used for music playback, and the unit.

3Connect the second Bluetooth® device, which will be used for calls, and the unit.

•For more details, including more specific setup instructions, refer to the operating instructions for the Bluetooth® devices.

•Only one Bluetooth® device can be connected for music playback.

•When playing back music on an iOS device, be sure to connect the unit and that Bluetooth® device first.

•When connecting a device, such as one running an AndroidTM OS,

exclusively for calls, disable the “A2DP” setting. (Depending on the Bluetooth® device, this setting may not be available.)

w Using the detachable cord (supplied)

While the unit is turned off, it can be used as normal headphones by connecting the detachable cord (supplied). ( )

•If you connect the detachable cord (supplied) when connected via Bluetooth®, the Bluetooth® connection will be lost.

•The [Multiple functions button] does not work even while the unit is turned on.

•Noise may occur due to dirt on the plug. Clean the plug with a soft dry cloth if this occurs.

•Do not use any other detachable cords except the supplied one.

To connect to an airplane audio system:

1	Connect the unit and the detachable cord (supplied). (	)
2	Connect the input plug ( ) of the detachable cord (supplied) to
	the airplane adaptor (supplied) ( ).
3	Connect the airplane adaptor to the in-airplane audio system. ( )
w Restoring to the factory settings
Charge the battery before restoring the unit.
1	While the unit is turned off, press and hold [ /I (	)] for at
	least 5 seconds until the power/pairing LED starts blinking
	alternately in blue and red.

2While the power/pairing LED is blinking alternately in blue and red, slide and hold the [Multiple functions button]

towards “+” and at the same time press and hold [ /I ( )] for at least 5 seconds.

•The default settings will be restored after the power/pairing LED (blue) blinks fast and the unit turns off.

•When pairing a device again, delete the registering information (Device: “EAH-F70N”) from the Bluetooth® device’s menu, and register this unit with the Bluetooth® device again. (F D )

F To remove the battery when disposing of

this unit

The following instructions are not intended for repairing purposes but for the disposal of this unit. This unit is not restorable once disassembled.

•When disposing of this unit, take out the battery installed in this unit and recycle it.

•Disassemble after the battery runs out.

•Keep disassembled parts out of reach of children.

Regarding the handling of used batteries

•Insulate the terminals with adhesive tape or similar material.

•Do not disassemble.

•Do not heat or expose to flame.

•Do not leave the battery(ies) in a car exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time with doors and windows closed.

•Battery mishandling can cause electrolyte leakage which can damage items the leaked fluid comes into contact with. If electrolyte leaks from the battery, consult your dealer. Wash thoroughly with water if electrolyte comes in contact with any part of your body.

•When disposing of the batteries, please contact your local authorities or dealer and ask for the correct method of disposal.

Before requesting service, make the following checks. If you are in doubt about some of the check points, or if the remedies indicated do not solve the problem, consult your dealer for instructions.

No sound.

• Make sure that the unit and the Bluetooth® device are connected correctly. (F Rear page, D )

•Check if music is playing on the Bluetooth® device.

•Make sure that the unit is turned on and the volume is not set too low.

•Pair and connect the Bluetooth® device and the unit again. (F Rear page, D )

•Check if the Bluetooth® compatible device supports “A2DP” profile. For

details on profiles, see “Listening to music” in “Operating Instructions (PDF format)”. Also refer to the operating manual for the Bluetooth® compatible device.

Cannot adjust the volume.

•Is the ambient sound enhancer operating? Turn off the ambient sound enhancer. (FRear page, E )

Low volume.

• Is the ambient sound enhancer operating? Turn off the ambient sound enhancer. (FRear page, E )

• Increase the volume of the unit. (F Rear page, E )

• Increase the volume on the Bluetooth® device.

Sound from the device is cut off. / Too much noise. / Sound quality is bad.

• Sound may be disrupted if signals are blocked. Do not fully cover this unit with the palm of your hand, etc.

• The device may be out of the 10 m (33 ft.) communication range. Move the device closer to this unit.

• Remove any obstacle between this unit and the device.

• Switch off any wireless LAN device when not in use.

• A communication problem may arise if the battery is not fully charged. Charge the unit. (FRear page, B )

• If the unit and the Bluetooth® device are connected via LDAC, the problem may be solved by changing the sound quality mode on the Bluetooth® device to give priority to connection. For details, refer to the operating instructions for the Bluetooth® device.

The device cannot be connected.

•Delete the pairing information for this unit from the Bluetooth® device, then pair them again. (F Rear page, D )

You cannot hear the other person.

•Make sure that the unit and the Bluetooth® enabled phone are turned on.

•Check if the unit and the Bluetooth® enabled phone are connected.

•Check the audio settings of the Bluetooth® enabled phone. Switch the calling device to the unit if it is set to the Bluetooth® enabled phone.

•If the volume of the other person’s voice is too low, increase the volume of both the unit and the Bluetooth® enabled phone.

Cannot make a phone call.

•Check if the Bluetooth® compatible device supports “HSP” or “HFP” profile. For details on profiles, see “Listening to music” and “Making a

phone call” in “Operating Instructions (PDF format)”. Also refer to the operating manual for the Bluetooth® enabled phone.

The unit does not respond.

•This unit can be reset when all operations are rejected. To reset the unit, connect the unit to a computer using the USB charging cord. (The pairing device information will not be deleted.)

Cannot charge the unit. / The power/pairing LED blinks during charging.

•Is the USB port you are currently using working properly? If your computer has other USB ports, unplug the connector from its current port and plug it into one of the other ports.

•If the measures mentioned above are not applicable, unplug the USB charging cord and plug it in again.

•If the charge time and operating time become shortened, the battery may have run down. (Number of charging times of the installed battery: Approximately 300)

The power/pairing LED does not light during charging. / Charging takes longer.

•Is the USB charging cord connected firmly to the USB terminal of the computer? (F Rear page, B )

•Make sure to charge in a room temperature between 10 QC and 35 QC (50 QF and 95 QF).

The power does not turn on.

•Is the unit being charged? The power cannot be turned ON during charging. (FRear page, B )

B Chargement

La batterie rechargeable (installée dans l’appareil) n’est pas chargée au départ. Chargez la batterie avant d’utiliser l’appareil.

Raccordez cet appareil à un ordinateur ( ) en utilisant le

câble de recharge USB (fourni) (	).
• Le voyant d’alimentation/appairage (	) est rouge lorsque la

charge est en cours. Une fois la charge terminée, le voyant d’alimentation/appairage s’éteint.

•Le chargement complet prend environ 4 heures une batterie complètement déchargée.

•Contrôlez le sens des bornes et insérez-les ou retirez-les en les gardant droites sur la fiche. (Tout branchement à l’oblique ou dans le mauvais sens peut entraîner un dysfonctionnement suite à une déformation de la borne.)

•L’appareil ne peut pas être mis sous tension pendant la charge.

•N’utilisez aucun autre câble de recharge USB à l’exception de celui fourni.

•Assurez-vous que l’ordinateur est allumé et n’est pas en mode veille ou veille prolongée.

•Si la batterie commence à s’épuiser durant l’usage de l’appareil, le clignotement bleu du voyant d’alimentation/appairage devient rouge. Un signal sonore retentit chaque minute.* Lorsque la

batterie est épuisée, l’appareil se met hors tension.

w Utilisation de l’annulation de bruit

Activer l’annulation de bruit permet de changer le volume et la qualité du son. La qualité du son est réglée pour être optimale à chaque niveau.

Appuyez sur la touche [NC] pour régler le volume du dispositif de lecture. (F A )

•L’appareil passe sur l’un des trois niveaux, 3, 2 et 1, chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la touche [NC].

•Lorsque l’annulation de bruit est activée, le voyant de l’annulation de bruit est vert.

•Durant l’utilisation de la fonction d’annulation de bruit, une toute petite quantité de bruit générée par le circuit réduisant le bruit sera audible, mais ceci est normal et n’indique aucun problème. (Ce très faible niveau de bruit sera audible dans les endroits silencieux ou lors des blancs entre les pistes.)

Pour permuter entre MARCHE et ARRÊT:

Appuyez sur la touche [NC] pendant au moins 2 secondes.

w Utilisation de l’amplificateur de son ambiant

Placez votre main au-dessus du capteur de l’amplificateur de son ambiant (côté R) de façon à ce que toute la surface soit couverte. ( )

•L’annulation de bruit se désactive temporairement et le volume du son de lecture faiblit.

Pour basculer cette fonction entre activée et désactivée:

Faites glisser et maintenez la [Touche multifonctions] ( ) vers “+” et en même temps appuyez sur [NC] pendant au moins

5 secondes.

Pour régler cette fonction sur le mode toujours active:

Appuyez deux fois sur la touche [NC] rapidement.

•Pour désactiver le mode toujours active, appuyez sur la touche [NC] ou placez votre main au-dessus du capteur de l’amplificateur de son ambiant (côté R) de façon à ce que toute la surface soit couverte.

•L’amplificateur de son ambiant fonctionne uniquement lorsque l’appareil est en marche.

w Activation des fonctions vocales [ ]

Vous pouvez activer Siri ou d’autres fonctions vocales à l’aide d’une touche sur l’appareil.

•Si vous branchez le câble amovible (fourni) lorsqu’il est connecté par Bluetooth®, la connexion Bluetooth® sera perdue.

•La [Touche multifonctions] ne fonctionne pas même lorsque l’appareil est en marche.

•Des parasites sonores peuvent être audibles à cause de la saleté présente sur la fiche. Nettoyez la fiche à l’aide d’un chiffon doux et sec si cela se produit.

•N’utilisez aucun autre câble amovible que celui fourni.

F Pour retirer la batterie lors de la mise au

rebut de cet appareil

Les instructions suivantes ne sont pas destinées à des fins de réparation mais pour la mise au rebut de cet appareil. Cet appareil n’est pas récupérable une fois désassemblé.

•Lors de la mise au rebut de cet appareil, retirez la batterie installée dans ce dernier et recyclez-la.

•Démontez une fois la batterie épuisée.

•Conservez les pièces démontées hors de portée des enfants.

Collecte des batteries usagées

•Isolez les bornes à l’aide d’un ruban adhésif ou d’un matériau similaire.

•Ne les démontez pas.

w Batteries

•Ne les chauffez pas et ne les exposez pas à une flamme.

•Ne laissez pas la (les) batterie(s) dans un véhicule exposé directement aux rayons du soleil pendant un long moment avec les vitres et portières fermées.

•Une mauvaise manipulation de la batterie peut provoquer une fuite d’électrolyte qui peut endommager les éléments avec lesquels le fluide ayant fui entre en contact. Si de l’électrolyte fuit de la batterie, consultez votre revendeur. Lavez abondamment à l’eau si de l’électrolyte entre en contact avec une partie de votre corps.

•Pour jeter les batteries usagées, veuillez contacter l’administration locale ou votre revendeur afin de connaître la procédure de mise au rebut à suivre.

B Wird aufgeladen

Der im Gerät installierte wiederaufladbare Akku ist bei der Auslieferung nicht geladen. Laden Sie den Akku vor dem Gebrauch des Gerätes auf.

Um dieses Gerät an einen Computer ( ) anzuschließen, verwenden Sie das mitgelieferte USB-Ladekabel ( ).

• Während des Ladens leuchtet die Power/Kopplungs-LED ( ) rot. Nach Abschluss des Ladevorgangs erlischt die Power/Kopplungs-LED.

•Das vollständige Aufladen eines leeren Akkus dauert ca. 4 Stunden.

•Kontrollieren Sie die Ausrichtung der Anschlusskontakte und halten Sie beim Anschließen/Abziehen den Stecker gerade. (Wenn der Stecker schief oder falsch herum eingesteckt wird, kann es zu einer Beschädigung der Buchse und zu Funktionsstörungen kommen.)

•Während des Ladevorgangs kann das Gerät nicht eingeschaltet werden.

•Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte USB-Ladekabel.

•Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Computer eingeschaltet ist und sich nicht im Standbyoder Sleep-Modus befindet.

•Wenn während der Verwendung des Geräts der Akku leer wird, wechselt die Farbe der blinkenden Power/Kopplungs-LED von blau zu rot. Im Abstand von 1 Minute ertönt ein Signalton.* Wenn

der Akku leer ist, wird das Gerät ausgeschaltet.

Durch Einschalten der Geräuschunterdrückung werden die Lautstärke und die Klangqualität geändert. Die Klangqualität wird für die jeweilige Stufe optimiert.

•Bei Verwendung der Geräuschunterdrückungsfunktion kann ein sehr geringfügiges Rauschen zu hören sein, das von der Geräuschunterdrückungsschaltung erzeugt wird. Dies ist normal und kein Hinweis auf eine Störung. (Dieses sehr leise Rauschen kann an stillen Orten oder in den Pausen zwischen Musikstücken zu hören sein.)

w Verwendung des abnehmbaren Kabels (im Lieferumfang)

Wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist, kann es als normaler Kopfhörer verwendet werden, indem das abnehmbare Kabel (im Lieferumfang) angeschlossen wird. ( )

•Wenn Sie das abnehmbare Kabel (im Lieferumfang) anschließen, während eine Bluetooth®-Verbindung besteht, wird die Bluetooth®-Verbindung abgebrochen.

•Die [Multifunktionstaste] funktioniert auch dann nicht, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.

•Verschmutzungen am Stecker können Störgeräusche verursachen. Reinigen Sie in diesem Fall den Stecker mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch.

•Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte abnehmbare Kabel.

Verbindung mit einem Flugzeug-Audiosystem:

1	Schließen Sie das abnehmbare Kabel (im Lieferumfang) an das
	Gerät an. ( )
2	Verbinden Sie den Eingangsstecker ( ) des abnehmbaren

w Rücksetzen auf die Werkseinstellungen

Laden Sie den Akku auf, bevor Sie das Gerät zurücksetzen.

1 Halten Sie bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät die Taste [ /I ( )] mindestens 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt, bis die Power/ Kopplungs-LED abwechselnd in blau und rot blinkt.

2 Wenn die Power/Kopplungs-LED abwechselnd in blau und rot blinkt, schieben Sie die [Multifunktionstaste] in Richtung “+” und halten Sie sie in dieser Position. Halten Sie gleichzeitig die Taste [ /I ( )] mindestens 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt.

•Nachdem die Power/Kopplungs-LED (blau) schnell blinkt und das Gerät sich ausschaltet, werden die Standardeinstellungen wiederhergestellt.

•Soll ein Gerät neu gekoppelt werden, löschen Sie die

Registrierungsinformation (Gerät: “EAH-F70N”) im Menü des Bluetooth®-Geräts, und koppeln Sie dieses Gerät mit dem Bluetooth®-Gerät erneut. (F D )

F Entfernen des Akkus zur Entsorgung dieses

Geräts

Die folgenden Anweisungen sind nicht für Reparaturzwecke vorgesehen, sondern für die Entsorgung dieses Geräts. Dieses Gerät ist nicht wiederherstellbar, sobald es einmal zerlegt wurde.

•Entnehmen Sie für die Entsorgung dieses Geräts den in diesem Gerät installierten Akku und recyclen Sie ihn.

•Zerlegen Sie das Gerät, nachdem der Akku das Ende seiner Lebensdauer erreicht hat.

•Bewahren Sie die zerlegten Teile außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

Handhabung von verbrauchten Akkus

•Isolieren Sie die Klemmen mit Klebeband oder ähnlichem Material.

•Zerlegen Sie den Akku nicht.

w Batterien

•Setzen Sie die Batterien niemals großer Hitze oder offenem Feuer aus.

•Lassen Sie die Batterien niemals über längere Zeit in einem Auto mit geschlossenen Türen und Fenstern zurück, das direkter Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt ist.

•Bei falscher Handhabung von Batterien kann Elektrolyt austreten, und Gegenstände, die mit der ausgetretenen Flüssigkeit in Berührung kommen, können beschädigt werden. Wenn Elektrolyt aus der Batterie austritt, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler. Wenn Elektrolyt mit Körperteilen in Berührung kommt, diese gründlich mit Wasser abspülen.

•Wenden Sie sich zur Entsorgung der Akkus an die lokalen Behörden oder Ihren Händler und erfragen Sie die richtige Vorgehensweise zur Entsorgung.

2Entfernen Sie die 4 Schrauben.

3 Nehmen Sie den Teil aus Schritt 2 ab.

4Entnehmen Sie den Akku und schneiden Sie die Drähte einzeln mit einer Schere ab.
