The DMC-3D1 is an innovative compact digital camera incorporating a 2-lens optical
system in a small body. Each of the left and right optical systems uses a newly
developed folded optics lens and High Sensitivity MOS sensor that combine with
a high-speed Venus Engine to produce sharp, high-quality 2D and 3D images for
both photos and videos. The unique dual lens system is also capable of shooting
simultaneous Zoom & Wide and 2D Photo & Full HD Videos.
The DMC-3D1 clearly introduces an entirely new dimension in shooting styles.
High-precision Synchronizing Technology
The Venus Engine applies high-precision synchronization to left and right image stabilization,
auto focus, and white balance functions to produce high-quality 3D images.
Sonic Speed AF
The DMC-3D1 has fast and accurate AF performance. You can quickly get moving subjects in
focus, such as when you’re shooting sports scenes.

The dual lens system simultaneously records images for both the left and
right eyes. This lets you shoot 3D photos and 1,920 x 1,080 side-by-side 3D
videos both in high quality. MEGA O.I.S. compensates left and right images
with powerful stabilization, so 2D and even 3D images are lifelike and clear.
3D photos and videos can be played back on
Panasonic VIERA 3D TV and Blu-ray Disc™
Player/Recorder that support the AVCHD
format. You can insert the SD Memory Card
containing the 3D contents to the equipment,
or alternatively, an optional HDMI cable can
be used to output the image content directly
to the TV for VIERA Link operation.
Easy Playback of 3D Photos and Videos
The dual lens system lets you capture
both zoom and wide shots simultaneously
in a single shooting opportunity. You can
catch a close-up of your subject together
with a shot showing the surrounding area.
Or the details of a building together with
its overall appearance. This gives you a
