CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Your AMX 2 Magneticall y Shielded Stereo S peaker S ystem is an exam ple of superior design and craftsmans hi p. The following suggestions will help you care for the system so you can enjoy it for years.
• Handle the speakers gently a nd carefully. Dropping them can damage them and cause them to work improperly.
• Keep the speakers dry. If they get wet, wipe them dry immediately. Liquids contain minerals that can corrode electronic circuits.
• Wipe the speakers occasionally with a damp cloth to keep them looking new. Do not use harsh ch emica ls, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the speakers.
• Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type. Always remove old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that destroy electronic circuits.
Modifying or tampering with the speaker system’s internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate the warranty. If the speakers are not performing as they should, take them to your local RadioShack store for assistance.
