USER’S MANUAL

Thank you for purchasing Panacom’s Voice Recorder VR-3001.
Please read the manual carefully before operating.

CAUTION

• Do not place product in moisture or hot environment.

• Avoid splashing water or impact on product.

• Overload operation will cause damage and shorten the life of the product.

• Normally clean the product using a soft dry cloth. Always before
cleaning, disconnect all connection cables.

Functions
1 Power ON/OFF(If long time don’t use, turn the switch in the “OFF” position
2 PLAY key: turn on, turn off, play, pause, ok
3 REC key: A key can both recordings and can keep the recording
4 Key: Next song, Next item, Volume increase (Long press for fast forward)
5 > Key: Previous Song, Volume decrease (Long press for retreat quickly)
6 “V” Key: Short press to enter the volume mode, press and hold to switch

between music le and audio le
7 “M” key: function mode, A-B reread, (long press “M” key is for deleting
les mode under the pause state)

8 USB: Charging port, the computer connect port

Display Shows

Power ON/OFF

Turn power switch to “ON”, then press “PLAY” key, the player will automati­cally boot
Press “ PLAY” key for 3+ seconds until the player is shutdown (If long time
don’t use, turn the switch in the “OFF” position

Voice Recording

In any condition, press ”REC” to record, Press “Play” to stop/continue re­cording. Under recording, press “REC” to save the le, press “Play” to play
the le. (During recording, press “Play” to stop recording, the light is blinking)

Delete Files

Delete individual le: under the pause or stop state, nd out les you want
to delete, long press the “M” key to enter the delete mode, the LCD screen

displays “DELETE “ and “ONE” sign and ashing, short press up / down
keys to select YES, and then press the “Play” key to delete the current track
(press the “M” key to go back).

Delete all files: under the pause or stop state, long press the “M” key to
enter the delete mode, the LCD screen displays “DELETE” and “ONE” signs
and ashing, then a short press for the “M” key, LCD screen will display and
ash “ALL” and ashing, then press up / down keys to select YES, and then
press the “Play” key to conrm to delete all les under directory ( press the
“M” key to go back, can not recover it after deleting, please pay attention to
the backup ). The sign of deleting les is like the sign of .More deleting les,
more deleting time, please do not force to turn off the power switch during
deleting les, otherwise it will cause a corrupted le.

Play/Pause

In recording/music mode, press “Play” to start playback, press “Play” to
pause/play

Change songs

In playing mode, press “<” key or “>” key to change songs

Music files and audio files switching

In playing/stop mode, press and hold “V” key for music les and audio les
switching. In music mode, press and hold “V” will automatically switch to the
audio le, press “Play” button to pause/play audio les. In playing audio le
mode, press and hold “V” will automatically switch to the music les, press “
Play” button to pause/play music les.(No audio les will not switch)

Volume Control

In playing music les/audio les mode, press ”V” key (the “bar” on the LCD
screen is ashing), then press “>” key to increase volume, press “<” key to
decrease volume. Once nished the adjusting, then press “V” key ( the “bar”

on the LCD screen will stop ashing) to exit the volume adjustment mode.

A-B repeat

In the playing mode, press “M” button to set the start repeat point A, and
press “M” again to set the end repeat point B, LCD will display AB to achieve
A-B repeat function between tow point, then press “M” key to exit A-B re­peat mode.

Connect to PC

Connect the player to PC via USB cable, please removing the disk under
normal method to prevent data missing

Function Settings

1. LED record lamp setup

In states of music / audio les stop or pause, long press the “M” key and
then short press the “M” key to select it, the screen displays “ON/LED”, then
short press the “Last” or “Next” key to select it. The “OFF-LED” is closed
recording indicator light, “ON-LED” is open recording indicator light; short
press the “Play” key to conrm it.

2. Voice control setup

In states of music / audio les stop or pause, long press the “M” key and
then short press “M” key to select it, the screen displays “ON/VOR” , then
short press the “Last” or “Next” key to select it, the “OFF-VOR” is closed
voice control, “ON-VOR” is for opening voice control, short press the “Play”
key to conrm it.

3. Selecting recording types

In states of music / audio les stop or pause, short press the “M” key to
select HP(HQ)or LP(LQ) recording types. (HP is high-quality recording mode,
