Important Safety Instructions

7) Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarised or grounding-type plug. A polarised plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer. or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for a long periods of time.
14) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

Introduction
For safety, please use the original box and packing materials, and keep the mode of packing same as the original.
When you repackage this product. Do not place this product near the volatile liquid such as insecticide.
It is normal for the cover and rear panel become warm after the player has been operating for a long time.
Do not move this product during playback. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the pick-up and the disc.
Press OPEN/CLOSE on the front panel or remote to open or close the disc tray. While it is opening or closing, do not push, or touch the tray.

Illuminates when a DVD disc is loaded. Illuminates when audio is DTS out. Illuminates VCD when a VCD disc is loaded, SVCD when Super-VCD disc is loaded and CD when a CD disc is loaded. Illuminates when audio is DOLBY out. Illuminates when the disc has multi-angle function. Illuminates during menu play (VCD/SVCD). Illuminate when an MP3 disc is loaded. Illuminates the total playing time on a disc. (CD/VCD/SVCD). When playing DVD, indication will show played time if it is in time mode. When playing DVD, indication will title/chapter if it is in title/chapter mode. (Refer to setup menu [other] item) Indicate the track number (CD/VCD/SVCD). Illuminates during still picture. Illuminates during repeat playback. Repeat of chapter (DVD) / track (CD, VCD/SVCD).

Notes:
Set player's Analog Out mode to "2 Channel" in the audio setup page. (See page 17) There are three ways of connecting the player's AV output to the TV set.
1. S-video cable and left/right audio cable. (Set the [Video Type] to [CVBS S-Video])
2. Composite video cable and left/right audio cable.
3. Component video cable and left/right audio cable. (Set the [Video Type] to [CVBS YCbCr])
