NOTE
In quiet operations or stopping the operation, the following phenomena may occasionally occur,
but this is normal for operation.
(1) Slight flowing noise of refrigerant in the refrigerating cycle
(2) Slight rubbing noise from fan casing which is cooled and then gradually warmed as operation
stops.

OPERATION
AIR DEFLECTORS
Vertical Air Deflectors
When the auto louder switch is turned to "ON" position, the vertical air deflectors automatically
move right and left, and sweep the jet of air alternately.
The vertical air deflectors may be stopped at any position when the auto louder switch is
turned "OFF"
Horizontal Air Deflectors
The horizontal air deflectors can be adjusted.
CAUTION
The shape and position of the switches and indicators may vary from different, but
their function are similar.

THERMOSTAT
The temperature gets lower from 1 to 5 is for cooling
function.
CAUTION
The compressor operates continuously by setting the temperature dial
to nearly "TEST". Do not set this dial to the setting as it is for
testing purpose.
When the compressor stops by turning the temperature dial in cooling
operation, wait 3 minutes before turning it back to restart the
compressor. Immediate returning the dial may cause overload to the
machine, resulting in a blown fuse.
FUNCTION SELECTION
The function selection knob controls fan speed or cooling speed.
"HIGH FAN" high speed wind flows out (compressor stopped)
"MID FAN" mid speed wind flows out (compressor stopped). (only 18000Btu/h)
"LOW FAN" low speed wind flows out (compressor stopped).
"HIGH COOL" the fastest cooling is achieved.
"MID COOL" the faster cooling is achieved. (only 18000Btu/h)
"LOW COOL" slow cooling is achieved.
"OFF" the conditioner stop.
CAUTION
Slowly turn the knob from "LOW COOL" to "HIGH COOL" do not
turn it too often.
HOW TO EXHAUST ROOM AIR
Turn the lever "CLOSE" to exhaust a portion of the room air.
Turn the lever "OPEN" to close vent.
CAUTION
Usually this lever is kept at "CLOSE" position (left).
Turn the lever "CLOSE" to close ventilation in case of typhoon.
