2.0 Product Disassembly Process
2.1 Listed below are the basic steps that should typically be followed to remove components an d materials requiring selective treatment:
1 Remove ‘switch button’ & all external plastics from ‘main housing’ of
headset (use long nose pliers) Dispose of ‘plastics’ in accordance with local recycling laws
2 Remove ‘speaker assembly’ from ‘main housing’ of headset &
disassemble ‘speaker’ from plastic housing (use long nose pliers) Dispose of ‘speaker’ & ‘plastics’ in accordance with lo cal recycling
laws
3 Remove ‘PCB & Battery assembly’ from ‘main housing’ of headset
(use long nose pliers) Dispose of ‘main housing’ plastics in accordance with local recycling
laws
4 Cut ‘battery’ leads and detach from ‘PCB’ (use cutter pliers)
Dispose of ‘battery’ & ‘PCB’ in accordance with local recycling laws
