Questo manuale è indirizzato ai proprietari della stufa, agli installatori, operatori e manutentori delle stufe serie OLIVIA, BETTY, ANTONIA, STEFANIA.

In caso di dubbi sul contenuto e per ogni chiarimento contattare il costruttore o il servizio di assistenza tecnica autorizzato citando il numero del paragrafo dell’argomento in discussione.

IL SISTEMA A DOPPIA COMBUSTIONE

La  amma prodotta dalla legna che brucia correttamente in una

stufa emette la stessa quantità di anidride carbonica (CO2) che si sarebbe liberata in seguito alla naturale decomposizione del legno stesso.

La quantità di CO2 prodotta dalla combustione o decomposizione di una pianta corrisponde alla quantità di CO2 che la pianta stessa è in grado di prelevare dall’ambiente e trasformare in ossigeno per l’aria e carbonio per la pianta, nel corso del suo ciclo di vita.

L’uso di combustibili fossili non rinnovabili (carbone, gasolio, gas), a differenza di quanto avviene con la legna, libera nell’aria enormi quantità di CO2 accumulate nel corso di milioni di anni, aumentando la formazione dell’effetto serra. L’uso della legna come combustibile, quindi, è in perfetto equilibrio con l’ambiente in quanto viene utilizzato un combustibile rinnovabile ed in armonia con il ciclo ecologico della natura.

Il principio della combustione pulita risponde in pieno a questi obiettivi e la Palazzetti vi ha fatto riferimento nella progettazione dei propri prodotti.

Cosa intendiamo per combustione pulita e come avviene? Il controllo e la regolazione di aria primaria e l’immissione dell’aria secondaria provoca una seconda combustione, o post-

combustione caratterizzata da una seconda  amma più viva e più limpida che si sviluppa al di sopra della  amma principale. Essa,

grazie all’immissione di nuovo ossigeno, brucia i gas incombusti migliorando sensibilmente il rendimento termico e riducendo al minimo le emissioni nocive di CO (monossido di carbonio) dovute alla combustione incompleta. È questa una caratteristica esclusiva delle stufe e di altri prodotti PALAZZETTI.

DUAL COMBUSTION SYSTEM

In a wood burning stove, a correctly burning ame emits the same

amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) as would be emitted through the natural decomposition of the wood itself.

The quantity of CO2 produced by combustion or decomposition of a tree corresponds to the quantity of CO2 that the tree itself is capable of extracting from the environment and transforming into oxygen for the air and carbon for itself during its lifetime.

Unlike wood, when fossil fuels are burned – which are not renewable, like coal, diesel oil, gas - a huge amount of C02 accumulated in the course of millions of years is emitted into the atmosphere, increasing the green-house effect. Consequently, the use of wood as fuel maintains the perfect equilibrium of nature because it is a renewable fuel whose burning is compatible with nature’s life cycle.

The principle of clean combustion is in perfect harmony with these characteristics and Palazzetti always refers to it when designing its products.

What exactly do we mean by clean combustion and how does it

come about? By controlling the ow of primary air and by adding

secondary air, a second level of combustion, or post-combustion, takes place. This is indicated by a second characteristically

clearer and stronger ame above the main ame. By adding new oxygen, this ame consumes the unburned gasses, remarkably

improving heat production and reducing the harmful emission of CO (carbon monoxide) caused by incomplete combustion. This is a unique feature of the stoves and other PALAZZETTI products.

DAS SYSTEM DER DOPPELTEN VERBRENNUNG

Eine in einem Heizofen korrekt brennende Flamme gibt die gleiche Menge an Kohlendioxyd (C02) ab, die durch die natürliche Zersetzung des Holzes selbst hätte erzeugt werden können.

Die von der Verbrennung oder Zersetzung einer Pflanze erzeugte C02-Menge entspricht der Menge, die eben diese Pflanze während ihres Lebenszyklus aus der Atmosphäre

entnimmt und für die Luft in Sauerstoff bzw. für die Panze in

Kohlenstoff umwandeln kann. Bei der Verwendung von nicht erneuerbaren

(Kohle, Dieselöl, Gas) werden im Gegenteil zum Holz enorme Mengen an CO2, das sich im Laufe von Millionen Jahren angesammelt hat, an die Atmosphäre abgegeben,was zur Erhöhung des “Treibhauseffekts” beiträgt. Demnach kann die Anwendung von Holz als Brennstoff als umweltfreundlich angesehen werden, da ein erneuerbarer Brennstoff verwendet wird, der sich harmonisch in den natürlichen, ökologischen

Zyklus einfügt.

Das von Palazzetti für Kaminöfen und Kamine angewandte Prinzip der sauberen Verbrennung entspricht voll und ganz

diesen Zielsetzungen, woran man sich auch in der Planung der Produkte hält. Was versteht man unter sauberer Verbrennung und wie funktioniert sie? Die Kontrolle der Primärluft und die Zufuhr von Sekundärluft bewirken eine zweite Verbrennung bzw. eine so genannte Nachverbrennung, bei der sich eine zweite Flamme über der ersten entwickelt und lebendiger und auch klarer brennt. Sie verbrennt durch die Zufuhr der Sekundärluft die unverbrannten Gase, wodurch die Heizleistung wesentlich verbessert wird: die schädlichen, durch die unvollständige Verbrennung bedingten CO-Emissionen (Kohlenmonoxyd) werden auf ein Minimum reduziert. Es h a nd e l t s i ch hierbei um ein exklusives Merkmal der Heizöfen und anderer Produkte der Fa. PALAZZETTI.

Non attendere che i componenti siano logorati

dall’uso prima di procedere alla loro sostituzione. Sostituire un componente usurato prima della rottura favorisce la prevenzione degli infortuni derivanti da incidenti causati proprio dalla rottura improvvisa dei componenti, che potrebbero provocare gravi danni a

persone e cose.

1.13 SERIAL NUMBER PLATE

The serial number plate is located on the rear of

the stove. It shows all relative characteristic data of the product, including manufacturer information, the serial number and marking concerning the electrical system.

1.14 DELIVERY OF THE STOVE

The stove is delivered perfectly packed in cardboard

and xed to a wooden pallet so it can be handled by

forklifts and/or other means.

3 CARATTERISTICHE E DESCRIZIONE

DELLA STUFA

3.1 DESCRIZIONE

Le STUFE OLIVIA, BETTY, ANTONIA, STEFANIA, CLARABELLA vengono costruite con una struttura completamente metallica, con focolare in ghisa chiuso da una portina apribile di acciaio dotata di vetro-ceramico. Il focolare è tutto in ghisa; la parete posteriore poi è realizzata in modo da ottenere la combustione secondaria o ecologica raggiungendo rendimenti elevati.

La STUFA OLIVIA viene prodotta in due modelli, che

differiscono per il rivestimento esterno: acciaio inox oppure maiolica.

Le STUFE BETTY e STEFANIA vengono prodotte con

il rivestimento esterno in acciaio.

La STUFA ANTONIA viene prodotta con il rivestimento

in pietra ollare.

La STUFA CLARABELLA viene prodotta con il

rivestimento in maiolica.

Il rivestimento esterno (in particolare quello in maiolica)

oltre a svolgere una funzione estetica ha lo scopo di accumulare calore durante il periodo di massimo fuoco e di restituirlo gradualmente all’ambiente quando il fuoco si attenua.Tra il rivestimento in maiolica e la struttura in acciaio esistono ampi spazi per il passaggio dell’aria. Questi favoriscono un veloce riscaldamento dell’ambiente, e contemporaneamente impediscono che

3.3 LA COMBUSTIONE

Molti sono i fattori che concorrono per rendere

efficace la combustione in termini di prestazioni termiche e basse emissioni di sostanze inquinati (CO

- Monossido di carbonio). Alcuni fattori dipendono dall’apparecchiatura nella quale avviene la combustione altri invece dipendono da caratteristiche ambientali, di installazione e dal grado di manutenzione ordinaria effettuato al prodotto e alla canna fumaria.

Alcuni fattori importanti sono:

• aria comburente;

• qualità della legna (umidità e dimensioni);

• caratteristiche del sistema di evacuazione dei prodotti della combustione.

Nei paragra successivi sono riportate alcune indicazioni

da rispettare per ottenere il massimo rendimento del prodotto acquistato.

4 MOVIMENTAZIONE E TRASPORTO

5.2 CANNE FUMARIE E COMIGNOLI

Per garantire un regolare funzionamento della stufa

è necessario seguire alcune regole fondamentali che

riguardano la PRESA D’ARIA, la CANNA FUMARIA,

l’INSTALLAZIONE. Rif. UNI 10683/98

• La PRESA D’ARIA ESTERNA è indispensabile

per assicurare un adeguato af usso di ARIA di COMBUSTIONE (Fig. 5.2.1), soprattutto se vi

sono serramenti con vetri doppi e guarnizioni. Praticare quindi un foro del diametro di almeno 10 cm su una parete che dà sull’esterno (1- Presa aria esterna). Il foro dovrà essere fatto possibilmente al di sotto del livello del piano fuoco, dietro o a lato dell’apparecchiatura e dovrà essere dotato sia di griglia antinsetto che di chiusura (Fig.5.2.1).

• In presenza di più focolari nello stesso ambiente si

raccomanda di incrementare la sezione della presa d’aria esterna in dotazione ad ogni apparecchiatura, per evitare fenomeni di depressione d’aria con conseguente fuoriuscita di fumo.

• Le dimensioni della CANNA FUMARIA dovranno

essere conformi a quanto riportato nella tabella dei dati tecnici del cap. 9.

È consigliabile l’uso di canne fumarie coibentate

in refrattario o in acciaio inox di sezione circolare,

con pareti interne a super cie liscia (Fig. 5.2.2).

La sezione della canna fumaria dovrà mantenersi costante per tutta la sua altezza. Si consiglia un’altezza minima di 3,5÷4 m (vedi Fig.5.2.4) in funzione del diametro (vedi caratteristiche tecniche). È opportuno prevedere, sotto l’imbocco del canale da fumo, una camera di raccolta per materiali solidi ed eventuali condense. Le caratteristiche della canna fumaria devono essere conformi a quanto prescritto dalle norme EN 10683 - EN 1856-1-2 - EN 1857

- EN 1443 - EN 13384-1-3 - EN 12391-1. Canne fumarie FATISCENTI, costruite con materiale non

idoneo ( brocemento, acciaio zincato, ecc... con super cie interna ruvida e porosa) sono fuorilegge

e pregiudicano il buon funzionamento della stufa.

• Un PERFETTO TIRAGGIO è dato soprattutto da una

canna fumaria libera da ostacoli quali strozzature, percorsi orizzontali, spigoli; eventuali spostamenti di asse dovranno avere un percorso inclinato con angolazione max di 45° rispetto alla verticale, meglio ancora se di soli 30°. Detti spostamenti vanno effettuati preferibilmente in prossimità del comignolo.

•

II RACCORDO FUMI tra stufa e canna fumaria dovrà avere la stessa sezione dell’ uscita fumi della stufa. Eventuali tratti orizzontali non dovranno superare i 2 metri e dovrà comunque esserci un dislivello di 8÷10 cm per ogni metro, a salire in direzione della canna fumaria. Sono consentite al massimo due curve a 90°.

• II COMIGNOLO deve essere del tipo antivento

con sezione interna equivalente a quella della canna fumaria e sezione di passaggio dei fumi in uscita almeno Doppia di quella interna della canna fumaria (Fig. 5.2.3).

5.2 FLUES AND CHIMNEY CAPS

To ensure correct stove operation it is necessary to

follow some fundamental rules regarding the FLUE, the AIR INTAKE and INSTALLATION. Ref. UNI 10683/98

• The EXTERNAL AIR INTAKE is essential to ensure an appropriate ow of COMBUSTION AIR (Fig.

5.2.1), especially if there are windows with double glazing and seals. Drill a hole with a diameter of at least 10 cm on one of the outside walls (1-External air intake). If possible, the hole should be made below

replace level, behind or to the side of the stove and should be tted with a grill against insects and

for closing (Fig.5.2.1).

• If there is more than one replace in the same room,

we suggest you increase the cross-section of the external air intake for each stove to prevent negative air pressure causing smoke.

• The dimensions of the dimensioni della FLUE PIPE must be as set forth in the table of technical data

DETERIORATING flues made with unsuitable

materials such as asbestos cement, galvanised steel, etc., with a rough or porous internal surface are illegal and can jeopardise the correct operation of the stove.

• A PERFECT DRAUGHT is above all the result of a flue that is clear of obstructions such as chokes, horizontal sections or corners; any axial displacements should be at a maximum angle of 45° compared to the vertical axis, (better still if it is only 30°). These displacements should preferably be effected near the chimney top.

• The SMOKE connection between the stove and ue should have the same cross section as the stove’s smoke outlet. Any horizontal sections must not exceed 2 meters and there must be a difference of 8÷10 cm in height per meter, rising in the direction of the flue. At the most two curves at 90° are permitted.

• The CHIMNEY TOP shall be the WINDPROOF type with an inside cross section equivalent to that of the

ue and with a smoke outlet passage section at least

• To avoid draught problems, each stove should have

its own independent ue. If there is more than one ue on the roof the others should be situated at a

distance of at least 2 metres and the stove’s chimney top should be at least 40 cm ABOVE the others (Fig.5.2.4). If the chimney tops are near each other install some dividing panels.

Es ist außerdem empfehlenswert, an der Mündung des Rauchkanals eine Kammer vorzusehen, in der Feststoffe und eventuelle Kondensflüssigkeit aufgefangen werden. Die Merkmale des Rauchfangs müssen dem Inhalt der Normen EN 10683 - EN 1856-1-2 - EN 1857 - EN 1443 - EN 13384-1-3 - EN 12391-1 entsprechen. collegata ad altre stufe o caminetti, è necessario

provvedere ad una accurata pulizia per evitare

anomali funzionamenti e per scongiurare il pericolo

di incendio degli incombusti depositati sulle

pareti interne della canna fumaria.

In condizioni di normale funzionamento la pulizia

della canna fumaria deve essere effettuata almeno

una volta all’anno.

5.3 AREA DI INSTALLAZIONE



Qualora nel locale ci siano altri apparecchi di

riscaldamento le prese dell’aria comburente devono garantire il volume di aria al necessario al corretto

funzionamento di tutti i dispositivi.

Nel caso in cui nella stanza dove è ubicata la stufa

siano presenti e funzionanti uno o più ventilatori di estrazione (cappe di aspirazione) si potrebbero verificare malfunzionamenti alla combustione causati dalla scarsità di aria comburente.

Pareti adiacenti e piano di appoggio a pavimento

5.5 CONVERSIONE USCITA FUMI

SUPERIORE / POSTERIORE (Fig.5.5.1)

La stufa è predisposta per la reversibilità dell’uscita

fumi da superiore a posteriore e viceversa. Di serie vengono prodotte con l’uscita superiore, ma durante l’installazione è possibile modificare l’uscita fumi agendo come segue:

• Togliere il tappo di chiusura (A) svitando le 4 viti di

ssaggio.

• Togliere la angia con tubo uscita fumi superiore (Ø

150mm) (B) svitando le relative viti di ssaggio ed

estraendola.

• Eseguire quindi il riassemblaggio invertendo angia

di uscita fumi e tappo rispetto alle loro posizioni

originarie ssandoli con le viti precedentemente tolte.

Prima di chiudere il foro di uscita fumi inutilizzato,

provvedere a controllare il corretto posizionamento

della guarnizione in bra ceramica del tappo, per

evitare nel tempo l’eventuale fuoriuscita di fumo.

5.6 MONTAGGIO DEL RIVESTIMENTO

Le stufe OLIV IA-BETTY-ANTONIA-ST EFANIA-

CLARABELLA, a seconda del modello, possono avere il rivestimento interamente in ceramica, in pietra ollare

oppure presentare i anchi in acciaio inox.

La struttura metallica è dotata dei supporti necessari

per l’ancoraggio dei singoli elementi componenti il rivestimento. La stufa viene consegnata con il rivestimento imballato separatamente, per evitare rotture e ammaccature durante il trasporto e il posizionamento. Rimuovere gli imballi solo una volta raggiunto il luogo di installazione. Ogni singola stufa viene premontata con il proprio rivestimento in fase

di produzione e collaudo, per vericarne le tolleranze e regolare i supporti metallici, al ne di avere poi un assemblaggio il più facile e veloce possibile.

Dopo aver posizionato e sistemato la struttura

metallica della stufa si può procedere al montaggio del rivestimento.

5.6.1

• Remove closing cap (A) by unscrewing the 4 securing

screws.

• Remove the ange with the top smoke outlet pipe,

150 mm in diameter (B), by unscrewing the relative securing screws and pulling it out.

• Then reassemble inverting the smoke outlet ange

and cap with respect to their original positions and secure them with the screws removed previously. Before closing the unused smoke outlet hole, check

the correct position of the cap’s ceramic bre seal to

avoid the possibility of smoke coming through over time.

5.6 FITTING THE CLADDING

CLARABELLA stoves may be with the cladding completely in ceramic, in soapstone or with stainless steel sides.

The metal structure is tted with the supports needed

to anchor the single cladding elements.

The stove is delivered with the cladding packed

separately to avoid breakage and denting during transportation and positioning. Remove packaging only when it has reached the place of installation.

Each single stove is pre-assembled with its cladding

during the production and testing phase in order to verify tolerances and to adjust the metal supports to ensure an easy and quick assembly.

Once the stove’s metal structure is positioned and

arranged, the cladding can be tted.

5.6.1 Fitting the sides

This operation varies according to the type of side to

be installed: ceramic or stainless steel.The stove is delivered with the ceramic parts packed separately.

Steel SiDeS If the stove is to be installed with steel sides, they will

already be mounted when the stove is delivered and the GS grille can be bent slightly to make it easier to

Nachdem die Metallstruktur des Heizofens positioniert und eingestellt wurde, kann die Montage der Verkleidung erfolgen.

Seitenteile, die installiert werden: Keramik oder Edelstahl. Der Heizofen wird mit separat verpackten Keramikteilen geliefert.

5.6.2 Montaggio frontalini in ceramica

inferiormente. La procedura di montaggio è la stessa per entrambi i frontalini.

Una volta montati i  anchi e i frontalini posizionare il

Accertarsi quindi che risulti ben incastrato sulla struttura sottostante. Nel caso abbiate mantenuto l’uscita fumi superiore si potrà poi procedere al collegamento fumario direttamente dal bocchettone fumi lasciato libero dal coperchio in ceramica. Nel caso invece abbiate optato per l’uscita fumi posteriore si potrà chiudere il foro del coperchio ceramico con l’apposito tappo, in dotazione.

5.7 COLLEGAMENTO ALLA CANNA FUMARIA

La stufa va collegata alla canna fumaria mediante

appositi tubi e raccordi (Fig. 5.7.1). L’uscita fumi delle stufe ha un diametro di 150 mm e deve essere collegata ad una canna fumaria che abbia un diametro come in tabella “caratteristiche tecniche”. L’asse del tubo di uscita fumi si trova alle seguenti altezze:

volta prima dell’accensione della stufa in modo da familiarizzare con le azioni da porre in essere in fase

di pulizia annuale e contemporaneamente veri care che il de ettore in ghisa sia posizionato in maniera

corretta. Le illustrazioni di Figg. 5.8.1-2-3 si riferiscono alla sequenza di montaggio.

6 MESSA IN SERVIZIO ED USO DELLA

STUFA

6.1 TIPO DI COMBUSTIBILE

Le stufe OLIV IA-BETTY-ANTONI A-STEFANIA-

CLARABELLA vanno alimentate preferibilmente con legna di faggio/betulla ben stagionata. Ciascun tipo di legna possiede caratteristiche diverse che

in uenzano anche il rendimento della combustione.

La resa nominale in kW del caminetto dichiarata, si ottiene bruciando una corretta quantità di legna, facendo attenzione a non sovraccaricare la camera di combustione. L’uso delle conifere (pino, abete) e sconsigliato: contengono elevate quantità di sostanze resinose che intasano velocemente la canna fumaria.

Non bruciare legna verniciata. Qualsiasi legna decidiate di bruciare ricordate sempre

di spaccarla per farle perdere l’umidità: più elevato è il

suo contenuto in acqua, maggiore è la quantità di calore necessario per incendiarsi.

6.2 PRIMA ACCENSIONE

Le prime accensioni devono essere effettuate a fuoco

moderato.

• Eventuali sgradevoli odori o fumi sono causati dall’evaporazione o dall’essiccamento di alcuni materiali utilizzati. Tale fenomeno tenderà a protrarsi

per qualche giorno  no a svanire.

• Procedere come segue: immettere nel focolare della carta appallottolata, coprire la carta con una piccola quantità di ramoscelli o qualche pezzo di legno sottile

e ben stagionato in modo che sviluppi il più possibile la  amma.

• Aprire al massimo il registro dell’aria comburente (Fig.6.2 - ON=aperto). L’accensione della stufa, quando il focolare è freddo, può essere effettuata con la portina accostata alla sede di battuta ma non chiusa, per facilitare l’evaporazione della condensa che si viene a formare sul vetro. A combustione avviata la portina andrà tenuta chiusa.

• Accendere la carta e mano a mano che il fuoco procede aggiungere legna per circa la metà del quantitativo consigliato (vedere scheda dei dati

tecnici nel cap.9). Appena le  amme si saranno

smorzate e avranno formato un buon letto di braci, caricare il focolare con un normale quantitativo di legna.

• Durante il normale funzionamento della stufa ogni nuovo carico di legna andrà effettuato sul letto di braci lasciato dal carico precedente.

• Prestare attenzione a non superare la quantità di legna consigliata.

NB: Per accendere il fuoco non usare mai alcool,

benzina, kerosene o altri combustibili liquidi. Tenere gli stessi lontano dal fuoco. Non usare zollette accendi-fuoco derivate dal petrolio o di origine chimica: possono arrecare gravi danni alle pareti del focolare. Utilizzare esclusivamente zollette accendifuoco di tipo ecologico.

6 COMMISSIONING AND USING THE

STOVE

6.1 TYPE OF FUEL

T he OL I VI A- B E TT Y- A NT O N I A- S TE FAN I A-

CLARABELLA stoves are to be fuelled preferably with mature beech or birch wood.

Each type of wood has different characteristics that also

inuence combustion yield.

The nominal yield in kW of the chimney is obtained by

burning the right quantity of wood, making sure not to overload the combustion chamber. TWe do not advise

using conifers (pine, r) as they contain high quantities of resin that quickly clog the ue.

Do not burn painted wood. With any wood you decide to burn always remember to

break it so that it looses humidity: the higher its content in water, the more heat will be needed to light up.

6.2 LIGHTING THE STOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME

When lighting the stove the rst few times the ame

should be kept low.

• N.B. If there are any unpleasant smells or fumes they

are caused by the evaporation or drying of some of the materials used. This phenomenon will last for several days but will gradually disappear.

• Proceed as follows: place rolled up balls of paper

in the hearth, cover the paper with a small amount

of twigs or ne pieces of old wood so that the re

catches properly.

• Open the combustion air grid completely (Fig. 6.2.1

ON= open). When the replace is cold, stove lighting

can be done with the door left ajar to encourage evaporation of condensation which forms on the glass. Once combustion has started the door is to be kept closed.

• Light the paper, and as the re grows, add wood up

to about half of the recommended amount (see the techncial data information in chapter 9). As soon as

the ames have died down somewhat and there is

a good bed of coals, load the replace with a normal amount of wood.

•

During normal stove operation, load wood onto the

bed of coals left from the previous load.

•

Make sure you do not exceed the recommended

amount of wood.

NB: Never use alcohol, petrol, kerosene or other

liquid fuels to light the re. Keep these substances

far away from the re. Do not use petrol or chemical origin re-lighters as they can seriously damage the hearth’s walls. Only use ecological re lighting aids.

6 INBETRIEBNAHME UND GEBRAUCH

6.1 BRENNSTOFFE

Jedes Holz weist individuelle Eigenschaften auf ,

d.h. jede Holzart wirkt sich unterschiedlich auf die Brennleistung aus.

Die erklärte Nennleistung in kW des Ofens erhält man

durch Verbrennen einer korrekten Menge Holz, d.h. ohne die Brennkammer zu überfüllen . Von der Verwendung von Nadelhölzern (Fichte, Tanne) wird abgeraten: sie enthalten eine grosse Menge harzhaltiger Substanzen,

die den Rauchfang schnell verstopfen. Kein lackiertes Holz zu verbrennen. Welches Holz Sie auch immer verwenden möchten:

spalten Sie es, damit ihm die Feuchtigkeit entzogen

wird, denn je feuchter das Holz ist, umso mehr Hitze

braucht man, um es zu entzünden.

6.2 ERSTE ZÜNDUNG

Die ersten Zündungen sollten bei mäßiger Flamme

erfolgen.

• Das eventuelle Entstehen von schlechten Gerüchen

oder die Bildung von Rauch werden durch das Verdampfen bzw. Trocknen einiger verwendeter Materialien verursacht. Das kann bei den ersten Malen geschehen, wenn der Ofen benutzt wird, und hört dann mit der Zeit ganz auf.

6.3 CONTROLLO DELLA COMBUSTIONE

Le stufe OLIV IA-BETTY-ANTONI A-ST EFANIA-

CLARABELLAsono dotate di un sistema innovativo con doppia combustione: PRIMARIA e SECONDARIA per ridurre le emissioni inquinanti in atmosfera con conseguente MAGGIORE RENDIMENTO TERMICO.

La COMBUSTIONE PRIMARIA avviene immettendo

nel braciere, attraverso delle feritoie, aria che viene regolata dal pomello esterno posizionato sul frontalino del cassetto cenere (Fig.6.2.1):

• Spostando il pomello verso + a DESTRA, si ottiene

una combustione più rapida;

• Spostando il pomello verso – a SINISTRA la

combustione sarà più lenta.

Più la stufa è avviata maggiore sarà la  amma. Alla

prima accensione della giornata, o in presenza di legna umida, è consigliabile aprire completamente l’aria primaria del braciere. A fuoco avviato sarà opportuno regolare l’aria in base alle esigenze di calore o in funzione di quanto si vuol far durare la carica della legna.

La COMBUSTIONE SECONDARIA, presente su OLIVIA-

BETTY-ANTONIA-STEFANIA-CLARABELLA, si ottiene immettendo nel focolare aria preriscaldata attraverso i fori posti sulla parte superiore della parete di fondo. Entrando nel focolare l’ O2 (ossigeno) contenuto nell’aria incendia i gas incombusti e in particolare il CO (monossido di carbonio) formatosi durante la combustione primaria, trasformandolo in CO2 (anidride carbonica). L’effetto è ben visibile per la formazione

di un tappeto di  amma in corrispondenza dei fori di

immissione dell’aria secondaria.

6.4 COME USARE LA PORTINA (Fig. 6.4.1)

L’apertura si ottiene impugnando la maniglia e

ruotandola all’infuori. Durante il funzionamento della stufa la portina va tenuta chiusa. Appena al di sotto della ceramica anteriore superiore, tra questa e la portina, è collocata una levetta di regolazione “aria pulizia vetro”

(R) che ha la funzione di consentire un  usso d’aria che lambisce la super cie interna del vetro ceramico e

ne assicura così la costante pulizia. La quantità di aria aumenta quando la levetta è posizionata a destra e viceversa diminuisce verso sinistra.

La portina è in vetro ceramico resistente a sbalzi termici

 no a 800°C però è fragile perciò evitate di sottoporla

a stress meccanici (urti ecc...).

Quando il fuoco è acceso la portina raggiunge

In fase di carica di legna nel focolare l’apertura della

portina va eseguita in due fasi, dapprima lentamente e parzialmente (3-4 cm), per permettere ai fumi del focolare di essere aspirati dalla canna fumaria; poi completamente, evitando così fuoriuscite di fumo in ambiente.

6.5

REGOLAZIONE DELLA MANIGLIA (Fig. 6.5.1)

La maniglia della portina è regolata già dalla fabbrica

per una chiusura ottimale.

Dopo alcune settimane di utilizzo, in seguito al normale

assestamento delle guarnizioni di tenuta, può rendersi necessaria una regolazione della maniglia per ottenere una perfetta chiusura della portina.

The longer the stove has been lit, the stronger the ame

will be.

When lighting the stove for the rst time in the day,

or with damp wood, the primary brazier air should

be opened completely. Once the re is burning it is

advisable to adjust the air depending on how much heat

is required or how long you want the load of rewood

to last.

6.4 HOW TO USE THE DOOR (FIG. 6.4.1)

To open the door grip the handle and turn it outwards.

STEFANIA-CLARABELLA vorgesehene SEKUNDÄRE VERBRENNUNG erhält man durch Zufuhr von vorgeheizter Luft durch die auf der oberen Seite der Bodenplatte des Heizofens befindlichen Öffnungen in die Feuerstelle. der in der Luft enthaltene Sauerstoff entzündet durch seinen Eintritt in die Feuerstelle das nicht verbrannte Gas (Kohlenmonoxid), das sich während der primären Verbrennung gebildet hat, und wandelt dieses in Kohlensäure (CO2) um. Die Wirkung ist an dem sich um die Öffnungen der Sekundärluft bildenden Flammenbett gut sichtbar.

Si dovrà agire in questo modo:

· allentare la vite di  ssaggio (A)

· agire sul perno di rotazione della maniglia (C). Il

perno è costituito da due porzioni disassate tra loro. Agendo sul perno lo si sposta in avanti o all’indietro rispetto alla portina. In questo modo viene compensato il lasco causato dall’assestamento delle guarnizioni.

· Una volta ottenuta una giusta regolazione del perno,

riavvitare saldamente la vite (A)

· Agendo sulla vite (B) potremo regolare la tensione

della maniglia rendendo più o meno facile la sua

rotazione sul perno.

7 MANUTENZIONE

7.1 SCARICO DELLA CENERE

Il cassetto cenere che si trova all’interno del focolare

deve essere assolutamente svuotato non appena la cenere raggiunge il colmo, poiché potrebbe causare surriscaldamenti della griglia in ghisa del focolare e inibire il passaggio di aria al focolare. Si consiglia comunque un frequente svuotamento del cassetto per favorire una regolare immissione di aria comburente nel focolare. È opportuno effettuare lo scarico a stufa fredda, ad esempio ogni mattina prima dell’accensione.

7.2 PULIZIA DEL VETRO

Per pulire la super cie interna del vetro è necessario

aprire la portina come indicato a disegno (Fig.7.2.1).

Pulire il vetro con un panno o carta di giornale

appallottolata inumiditi, passati nella cenere e stro nati quindi sulle parti sporche  no ad ottenere la pulizia

totale. È possibile utilizzare i normali detergenti usati per la pulizia dei forni di cucina. Non pulire il vetro durante il funzionamento della stufa.

N.B.: Il vetro ceramico resiste benissimo alle alte

temperature, ma è fragile, quindi NON URTARE.

7.3 PULIZIA DELLA CERAMICA

Il rivestimento in ceramica deve essere pulito con

un detergente delicato e con un panno umido. Non bagnare con acqua fredda quando la stufa è calda perché lo shock termico potrebbe provocare la rottura del rivestimento ceramico.

7.4 PULIZIA DEL FOCOLARE

Periodicamente o comunque quando le incrostazioni

di fuliggine diventano eccessive, eseguire una pulizia accurata del vano focolare, togliendo anche i

de ettori. Questo permette un migliore funzionamento

e rendimento della stufa.

7.5 PULIZIA DELLA CANNA FUMARIA

Va fatta prima del periodo di accensione della

stufa e ogni qualvolta si noti che all’interno della conduttura si sia formato uno strato di fuliggine e catramina, sostanza facilmente infiammabile. Le incrostazioni, quando raggiungono uno spessore di 5-6 mm, in presenza di elevate temperature e di scintille possono incendiarsi.Si consiglia pertanto di effettuare la pulizia almeno una volta all’anno o comunque ogni

7 MAINTENANCE

7.1 GETTING RID OF THE ASHES

The ash drawer, which is under the hearth, must be

completely emptied when it is full so as not to overheat the hearth’s cast iron grid preventing the combustion air from reaching it. The drawer should, in any case, be emptied frequently so there is no hindrance to air getting through to the hearth. The drawer should be emptied when the stove is cold, for example every morning before lighting.

6.5 REGULIERUNG DES GRIFFES (ABB. 6.5.1)

Der Türgriff wurde bereits im Werk so montiert, dass

ein optimaler Verschluss gewährleistet ist.

Nachdem Sie den Ofen einige Wochen lang benutzt

haben, muss der Griff nach einem normalen Setzen der Dichtung eventuell neu eingestellt werden, damit die Tür wieder perfekt schließt.

Hierzu wie folgt vorgehen:

· die Befestigungsschrauben lösen (A)

· Auf den Rotationsbolzen des Griffs drücken ( Dieser Bolzen besteht aus zwei voneinander unabhängigen Einheiten. Durch Drücken auf den Bolzen kann man ihn im Vergleich zur Tür nach vorn bzw. nach hinten bewegen. Auf diese Weise wird der durch das Setzen der Dichtungen verursachte Spielraum kompensiert.

· Durch Verstellen der Schraube (B) kann die

7.2 CLEANING THE GLASS

To clean the inside of the glass open the door as shown

in the drawing (Fig. 7.2.1).

Clean the glass using a cloth or piece of newspaper

rolled up into a ball and dampened, rolled in ash, rubbing on the dirty parts until thoroughly clean. Normal detergents used to clean kitchen ovens can be used.

DO NOT clean the glass when the stove is lit.

N.B.:Thepyroceramwithstandshightemperatures

without any problems , h owever, it is  frag ile,

therefore DO NOT STRIKE IT.

7.1 ASCHENENTLEERUNG

Der Aschenkasten, der sich unterhalb der Feuerstelle

bendet, muss vor jedem Zünden und jedes Mal, wenn

er voll ist, entleert werden, damit das Gusseisengitter nicht überhitzt und keine Verbrennungsluft in die Feuerstelle eintreten kann. Es wird in jedem Fall

empfohlen, den Aschenkasten häug zu entleeren,

um einen regulären Lufteintritt in die Feuerstelle zu gewährleisten. Es ist ratsam, den Heizofen zuvor abkühlen zu lassen und diesen in jedem Fall täglich vor dem Zünden zu entleeren.

7.3 CLEANING THE CERAMIC

Clean the steel cladding with a mild detergent and a

damp cloth. Do not wet with cold water when the stove is hot as the thermal shock could cause the ceramic cladding to break.

7.4 CLEANING THE HEARTH

At regular intervals or when soot deposits become

excessive, clean the hearth thoroughly, also removing the diaphragms. This enables better stove functioning and yield.

7.5 CLEANING THE FLUE

This is to be done before lighting the stove and each

time a layer of soot or tar is noted inside the pipe, as

this is an easily inammable substance.

When the deposits are 5-6 mm thick they could catch re

if the temperature is very high and if there are sparks,

damaging the ue and the house.

It is advisable in any case to clean at least once a year,

or any time it appears necessary.

7.2 REINIGUNG DES GLASES

Um das Glas innen zu reinigen, muss die Tür, wie in

der Zeichnung gezeigt, geöffnet werden. (Abb.7.2.1)

Das Glas mit einem Lappen oder zusammengeknülltem

und feuchtem Zeitungspapier, die zuvor in die Asche getaucht wurden, ganz sauber reiben. Es können auch Reinigungsmittel verwendet werden, die für das Säubern von Küchenherden geeignet sind.

Das Glas darf, während der Heizofen in Betrieb ist, nicht

gereinigt werden.

 BITTE BEACHTEN: Das Keramikglas ist auch bei

hohen Temperaturen äußerst hitzebeständig, in seinerStrukturallerdingszerbrechlich;esdarfalso

7.3 REINIGUNG DER KERAMIK

Die Keramikverkleidung muss mit einem milden

Reinigungsmittel und einem feuchten Lappen gesäubert werden. Den Ofen, solange er heiß ist, nicht mit kaltem Wasser in Berührung kommen lassen, da dies einen thermischen Schock und das Brechen der Keramikverkleidung verursachen könnte.

7.4 REINIGUNG DER FEUERSTELLE

Die Feuerstelle von Zeit zu Zeit und immer dann, wenn

übermäßige Rußablagerungen auftreten, akkurat reinigen und dazu auch die Rauchblenden entfernen. Dies gewährleistet einen besseren Betrieb und eine

volta che risulti necessario.

8 INFORMAZIONI PER LA
