ISOMATE® CM Mist
ISOMATE CM Mist works with Pacific Biocontrol’s battery powered
aerosol emitter for delivering codling moth pheromone. Each emitter
comes with four AA batteries installed and is pre-programmed to
spray pheromone every 15 minutes for 12 hours per day starting
at 5:00 p.m. and ending at 5:00 a.m. Temperature sensor ensures
efficient release of pheromone. An internal clock is pre-set to
the local time zone. Wire hangers are included in the box.

Trouble Shooting
• If the left LED light does not flash amber and the emitter does not
spray pheromone, then remove can and re-insert.
• If problem persists then contact your local distributor or a Pacific Biocontrol
representative for more information.
Caution!
Point Emitter Away From Face When
Setting Up And Activating
Activation Occurs Upon Can Insertion!
1. Insert can into emitter until it locks
into position.
2. Left LED light will then flash amber
and the emitter will spray once.
3. Following activation, LED will flash
amber at 3-second intervals to
indicate the emitter is on and ready
for deployment in the orchard.
4. Hang ISOMATE CM Mist in tree with
wire hanger or parachute cord.
5. ISOMATE CM Mist will spray at
15 minute intervals from 5:00 p.m.
to 5:00 a.m. if temperatures are
above 50 °F.

Application of CM Mist
1. ISOMATE
CM Mist application should be made prior to moth
emergence in spring.
2. Place activated misters as high as possible in the top third of the tree
canopy using hangar or parachute cord.
3. Knowing orchard topography, prevailing wind direction and historical
pest pressure helps to optimize mister placement.
4. Distribute misters throughout the orchard in a grid pattern at
one or two per acre. A square acre is 209 ft by 209 ft. Misters should
therefore be placed approximately 209 ft. apart to achieve one per
acre. Place the first mister near orchard border. Continue placing
misters every 209 ft. For walnut orchards refer to UC IPM placement
guidelines at: http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/r881300211.html
Maintenance: User must monitor and maintain performance of emitter during
its life in the orchard.
Aerosol emitter and CM Mist can are designed to last one season. Recycle or dispose
of materials at the end of the season.
