A. Please Inspect the Following Before Installation:
l.Enclosed Items: manual, duct collar, oil cup
ll.Performance: Check if light and motor switch appear normal after
connecting the power.
lll. This electrical appliance must be connected to the ground outlet to avoid
accidents or damaging the appliance.
B. Exhaust Pipe Length:
Using an 8-inch diameter exhaust pipe can improve ventilation efficiency. The
distance from the exhaust opening to the body of the hood should not be too
long. Otherwise, the airflow gets trapped inside the pipe and affects the
exhaust function. The ideal distance from the range hood to the stove top should
be 26-30 inches. This distance should be measured from the bottom of the range
hood to the top of the stove. The closer the range hood is to the stove top the
more effective the exhaust ventilation.
C. Ideal Installation Position:
The range hood should be installed with the bottom edge of the range hood
62-64 inches from the floor. (The distance between the bottom of the range
hood and the top of the gas stove should not exceed 30 inches).
D. Drilling a Hole on the Wall:
Measure the spot on the wall where the L-shape exhaust pipe will be placed.
The screw heads should stick out ¼ inches from the wall for the range hood
to be mounted, which also allows the range hood to stay leveled when installed.
Then make marks on the wall where you are going to drill the holes. Before
drilling holes in the wall, be sure to check the structure of the wall and the
material behind the wall so it will not be damaged after drilling.
Then proceed to drill holes on the marked areas.
Installing range hood and exhaust pipe:
Install the screws into the wall on marked areas. Adjust the hooks (hanging rail)
on both sides of the range hood and hang the range hood on the screws.
After the range hood is mounted, check to make sure it’s balanced.
Based on the position marked for the exhaust pipe, pick a straight pipe cut to
an appropriate length and install. An air outlet has been attached to the exhaust
pipe unit before leaving the factory. Attach the exhaust pipe to the straight pipe
where the two units connect. Before installation, put some glue on the inside
ring of the exhaust pipe opening, so the pipes can be securely attached.
Then secure the attachment point with plastic tape to prevent cleaning foams
from leaking during cleaning.

IV. Installation Procedures
四.安裝步 驟
Warning: Electrical wiring must be handled by a professional electrician.
The range hood must be connected to a ground outlet. Before doing any
electrical work, please be sure to turn off the power supply.
1. Measure the distance between the top of the stove and the bottom of the
range hood (see figure , Point A). Make marks on the wall (at least 24 inches).
2. Measure the center point, and mark on the wall.
3. Measure the distance between Point A and Point B, and mark these on the
wall ( about 16 inches)
4. Make two marks on Point B where the two screws will be (about 12.6 inches)
5. Put the two M4 X 1-1/2” screws in the wall, but not securely tightened.
6. Remove the two aluminum mesh filters on the bottom of the range hood.
7. Hang the range hood on the two screws that have been installed in the wall
and then tighten the screws (see picture A).
8. Use the two M4 x 1” screws to secure the pipe-cover bracket.
9. Install the power cord and exhaust pipe.
10. Turn on the power supply and test if the hood is working and if air is moving
through the exhaust pipe outlet.
11. Use two M3.5x8” to secure the top part of the pipe-cover to the bracket,
then install the bottom part. Put the two aluminum mesh filters back in.
1. Please clean the range hood surface regularly with warm soapy water and
wipe with a cotton cloth to prevent grease from accumulating.
2. Please do not use harsh cleansers or coarse material to clean the surface
because that will damage the surface.
3. A non-invasive stainless steel polish is recommended to polish the surface
after cleaning.
4. Please use soft material for polishing because it will make your range hood
surface shinier.
5. Please do not use cleaning solutions that have bleach as an ingredient.
B. Aluminum Mesh Filter Maintenance
1. The aluminum mesh filters should be removed for cleaning once a month or
after using the range hood for 30 hours.
2. The aluminum mesh filters can be cleaned by hand using warm water. Please
soak in a non-corrosive dish washing liquid first and then clean. After air drying,
please attach them back to the range hood.
3. If the aluminum mesh filters are not attached back to the range hood, please
do not turn on the range hood. Otherwise, oil and grease will get in the motor
and the inside of the range hood.
4. Please see picture below on how to remove the aluminum mesh filters: gently
pull the small handle on the aluminum mesh filter to remove.
Clean the oil cup once a week. Remove the oil in the oil cup when it’s 70%
full and clean the cup.
C. Cleaning methods
1. Make sure to turn off power before cleaning the hood;
otherwise it would be dangerous.
2. Do not pour water to the motor or it would be damaged.
3. Do not spray degreasing detergent to clean the hood
while cooking.
4. It is recommended that you use non-abrasive stainless
steel polish/cleaners.
5. Clean the hood cover surface according to the instruction of non-abrasive detergent.
6. Remove the greasy tray and pour detergent into it then waiting for 30 minutes before
cleaning it.

VIII. Matters Needing Special Attention
八.注意事項
Special Attention when Using the Range Hood:
The range hood must be turned on every time before cooking to ensure
maximum ventilation effect. If there is damage to the power cord, removing
and changing the power cord must be handled by the manufacturer, installer
or a qualified electrician. When the range hood, gas stove, or other fuel appliances
are being used simultaneously, there must be good ventilation in the kitchen.
If cleaning the range hood is conducted without following the instructions in the
manual, you may risk causing a fire.
Do not light a fire directly under the range hood.
The exhaust gas from the range hood can’t be fed into the exhaust channel of
the gas stove or any other appliances.
The minimum distance required between the top of the stove and the bottom of
the range hood is 24 inches. If the range hood installation manual states that
more distance are required, it must be taken into consideration.
Adjust range hood to appropriate height for complete emission of exhaust.
To avoid danger, parts in the range hood must be disassembled with tools,
