Animal-Away

This latest PIR + ULTRASONIC Animal -Aw ay provides you a convenient, non-location limited, effective and
humane way to deter the cats, dogs, rabbits, squirrels out of your gardens, lawn and yard without harming them.

Animal-Away utilizes the sophisticated PIR (Passive Infra Red detecting system) to monitor a fan shaped area of
70 degree arc. and distance up to 30 feet which is appro. 550 square feet of unobstructed space. Intruding
creatures will be detected within the protecting area.
Animal-Away will send ultrasound at frequency of about 23,000Hz to deter the intruding creatures once the
detecting system is triggered. The utilization of infra red detecting system is applied to save battery energy as
Animal-Away is operated by a 9V alkaline battery. With the benefits of battery operation, Animal-Aw ay can be
easily installed at any place without electricity. You may mount the Animal -Aw ay to the wall outside of your
building, on a ledge or attach it to a post to stand the unit on the ground. Although the unit is weather-resistant, it
is recommended to remove the main module from the mounting shelter if storms are expected.

The ultrasonic sound emitted from Anima l-Awa y can not be heard by humans but is uncomfortable to animals,
whose only reaction is to quickly move away.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Remove the main module from the mounting shelter by
inserting a thin, blunt blade between the back of the unit
and twisting gently. The module will slide out.

2. Slide open the cover of battery compartment at the back
side of the main module, install a new 9V alkaline battery.

3. Replace the main module by pushing it into the mounting
shelter. Using screw to mount shelter between 30 - 90
cm from the ground to wall or a post.

4. Turn the power switch to “ON” position. A built-in red
LED indicator inside of the lens will be lit on after the
warming up time of 30 seconds approximately to confirm
the detection and ultrasound waves emission.

5. Leave your Anima l-Away on for 24 hours.

If the red LED indicator does not light up within the
protection zone, it is time to replace battery. To replace
battery, turn the power switch to “OFF” position and repeat
steps 1-2 and replace the main module by pushing it into
the mounting shelter.

PLEASE NOTE

z Turn off the Animal -Aw ay if your pet is playing around

the protection area.

z When anyone is in the protection area, turn off the device

to preserve the battery life.

z Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
z Do not modify or tamper with the device’s internal

components. Covering or painting over the front
speaker can damage the device and cause it to
malfunction.

z The PIR detecting system goes on and off as the

heat-body animal’s movement stop and start.

z Make sure the lens is clear. Do not handle the lens and

use damp cloth to wipe the dirt gently. Use no benzine,
alcohol or paint thinner.

z If use Ani mal-Aw ay indoors, ensure the cat or dog is

able to withdraw.

Das neu entwickelte Anima l Aw ay mit Bewegungsmelder und Ultraschall Frequenz ist ein Umweltfreundliches
Gerät, welches Katzen, Hunde, Kaninchen und Eichhörnchen ohne Verletzungsgefahr für die Tiere vertreibt.

Animal Awa y benutzt dazu einen dafür entwickelten, eingebauten infraroten Bewegungsmelder, der alle Tiere in
einem Winkel von 70° und einer Entfernung von 10m aufspürt. Tiere, die in diesen Bereich eindringen, werden
durch einen lauten, für Menschen jedoch nicht hörbaren Ton von 23.000 Hz im Ultaschallbereich verschreckt. Der
infrarote Bewegungsmelder schaltet den Ton nur ein, wenn ein Tier in den Bereich eingedrungen ist. Diese
Wirkungsweise führt dazu, daß ungewollte Tiere sich nicht an das Geräusch gewöhnen können und die 9 Volt
Alkaline Batterie einen wesentlich längeren Betrieb zulässt. Da Animal Aw ay Batterie betrieben ist, kann das Gerät
überall stromunabhängig eingesetzt werden. Anima l Aw ay kann problemlos an der Hauswand, am Zaun oder an
einem freistehenden Pfosten befestigt werden. Animal Away ist mit einem separaten, wetterfesten Schutzgehäuse
ausgestattet, jedoch ist es empfehlenswert bei starkem Regen und Sturmwetter das eigentliche Arbeitsmodul vom
Schutzgehäuse zu entfernen und im Innenbereich aufzubewahren.

Das vom Animal Away ausgesendete Geräusch in Ultraschall Frequenz ist für Menschen nicht hörbar, jedoch auf
Dauer unangenehm für ungewollte Tiere, die sich daraufhin schnell eine ‘ruhigere’ Umgebung suchen.

Gebrauchsanleitung

1. Entfernen Sie das Hauptmodul vom wetterfesten
Schutzgehäuse, indem Sie das Hauptmodul nach
vorne herausziehen.

2. Öffnen Sie das Batteriegehäuse auf der Rückseite
des Hauptmoduls und legen Sie eine neue 9Volt
Alkaline Batterie ein.

3. Schieben Sie das Hauptmodul wieder in das
wetterfeste Schutzgehäuse ganz nach hinten ein.

4. Schieben Sie den Ein/Aus Schalter auf der
Vorderseite des Hauptmoduls in die Ein (ON)
Position. Eine rote LED Leuchte hinter der Linse
des Bewegungsmelders leuchtet nach ungefähr 30
Sekunden auf, um die Bereitschaft des Gerätes zu
signalisieren.

5. Animal Away ist nun einsatzbereit.

Wenn die rote LED Leuchte nicht mehr aufleuchtet,
muss die Batterie ausgetauscht werden. Um die
Batterie zu wechseln, schalten Sie das Gerät aus,
indem Sie den Hauptschalter in die Aus (OFF) Position
schieben. Wiederholen Sie Punkt 1-5 in der
Gebrauchsanleitung.

Wichige Hinweise

 Schalten Sie Animal Awa y aus, wenn Haustiere

sich in der Wirkungszone befinden.

 Schalten Sie An imal Away aus, wenn Menschen

sich in der Bewegungszone befinden, um Strom zu
sparen.

 Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht ins Wasser oder

andere Flüssigkeiten.

 Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht gewaltsam.
 Der infrarote Bewegungsmelder schaltet ein, wenn

er Bewegung und Körperwärme registriert.

 Säubern Sie die Linse ab und zu mit wenig Wasser.

Keine Chemikalien verwenden!

 Wenn Anim al Awa y im Innenraum verwendet wird,

darauf achten dass Haustiere eine
Fluchtmöglichkeit haben.

P3 INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION ("P3") warrants to the original retail purchaser only, that its
product is free from defects in material or workmanship under the condition of normal use and service
for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase. In the event that a defect, malfunction or
failure occurs or is discovered during the warranty period, P3 will repair or replace at its option the
product or component part(s) which shall appear in the reasonable judgment of P3 to be defective or
not to factory specifications. A product requiring service is to be returned to P3 along with the sales
receipt or other proof of purchase acceptable to P3 and a statement describing the defect or
malfunction. All transportation costs shall be borne by the owner and the risk of loss shall be upon the
party initiating the transportation. All items repaired or replaced thereunder shall be subjected to the
same limited warranty for a period of six (6) months from the day P3 ships the repaired or replaced
product. The warranty does not apply to any product that has been subject to misuse, tampering,
neglect, or accident or as a result of unauthorized alterations or repairs to the product. This warranty
is void if the serial number (if any) has been removed, altered, or defaced. This warranty is in lieu of
all warranties expressed or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose which are expressly excluded or disclaimed. P3 shall not be responsible for
consequential, incidental or other damages, and P3 expressly excludes and disclaims liability for any
damages resulting from the use, operation, improper application, malfunction or defeat of any P3
product covered by this limited warranty. P3's obligation is strictly and exclusively limited to the
replacement or repair of any defective product or component part(s). Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may
not apply to you. P3 does not assume or authorize anyone to assume for it any other obligation
whatsoever. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations may not apply to you. It is the owner/user's responsibility to comply with local, state, or
