Gutter Brush

User Instructions

While every attempt is made to ensure the highest degree of protection in all equipment, we cannot

• Before installation ensure that the gutters are free of any leaves or debris.

• The brushes should run continuously along the whole length of the guttering. Once the

end of one brush has been reached, bend the excess wire at the end of each brush to

form a hook and use this to link two or more brushes together to continue the length.

• If there is excess brush at the end of the gutter cut the excess off with a pair of wire

cutters, making sure to leave approximately 50mm overrun. Untwist the wire to

remove excess filaments, re-twist tightly and bend into a hook shape and secure into

the gutter.

• After fitting, the brushes will not require cleaning for at least 5-7 years. All large objects

such as leaves and sticks will not be allowed to enter the gutter so will perish and break

down.

• After a short while the accumulation of dirt in the bottom of the gutter will be broken

down. The decomposition and passage of rainwater will become a self-cleaning

process.
