Remove the OWC Mercury Accelsior S from the packaging and set it down on a at surface with the SATA port facing up.
Install the 2.5” SATA drive of your choice (see reverse page for detailed instructions including pictures).
Install the OWC Mercury Accelsior S in a compatible PCIe slot and secure it to the computer chassis according to its specications.
Your computer is a static-sensitive device. It is susceptible to invisible damage if not protected during installation.
We recommend proper grounding by using a grounding strap. Make sure to work in a clean, static-free area, and avoid wearing clothing that retains static charges.

OPERATING SYSTEM: OS X® v10.6 and later HARDWARE: Intel-based Mac with an available PCIe slot capable
of supporting an x2 (2-lane) PCIe card. For optimal performance, use a PCIe 2.0 slot running at x4 speeds or greater.
PC REQUIREMENTS
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows® Vista and later
HARDWARE: Any computer with an available PCIe 2.0 or
1.0 slot capable of supporting an x2 (2-lane) PCIe card. For optimal performance, use a PCIe 2.0 slot running at x4 speeds or greater.
SUPPORTED DRIVES
Any 2.5” SATA hard drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD)

Set the OWC Mercury Accelsior S down on a at surface. Make sure the black SATA connector is facing up, as shown.
DRIVE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Slide the SATA connector on the drive into the SATA connector on the OWC Mercury Accelsior S. Make sure the drive is fully seated, as shown.
Holding the drive securely to the OWC Mercury Accelsior S, turn over the OWC Mercury Accelsior S, as shown.
Install the four Phillips screws into the four screw holes to secure the drive to the OWC Mercury Accelsior S, as shown.
