Ÿ L’apparecchio può essere collegato SOLO ad un’uscita

amplificata di un amplificatore, un mixer amplificato o altro dispositivo dotato di tale uscita (ad es. cassa amplificata con uscita ausiliaria amplificata). Per il collegamento si raccomanda l’utilizzo di cavo di potenza adeguata e rispondente alle normative sulla sicurezza.

Ÿ Accendere l’amplificatore collegato all’apparecchio solo

dopo aver connesso ed acceso tutti gli altri componenti dell’impianto di sonorizzazione/registrazione per evitare rumori fastidiosi e talvolta dannosi per gli altoparlanti.

Ÿ La movimentazione dell’apparecchio deve avvenire solo a

cavi scollegati.

Ÿ Per l’installazione utilizzare solo gli accessori dedicati,

progettati appositamente per il sistema o gli accessori standard previsti.

Ÿ Controllare periodicamente la funzionalità meccanica del

prodotto e degli accessori utilizzati.

Ÿ L’apparecchio produce un’elevata pressione sonora che può

danneggiare l’udito se l’ascolto non avviene nelle corrette condizioni di utilizzo.

Ÿ L’apparecchio non deve essere aperto e/o riparato se non

da personale competente.

Ÿ Per qualsiasi esigenza o informazione di natura tecnica

rivolgersi ad OUTLINE o a personale autorizzato.

In order to avoid risks for the user's and other people's safety, as well as annulling the warranty, it is advisable to read the suggestions in this section for correct use of the product. This unit was designed as part of a sound reinforcement or audio recording system. Any use other than that foreseen by the manufacturer is carried out under the sole responsibility of the user.

Ÿ Do not expose the unit to rain. Ÿ Do not use the unit in locations with a high humidity level or

near water.

Ÿ Do not allow any type of liquid or solid object to enter the

unit; should this occur, stop using the unit and contact an authorized assistance centre as soon as possible.

Ÿ The unit must ONLY be connected to the amplified output of

an amplifier, a powered mixer or another unit with this type of output (e.g. a self-powered loudspeaker enclosure with an amplified auxiliary output). A suitable power cable in compliance with current safety norms must be used to connect the unit.

Ÿ The amplifier connected to the unit must only be switched

on after having connected and switched on all the other components of the sound reinforcement/recording system, to avoid annoying noises that can sometimes damage the loudspeakers.

Ÿ The unit must only be moved when the cables are

disconnected.

Ÿ Only dedicated accessories, specifically designed for the

system, or any standard accessories foreseen may be used when installing.

Ÿ The mechanical operation of the product and the

accessories used must be checked periodically.

Ÿ This unit produces high sound pressure levels that can

damage hearing if listened to under incorrect conditions.

Ÿ The unit must only be opened and/or repaired by specialist

staff.

Ÿ For any requirements of a technical nature, contact

OUTLINE or authorized staff.

Ÿ Alto livello di pressione acustica prodotta in riferimento

alle dimensioni.

Ÿ Eccellente affidabilità anche nelle condizioni di utilizzo più gravose. Ÿ Configurazione a 2 vie con crossover interno per il pilotaggio

con un solo canale di un amplificatore. Ciò permette una sonorizzazione di elevata qualità a costi ridotti.

Ÿ Possibilità di pilotaggio in BIAMPLIFICAZIONE utilizzando 2

segnali amplificati per l'ottimizzazione della dinamica dei singoli componenti (si vedano le istruzioni di seguito).

MONO AMPLIFICATION USING THE ON-BOARD PASSIVE CROSSOVER

Questa modalità di amplificazione è quella predefinita nelle impostazioni di fabbrica. Per ogni sistema DVS12P/DVS15P è necessario un singolo ingresso di potenza. La distribuzione della potenza tra la sezione bassi e la sezione alti viene effettuata tramite il circuito di crossover passivo interno.

This is the default amplification mode. Each system requires a single wide range amplified signal. Power is distributed to the low and high sections by means of an on-board passive crossover circuit.

BI-AMPLIFICATION USING THE ON-BOARD PASSIVE CROSSOVER

È possibile pilotare indipendentemente la sezione bassi e la sezione alti del sistema DVS12P/DVS15P utilizzando due ingressi di potenza a larga banda e sfruttando il crossover passivo interno. Rispetto alle impostazioni di fabbrica, è necessario apportare delle modifiche come specificato in seguito. Per accedere al crossover interno, rimuovere il pannello posteriore della cassa acustica.

The low section and high frequency sections of system can be powered separately using two amplified widerange inputs and the on-board passive crossover circuit. Compared with defaults setting, the changes specified below must be made. For access to the on-board crossover, remove the enclosure's rear panel.

A EYE NUT M8X25

Occhiello svasato con filetto M8x25 per una facile sospensione delle casse acustiche utilizzando i punti di sospensione dedicati.

Flaring male eye-bolt M8x25 for easy suspension of loudspeakers by using built-in flying points.

A STAND-ADAPT

Adattatore in acciaio per l'installazione di due casse acustiche su un unico supporto. La distanza tra i due perni è di 420 mm. Il fissaggio dell’adattatore sul supporto è garantito da un volantino con filetto M8.

Steel adaptor which allows installing of two speakers on a single loudspeakers stand. Distance between centres of male attachments is 420 mm. Fixing on speaker stand by M8 knob.

A STAND-2

Supporto da pavimento con treppiede. Struttura in tubolare di alluminio. Altezza regolabile e fissabile con morsetto di nylon. Per facilitare il trasporto il treppiede può essere chiuso.

Floor stand with tripod legs, full aluminium tube structure. Height adjustable and lockable by nylon fixing clamp. To facilitate transport of stand the tripod can be fully closed.

A STAND-M20

Tubo telescopico in alluminio per l’accopiamento di due casse acustiche. Altezza regolabile e fissabile con morsetto di nylon. Viene fissato sul subwoofer (DVS115SW / DVS118SW) mediante il perno filettato M20.

Telescopic aluminium tube to join two loudspeakers. Height adjustable and lockable by nylon fixing clamp. To be fixed on the subs by pivot M20 thread (DVS115SW / DVS118SW).

Staffa per il montaggio a parete regolabile, con braccio di 320 mm e perno da 120 mm per fissare la cassa acustica con una inclinazione variabile a step di 4° mediante un robusto ingranaggio di nylon con sitema di sicurezza. La staffa può essere fissata al muro utilizzando i 4 fori diam. 10 mm sulla piastra da 200x140 mm che consente inoltre di installare un cavo di sicurezza. Massimo carico: 40 kg

Adjustable wall mounting bracket with arm l=320 mm and male attachment h=120 mm to hold speaker with a progressive inclination of 4° through a nylon wheel joint, with a security fixing system. The bracket can be fixed to the wall using the 4 holes diam. 10 mm located on the wall plate 200x140 mm which allows also the fixing of the security wire. Max load: 40 kg

Staffa per il montaggio a parete o soffitto con bracci di 445 mm, elementi laterali di bilanciamento e leve per bloccare la cassa acustica con l’inclinazione desiderata. La staffa può essere fissata al muro o al soffitto con un ancoraggio sicuro mediante le asole sulle due piastre da 250 mm.

Wall-ceiling mounting bracket with arms l=445 mm, side balancing elements and female lever handle attachments to hold speaker with a desired inclination. The bracket can be fixed to the wall or ceiling using secure anchorage system on the slot holes located on the two wall brackets 250 mm.
