ET1200CPp-RS4
Receiver of 4-port Coax to 1-port 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet with PoC
This quick start guide describes how to install and use the 4-port EoC (Ethernet over Coax) receiver with Power
over Coax (PoC). The product is designed for analogue CCTV system upgrade.
Overview
The ET1200CPp-RS4 (receiver) works with the ET1100CPp-T (transmitter) to provide Ethernet Extension of 4
channel 10/100Base-TX over Coaxial cable to 1-port 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet. The maximum coaxial cable
distance is 800m. The product support PoC, hence, no power point is required for the transmitter side and the
connected IP camera if the camera support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The product is good for retrofit of
analogue system by using the existing cable infrastructure.
General
To ensure trouble free transportation and storage, all OT Systems products must be thoroughly inspected, tested
and properly packed before delivery. Check the product upon receipt for any visible damage which may have been
caused during shipment.

Installation
There are two mounting holes in each side of the rear panel. Mount the product on wall with appropriate screws.
Then, push left or right, if the equipment fixed vertically, or push down, if equipment fixed horizontally, to make it
fixed tighter. Installation now is completed.
Setup
1. The EoC receiver is a plug-and-play device. Connect an external AC to DC power adaptor (48VDC output) to
the power connector (2 pin terminal block) according to the polarity shown in the Power Connection section.
Then attach the plug into a standard AC outlet. The PWR LED will then be lit.
2. The READY LED will be lit (ON) when the receiver is ready for data transfer.
3. Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the female BNC connector (COAX DATA) of ET1200CPp-RS4 and the
other end to the transmitter (ET1100CPp-T). If the transmitter and receiver are properly connected and
communicated with each other, the ACT will be lit (ON). The PoC LED will be lit too when the PoC is in use.
4. Connect the Ethernet cable from the NVR or PC or similar equipment to the Ethernet port (10/100/1000M). If
the cable is properly connected, the corresponding LED (100M or 1000M depend on the Ethernet connection)
at the RJ45 port with be lit. If there is data being transferred, the LED will be blinking.
