GETTING STARTED
After charging your BONGO, slide the power switch into the “ON” position. Then, there are two ways to connect:
* Wirelessly with Bluetooth. Connecting with Bluetooth is simple:
! 1.Go to your device Settings and enable Bluetooth. ! 2. Next, search for available bluetooth devices. ! 3. Then, press and hold the Multi-Function button on your BONGO for 6 seconds ! 4. Select “BONGO” and enjoy!
* Using your 3.5 mm Cable:
! Insert 3.5mm plug into the BONGO, and the other end into the device you wish to use.
Tip: BONGO will automatically search for and pair with a previously paired device.
Pairing will automatically occur if the BONGO is powered on and the preset device is in range with bluetooth enabled.
LED INDICATORS
!
Blue:
! *BONGO is on and ready for pairing. ! *Once BONGO is paired, the blue light will flash once every 5 seconds
Red:
! *Red flashing light means the battery is low ! *Red solid light means the battery is charging
Blue & Red:
! *Alternating Blue and Red flashing indicates the device is in pairing mode, and is searching for devices to pair with.
USER INTERFACE AND FUNCTION
Power On
Slide the power toggle button (located on the side) into the “ON” position
Activate Pairing Mode
Hold down the “☐” Multi-Function button for 6 seconds. Speaker will chime, and LED will flash red and blue
Answer Calls
During incoming call, quickly press the “” Multi-Function button.
End Calls
During active call, quickly press the “” Multi-Function button.
Refuse Calls
During incoming call, hold the “” Multi-Function button for 2 seconds.
Voice Dial / SIRI
During standby, hold the “” Multi-Function button for 2 seconds.
Transfer Call between BONGO and Phone
During active call, hold the “” Multi-Function button to transfer call from the BONGO to handset mode on your mobile device.
Volume Up/Down
Quickly press the “+” Volume Up button to increase volume; Quickly press the “” Volume Down button to decrease volume.
Play/Pause Music
Quickly press the “” Multi-Function button.
Next/Last Track
To skip to the next track, hold the “+” Volume Up button for 3 seconds. To skip to the previous track, hold the “” Volume Down button for 3 seconds.
CHARGING
When BONGO has a low battery, the red LED will flash and an alert will sound every 30 seconds. This will last for 5-10 minutes before BONGO shuts off on it’s own.
Charge BONGO with any micro-USB cable. While BONGO is charging the red LED will be solid red. The charge is complete when the red light turns off. A full charge may take 2.5-3.5 hours.

Tip: BONGO may reset if connected to the charging cable while in use. IF this occurs, power BONGO “OFF/ ON” and reconnect. You can now use BONGO and charge simultaneously.
Tip: When the battery is full, BONGO will automatically stop charging to prevent overcharging the battery. Even so, disconnecting the charging cable once the battery is full may help preserve battery life.
