Select a
A STATIONARY DIE-HEAD Machine is best suited to this work because only
threading, cutting-off and reaming.
In a STATIONARY DIE-HEAD Machine the work is held and revolved in a gripping chuck.
Select a REVOLVING DIE-HEAD Machine when the job is primarily
pies or if pipe must be threaded after bending. A REVOLVING DIE-HEAD Machine is highly desirable for production
threading of these classes
dropped into or removed from the work holder WITHOUT STOPPING THE MACHINE.
In a REVOLVING DIE-HEAD Machine the work is held stationary in a quick-acting, open-type vise. It should be
remembered that, while this type of machine offers maximum production possibilities in threading, with the exception of
the No. 326, it does not cut-off.
