LIDLOCK™ HELMET ATTACHMENT

Ospr ey’s LidLock™ easily and se curely carries bicycle helmets.
A Pull the LidLock™ att achment a way from t he pack.
B Tw ist the LidLock™ and pa ss it through the bot tom of the helme t vent.
Turn the L idLock™ back to its horizontal pos ition to lock the helmet in place.
C Adjus t the LidLock™ tension with the cord loop on the r ight outs ide panel
of the pack .
D Re verse to r emove helmet .
BLINKER LIGHT ATTACHMENT

The blinker light attachmen t strap found
near the base of the fr ont panel of the pack
allows for quick light attachment for high
visibility in the dark.
INTEGRATED RAINCOVER

The integrated, removable high visibility raincover provides pack protection
in adverse conditions.
A Loca te the raincov er icon and unzip the raincover compartment.
B Pull t he rainco ver from the compar tment and slip it over the top and
bot tom o f pack using t he peripheral elastic to hold i t in place.
C Re verse this process to r eturn raincover to compar tment.
D To remove the raincov er altoge ther, unfasten the t oggle from the cord
loop and remove .

HYDRATION

The S yncro 20, 15 and 10 have a s ewn-in hydration sle eve loca ted on the inside
of the back panel which can hold up to a 3L re ser voir. The backp anel hydr ation exit
port is centered allow ing routing to the right or left side o f the harne ss. Elas ticized
routing s traps on the pack’s harne ss hold the res ervoir hose in place.

The main compar tment of t he Syncr o 3 is designed to accep t up to a 2.5L Hydr aulics™
LT Reserv oir and features an in tegrated hy dration h anger and hose exit port.

PACK / RESERVOIR MAINTENANCE
Your Osprey pack is an extremely durable product and is built for years of use.
However, some basic pack maintenance will help ensure your pack lasts a lifetime.
OSPREY PACKS
STANDARD MAINTENANCE
+ Aft er each trip be sure to clean out your pac k thoroughly.
+ Clean the zippers regularly using mild soap, warm water and soft brush. This will
help keep them in proper working condition.
+ If your pack is wet, hang it t o dry out of direct sunligh t.
+ Loosen all the straps.
+ Wash y our pack if dirt , sweat , salt and stains hav e worked t heir w ay in to fabrics,
webbing or mesh.

WASHIN G YOUR PACK
A Empty the pack including any food , dirt or spilled content s.
B I f your pack has a removable harne ss and hipbelt , remove t hem from t he pack bo dy.
C Do NO T wash your pack in a washing machine. Clean your pack and c omponents
in a bat htub or lar ge sink using a mild de ter gent and warm wa ter.
D Agit ate the pack gentl y. Scr ub the inside and outs ide of all compar tments
including the poc kets with a sof t bru sh.
E Clean the zippers using a mild soap, warm w ater and a soft brush. Flush w ater
and soap thr ough the buckle s. Keeping dir t and debris out of the zipper s and
buckles will help keep them in proper working condition.
F Drain th e dir ty w ater from the bathtub or sink and re fill with cool clean non-
soap y water. Rinse the pack thor oughly. Repeat t his s tep a s necces sar y.
G Hang y our pack to dry outs ide or in a well v entilat ed ar ea, out of direct sunlight.
WHEELED TRAVEL LUGGAGE

A Af ter each trip, empty the pack including any food, dirt or spilled contents.
B Clean the zipper s regularly using mild soap, warm wa ter and soft brush. This will
help keep them in proper working condition.
C Wipe the exterior of the cha ssi s with a damp cloth or sponge.
D Clean t he pack fabric by scr ubbing st ains and dir t with warm wa ter, mild
detergent and a sof t brush or sponge.
E Us e a wet tow el with clean non-s oapy wat er to wipe away an y soap residue on
the pack.
F Hang your pack t o dr y out side or in a well ventila ted area, out of dir ect sunlight .
RECOMMENDED CLEA NING PRODUCTS
Ospr ey recommends Nik wax® pro ducts for pack care. Be s ure t o read
label directions carefully befor e appl ying any produc t to your pack.
Tech Wash® - Use this with warm water for w ashing and cleaning your
packs or luggage.
Tent & Gear Solar P roof® - Use this spray-on product to prote ct your packs f rom
UV ex posure and to improve wa ter r epellenc y.
OSPREY RESERVOIRS
RESERVOIR STANDARD MAINTENANCE
+ Our r eserv oir’s anti-micr obial formula prev ents mos t mold and bac teria grow th.
+ Rinsing out your reservoir a fter ea ch use should keep your res ervoir f resh,
espe cially when using sugar y drink mixe s.
+ Periodically use Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Tablets to clean your reservoir.
+ Iodine or other purif ying tablets used in your res ervoir w ill no t affect the qualit y
of your reser voir. However these tablets may s tain the r eserv oir over time.
+ Freezing your r eserv oir will not effect t he qualit y of the res er voir. Howe ver i f the
reservoir is filled with water, be a war e that wat er ex pands when it freezes and
can damage y our reservoir if it is over filled.
+ Do NOT pour boiling water into the reservoir. This can damage the res er voir and
will void your warranty.

CLE ANING YOUR RESE RVOIR
A Fill reser voir with war m water. Do no t use bleach or boiling wa ter.
B Add one cleaning t able t to reser voir and close t he cap.
C Let tablet dissolve for 5 minutes wi th the reser voir laying on its back.
D Shake t he reservoir for 30 seconds to mi x and spread the solution.
E Pinch the bit e valve and s queeze the reser voir to remove air and fill the
reservoir hose and bite val ve with solut ion.
F Le t the reserv oir sit for 15 minute s and then pour out s olution.
G Rins e the r eservoir and tube w ith clean cool water.
H Hang your res ervoir to dry in a well ventilated area.
DEEP C LEANIN G YOUR RESER VOIR
1 Rinse out the r ese rv oir and fill it with warm wat er and a mild dish detergent.
Do not use bleach or boiling water.
2 Wi th the large cle aning brush fr om Ospre y's H ydr aulics™ Cleaning Kit s crub the
interior of the reservoir.
3 Remove the ho se from the reser voir and the bite valve fr om the hose and use
the sm all br ush from Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Kit to scrub t he interior of
the hose.
4 Remove the silicone bite val ve cover and cle an it and the bite valve wi th warm
soapy water.
5 Rinse the interior and exterior of th e reser voir, hose and bite valve part s with
cool clean w ater.
6 Le t the hose and bit e valve dr y in a well-ventilat ed area.
7 Ins ert Osprey 's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Ki t dr ying rack into the reserv oir and
hang to dry in a well ventila ted area.
