lowering the position o f the load to a w oman's center of gravity. + Padding is adde d to varying point s on the hipbelt and harness in order to suppor t carrying a h eav y load. + The shoulder harness is designed wit h dif ferent c ur ves to creat e an ana tomical fit for a woman's neck,
shoulders and chest. + The hipbelt is narr ower in height so it doe sn't dig into the ribs or upper thighs wh en scrambling , climbing
or biking. + Women's hips are c onically s haped with a lar ger diff erence between the waist and hip measurements.
The hipbel ts are shaped and angled to accommodate this di ff erence w hich allow s a more comfor table
load transfer and suppor t.

INTEGRATED RAINCOVER

The integrated, removable raincover provides pack protection in adverse conditions.
A Locate the r aincover icon near the base of the pac k and unzip the raincover
compartment.
B Pull the raincover from the compar tment and s lip it over t he top and bottom
of pac k using the peripheral elastic to hold it in place.
C Rev ers e this proc ess to return rain cover to compart ment.
D To remove the raincover altogether, un fasten the toggle f rom the cord loop
and remove.

TOOL ATTACHMENT

The du al ice tool loops and clo ve hitch s tyle bungee tie-o ffs provide secure tool attachment and transport.
A Slide the t ool shaft thr ough the top o f the ice tool loop and flip t he shaft up
towards the top of the pack.
B Loosen the bunge e cord lock and route t he tool handle thr ough the bungee.
Tigh ten the cord loc k nesting i t into the Y-Clip to s ecure the tool into place .
C Rev ers e to remov e.
INTERNAL RESERVOIR SLEEVE

An internal reservoir sleev e is located in the main body of the pack allowing easy loading/unloading of a hydrat ion reservoir. Placing y our reser voir inside the slee ve helps provide proper weight distribution when carrying your pack.

STOW-ON-THE-GO™ TREKKING POLE ATTACHMENT

Osprey's Stow-on-the-Go att tach and carr y trekk ing poles while wearing a pack.
A Adjus t the trek king poles to their minimum lengt h.
B Loca te the elas ticized loop on t he lower le ft side of p ack. While pulling the loop
out from the pac k, inser t the bask et end of the trekking poles in to the loop.
C On the lef t harness str ap locate the trek king pole ic on. Pull up on the cord to
open, plac e pole handle s in the loop and tigh ten with t he cord loc k to se cure.
D Reverse these steps t o remove t he trekk ing poles.

INSIDEOUT™ COMPRESSION STR APS

Osprey’s InsideOut secure loads in t he dual str etch mesh side pockets. To rou te the InsideOu t compression straps:
A Locate the duck bill buckle at the top and side of ea ch side pock et and unthread
the webbing.
B Route the webbing by positioning the slider buckle inside or out side of the side
pock et and rev erse the process .

SLEEPING BAG COMPARTMENT

A lower zippere d sleeping bag compar tment wi th a drop down divider pro vides easy access to internal con tents and allows you to use your pack w ith one compar tment or tw o. To drop do wn the internal divider, unthread the t wo toggle s attached to the divider from t he cord loops sewn along the backpanel inside the main compartment.

PACK / RESERVOIR MAINTENANCE
Your Osprey pack is an extremely durable product and is built for years of use.
However, some basic pack maintenance will help ensure your pack lasts a lifetime.
OSPREY PACKS
STANDARD MAINTENANCE
+ Af ter each trip be sure t o clean out your pack thoroughly.
+ Clean the zippers regularly using mild so ap, warm water and soft brush. This will
help keep them in proper working condition.
+ If your pack is we t, hang it t o dry out of direct sunlight.
+ Loosen all the straps.
+ Wash y our pa ck if dirt , sweat , salt and stains hav e worked t heir w ay in to fabrics,
webbing or mesh.

WASHIN G YOUR PACK
A Empty the pack including any food, dirt or spilled contents.
B If your pack has a r emovable har ness and hip belt, remov e them from the p ack bod y.
C Do NO T wash your pack in a washing machine. Clean your pack and c omponents
in a bat htub or lar ge sink using a mild de ter gent and warm wa ter.
D A git ate the pack gen tly. Scrub the inside and ou tside of all compar tments
including the poc kets with a sof t bru sh.
E Clean the zippers using a mild soap , war m water an d a sof t brush. F lush water
and soap thr ough the buckle s. Keeping dir t and debris out of the zipper s and buckles will help keep them in proper working condition.
F Drain the dirt y water fr om the bat htub or sink and refill wit h cool clean non-
soap y water. Rinse the pack thor oughly. Repeat t his s tep a s necces sar y.
G Hang y our pa ck to dry outs ide or in a well v entilat ed ar ea, out of direct sunlight.
WHEELED TRAVEL LUGGAGE

A After each trip, empty the pack inc luding any f ood, dir t or spilled c ont ent s.
B Clean the zipper s regularly using mild soap, warm wa ter and soft brush. This will
help keep them in proper working condition.
C Wip e the exterior of the cha ssis with a damp cloth or sponge.
D Clean the pack fabr ic by scrubbing s tains and dirt with warm water, mild
detergent and a sof t brush or sponge.
E Use a wet to wel with clean non-soap y water to w ipe away any soap residue on
the pack.
F Hang your pack to dr y outside or in a well ventilated area, out of direct sunligh t.
RECOMMENDED CLEA NING PRODUCTS
Ospr ey recommends Nik wax® pro ducts for pack care. Be s ure t o read label directions carefully befor e appl ying any produc t to your pack.
Tech Wash® - Use this with warm water for w ashing and cleaning your packs or luggage.
Tent & Gear Solar P roof® - Use this spray-on product to prote ct your packs f rom UV ex posure and to improve wa ter r epellenc y.
OSPREY RESERVOIRS
RESERVOIR STANDARD MAINTENANCE
+ Our r eserv oir’s anti-micr obial formula prev ents mos t mold and bac teria grow th.
+ Rinsing out your reservoir a fter eac h use should keep your r eservoir fr esh,
espe cially when using sugar y drink mixe s.
+ Periodically use Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Tablets to clean your reservoir.
+ Iodine or other purif ying tablet s used in your reser voir will no t affect the qualit y
of your reser voir. However these tablets may s tain the r eserv oir over time.
+ Freezing your r eserv oir will not effect t he qualit y of the res er voir. Howe ver i f the
reservoir is filled with water, be a war e that wat er ex pands when it freezes and can damage y our reservoir if it is over filled.
+ Do NOT pour boiling water into the reservoir. This can damage the res ervoir and
will void your warranty.

CLE ANING YOUR RESE RVOIR
A Fill r eservoir w ith warm wat er. Do not use bleach or boiling water.
B Add one cleaning t able t to reser voir and close t he cap.
C Let tablet dissolve for 5 minutes wi th the res er voir laying on its back.
D Shake the reserv oir for 30 seconds to mix and spread the solu tion.
E Pinch the bite valv e and squeeze the res er voir to remove air and fill the
reservoir hose and bite val ve with solut ion.
F Let t he re servoir sit f or 15 minut es and then pour out solu tion.
G Rins e the r eservoir and tube w ith clean c ool water.
H Hang your reser voir to dr y in a well ven tilated area.
DEEP C LEANIN G YOUR RESER VOIR
1 Rinse out the r eserv oir and fill it w ith warm wat er and a mild dish detergent.
Do not use bleach or boiling water.
2 Wi th the large cle aning brush fr om Ospre y's H ydr aulics™ Cleaning Kit s crub the
interior of the reservoir.
3 Remove the ho se from the reser voir and the bite valve fr om the hose and use
the sm all br ush from Osprey's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Kit to scrub t he interior of the hose.
4 Remove the silicone bite valve cover and clean it and the bit e valve wi th warm
soapy water.
5 Rinse the in ter ior and ext erior of t he re ser voir, hose and bite valve parts wi th
cool clean w ater.
6 Le t the hose and bit e valve dr y in a well-ventilat ed ar ea.
7 Ins ert Osprey 's Hydraulics™ Cleaning Ki t drying r ack into the re ser voir and
hang to dry in a well ventila ted area.
