The harne ss straps should wrap fully around your shoulder s with no gaps
bet ween the pack and your back . The padded par t of the harnes s straps
should end 1"/2.5 cm- 2"/5 cm below the armpits and the sternum strap
adjus ted to approximat ely 2"/5 cm below the collarbone.

All Kamber/Kres ta packs f eature a s towable h elmet car ry system.
On the 32L/30L/22L /20L, the helmet c arry is stowed in a hook and loop
pock et on the bac kpanel. Remove the helmet carr y and stre tch it over your
helme t, then secur e the plastic hooks t o the cord loops lo cated where t he
harness straps connect to the backpanel.
On the 42L/40L the helmet c arry is stor ed in the toplid of the pack jus t
abov e the Osprey logo. Open the hook and loop pocket, str etch the helme t
carry over y our helmet , and secur e the plastic clips to the t wo cord loops
loca ted on either side of the toplid.
INSULATED HYDRATION

An internal sewn-in hy dration sleeve with r ese rv oir
hange r and a fully insulate d, dual-zippered har nes s
router with a hypo-allergenic s tretch garage pr ovides
ice-free hydration.

The K amber 42L /K resta 4 0L feature a scra tch f ree
fleece lined goggle pocke t located in the t op lid. The
Kamber 32L/2 2L and Kresta 30L /20L als o fea ture a
scratch-fr ee fleece lined pock et at the top of
the pack. These pocke ts ar e perfect for goggles,
sunglasses and other fragile gear.
ERGOPULL™ HIPBELT
42L / 40L / 3 2L / 30L / 22L / 20L
All Kamber/Kres ta Serie s packs use our exclusive
ErgoPull™ hipbelt de sign. To operate t he ErgoPull™,
loosen the webbing and connect the center buckle.
Then, grasp the loose ends of the webbing on either
side, and pull in and across with both hands , mak ing
sure the buckle is centered.
LOWER COMPRESSION STRAPS

The lo wer side compression straps allow you to
str eamline your pack when not filling i t to capaci ty,
ensuring a s table car ry. Simpl y load your pack and

Extra large J-zip front panel access t o a dedicated

TUCKAWAY ICE TOOL ATTACHMENT

The tuckawa y ice t ool attachment loops and bungee
tieo ffs provide secure tool attachment.
A Slide the tool shaft through the top of the ice tool loop
and flip t he shaft up toward the t op of t he pack.
B Loosen the bungee cord lock and r oute the tool handle
through the bungee. T ighten the cor d lock nesting it
into t he Y-clip to secure the tool into place.

TOP LOAD ACCESS

The K amber 42 and K resta 4 0 featur e both backpanel
access as well a s top load acces s to the main pack
body for ea sy lo ading and quick acces s to your gear.

ROPE COMPRESSION STR AP
42L / 40L
An integr ated rope compres sion strap on th e underside of the top poc ket allows
for stable, se cure rope carry.
To use:
1 Unbuckle the t wo top pocket r etention st rap s and flip back the top pocke t
to expose the rope compression strap.
2 With the pack full , loosen the rope strap and plac e the coiled r ope through
the compress ion strap and tight en by pulling the s trap.
3 With t he rope draped over the main pack body, r econnec t the top poc ket and
cinch the top pocket ret ention straps. A dditionally, the side A-fr ame carr y/
compres sion straps can be ut ilized to secure the ends o f the coiled rope
when skis are not being carried.

The toplid of the Kamber 42L and Kres ta 40L is remov able for trips that require
less gear or on hut-based day excur sions. To rem ove the toplid de tach the t wo
buck les and unthread the webbing from the ten sion lock. Once removed, the

Diagonal sk i carry u tilizes one side of the bot tom
front panel webbing and secures on the opposite
side of the top fr ont panel w ebbing.
1 Loosen lower webbing v ia the slider buck le, slip
ski t ails into position beneath t he reinforced
area of the str ap and re-tension strap securely.
2 Unclip the top carr y straps via the
glove-friendly buckle beneath the protective
fabr ic loop, place upper portion of s ki benea th
the reinf orced ar ea of the opposite s trap and
reattach the buckle.
3 Use the c am-lock ing slider buckle and w ebbing
on the side of the pa ck to t ension the skis int o
place for stable car ry. Reverse to remove skis
from the pack.

Reinforced hipbelt wings allow yo u to carr y your
snowboard between your back and the backpanel
of the pack t o pre vent damage fr om sharp edges .
1 Remove t he pack and place it on the ground
with the foam backpanel surface facing up
2 Slide your snowboard through the harness
str aps w ith the base surf ace f acing up (yo ur
bindings should face the ground) until it the
middle of the snowboard lines up w ith the
middle of the pack’s backpanel
3 Lift the pack fr om the ground, taking car e to
keep t he snowboard b alanced so tha t it does
not slip out of the harness str aps .
4 Pu t the pack on and buckle the st ernum and
hipbelt straps to complete t he process
5 To reverse the process, remov e your pack and
set it on the ground, take care t o keep your
snow board balance d so th at it does not slip
out from the har nes s straps , and slide the
snow board out.
