HARNESS SIZING
A Completely loosen the pack's hipbelt s traps, harness s traps and load lifters .
B Load the pack with 10-20lbs/4-9kg of gear.
C Put on the pa ck ensuring the hipbelt is centered and rest ing over the user's
hipbones. The hipbel t padding should si t half abov e and half below the hipbone.
Buck le the hipbelt and t ighten the hipbelt straps.
D Tighten the shoulder harne ss straps by pulling them down and back. A djust and
buck le the sternum str ap 2"/5cm below the collarbone. T ighten the load lif ts to
transf er the weight of f of the shoulders.
HARNESS FIT
The harne ss straps should wrap fully around your shoulder s with no gaps
bet ween the pack and back. The padded part of the harne ss s traps should
end 1"/2.5cm- 2"/5cm below t he armpits and t he sternum strap adjus ted to
approxim ate ly 2"/5cm below the collarbone.
E Find the h arness y oke or where the harness str aps come toget her near the user 's
neck . The yoke s hould be 2"/5cm below the C7 vert ebra. The C7 vertebra can be
loca ted b y tilting t he head dow n and finding the bone that protr udes at the b ase
of the neck .
F Make n ote of how far the yok e is fr om the C7 vertebra. Bas ed on this
meas urement, th e tor so can be adjust ed to t he desired 2"/5cm.

STOW-ON-THE-GO™ TREKKING POLE ATTACHMENT
Ospr ey 's Stow-on the-Go™ tr ekking pole at tachmen t is designed to
quick ly atta ch and c arry tr ekking poles while wear ing a pack.
A Locate the elastici zed loop on the lower le ft side of pack . While
pulling the loop out from the pack , insert t he baske t end of the
trekking poles into the loop.
B On the le ft harne ss strap locate the tr ekking pole icon. Pull up on
the cord to open, plac e pole handles in the loop and tighten wit h
the cord lock to secure.
C Rev ers e the se steps to remove the trek king poles.
