HARNESS FIT
The harne ss s traps should w rap f ully around your shoulders wi th no gaps
bet ween the p ack and back. The padded part o f the harness s traps should
end 1"/2.5cm- 2"/5cm below t he ar mpits and the ster num strap adjusted to
approxim ately 2"/5cm below t he collarbone .

HARNESS SIZING
A Comple tel y loosen the pack's hipbelt str aps, harness s traps and load li ft ers.
B Load the p ack w ith 10-20lb s/4-9kg o f gear.
C Put on the p ack ensur ing the hipbelt is center ed and res ting over t he user's
hipbones. The hipbelt padding should sit half above and hal f belo w the hipbone.
Buck le the hipbelt and t ighten the hipbelt straps.
D Tighten the shoulder harn ess str aps b y pulling them down and b ack . Adjust and
buck le the sternum strap 2"/5cm below t he collar bone. T ighten the load lif ts to
transf er the weight off of the shoulders .
E Find the harness yoke or where the harnes s straps come t oge ther near t he user's
neck . The yoke s hould be 2"/5cm below the C7 vertebr a. The C7 vert ebra can be
loca ted b y tilting t he head down and f inding the bone that pr otrude s at the base
of the neck .

F Make note o f how f ar the yoke is fr om the C7 vert ebra. Bas ed on t his
meas urement, the tor so can be adju sted to t he desired 2"/5cm.

INTERCHANGEABLE HIPBELT & HARNESS
Features interchangeable hipbelt s to accommodate differences in bod y propor tions and ensur e
perfec t fit.
To remov e the hipbel t:
1 Unclip t he buckle behind the zippered hipbel t pocket . Repeat on the opposite side.
2 Remov e the rigid hipbel t wing from the hipbelt. Repeat on the opposite side
3 Remov e the hipbel t from behind the AntiGr avity™ mesh lumbar panel
4 Reverse inst ructions to r eins tall new hipbel t.

Ospr ey 's St ow- on the-Go™ trek king pole a tt achment i s designed to quickl y attach
and carr y trekk ing poles while wearing a pack.
A Locate the ela sticiz ed loop on the lower left side of pack . While pulling the loop
out from the pac k, insert the bas ket end of the trek king pole s int o the loop.
B On the lef t harnes s strap lo cate the trekking pole icon. Pull up on the cor d to
open, plac e pole handles in the loop and tighten with
the cord lock to s ecure.
C Reverse t hes e steps to remove t he tr ekking poles.

InsideOu t™ Compr ession s traps compress pack when no t full to ens ure
stable carr y and secur e items in side poc kets. T hey can be r outed inside or
outside o f the side mesh poc kets:
A Locat e duckbill buckle at the top and side of each side pocket and
unthread the webbing.
B Route webbing by positioning the slider buck le inside or outs ide of the
side pocket and r everse the pr ocess to reattach webbing.

REMO VABL E TOP LID AND D AYLID™ DAYPA CK

To remove top lid, unclip t he two buckle s on the front of the pack and the buc kle s on
either side of the load lif ter straps and unthread webbing f rom keeper loop s.
To convert the top lid in to the Day Lid™ unzip the U-shape zipp ere d
compartmen t and pull out harness s traps. Attach the buckle on the end of
the Da yLid™ har ness straps to buc kles adjacent to st andard top lid buckles.
Revers e the process to return to nor mal top lid function and reattach.
