INSTALLATION AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
The OSO MINI can be fitted vertically or horizontally to suit the particular application. It is however strongly recommended to fit the OSO Mini in
a horizontal position as this will maximize the available hot water volume. If this is not possible the cylinder will operate in a vertical orientation.
For vertical mounting rotate the bracket on the back of the cylinder through 180°. For horizontal mounting use the semi-circular bracket provided.
Fitting:
Vertically
Hanging on the wall with one solid screw or standing on
the floor.
Horizontally
On the wall with enclosed bracket or on the floor.
Warning: Cold and hot water connections must be
pointing up.
Horizontally gives more hot water.
Water connections
Cold inlet and hot outlet are 15 mm.
The water heater can be connected directly to a mains
cold water supply or to a cistern tank, provided that:
a) There is no reverse flow restriction
b) The cold water supply does not exceed 6 bar
c) The hot water that has expanded back down the cold
feed pipe cannot enter a supply pipe to which a cold
draw-off is connected.

Electrical connection
The mains cable is factory fitted.
The electrical connection to the immersion heater must
conform to current IEE wiring regulations. The unit
must be permanently connected to the electrical supply
through a double pole linked switch with a minimum
break capacity of 13 amps. All internal wiring is factory
mounted. The immersion heater has a working thermo
stat adjustable between 30°C and 60°C.
A sefety cut-out is also incorporated within the thermo
stat and will operate at 85°C ± 3°C. Should this happen,
press the reset button.

IMPORTANT: Before resetting the safety cut-out or altering the thermostat setting, isolate electrical supply to the unit prior to removal of
the lid. Ensure the lid is replaced correctly and the retaining screws are fitted. The retaining screws are at the front and back of the cover. If
higher temperatures are required, thermostat operating between 45°C and 75°C are available from OSO Hotwater (UK) Ltd. Part No. 80020.
