The OSD PA90 70V/100V Commerc ial Amplifier has 7 inputs :
MIC 1, MIC 2, MIC 3, AUX 1, AUX 2, AUX 3, and T EL input.
Each of the MIC inputs and AUX inputs can be adjusted the
input gain using the corresp onding con trol knob on the fron t
panel.
Output A dju stm ent
The OS D PA90 Commercial Amplifier a llows you to adjust the
output volum e, Treble and Bass by the corres ponding control
knob on the front pan el. There is a LED Met er to ind icate the
output leve l located above the POWE R pushbutton.
The OSD PA90 also has protect function. When it is short
circuit, or o ver-heating, or ove rload, t his function will be
automatic ally switched on, then the prod uct will mute and the
RED PROTECT LED indicator w ill illuminate.
The OSD PA90 als o has CHI ME and ALARM functio ns. The
ALARM has the top priority and CHIME is second over a ll the
inputs. W hen pr essing CHIME button, all inputs wi ll be
temporari ly mute and the chime sound will come out. When
pressing ALE button , you wil l start t he alarm function, t he
alarm will ke ep on r inging and will n ot automat ically sto p until
you p ress the ALE but ton again. All inp uts will b e mute
including t he CHIME tone when alarm f unction is on.

There is a tot al of 7 inputs o n the rear panel of the PA90
Commercia l Amp lifier including 3 MIC in puts, 3 AUX inputs,
and 1 TEL input wi th input gain adjustme nt.
The MIC inputs a re using balanced XLR connectors. Each MIC
input have a Lin e/Mic level DIP switch (Switch 1) and a 24V
Phantom Power Supply On/Off DI P switch (Switch 2). If the
Line/Mic DIP swi tch is swi tch ed down, t he correspond ing MIC
input i s set to accept Mic level sign al input, if the Line/Mic DIP
switch is swit che d up, the cor responding MIC input is set to

DIP switch is swi tched d own , it means the cor res ponding MIC
input will provide a 24V phantom power to the microphone, if
the Phantom P ower Supply DIP Switch is switched up, t he
correspon ding MIC input will not provide phantom power to
microphon e.
The AUX inputs are using RCA connectors. Each gr oup of AUX
input has “L ” a nd “R” as l eft chan nel and rig ht channel inputs
respectiv ely.
The TEL inpu t is using 3 pin terminal block. It allows you to
connect t elephone signal as an input of PA 90. T he TEL input
gain can be adj ust ed by the screwdriver adjust ment knob
labeled as “G ain” beside the termin al block.
The PA90 commercial amplifie r also has 1 pair of RCA
connector s used as “INSERT” in and out. The INSERT IN
connector allows to connect an external audio source to the
unit. The INSERT OUT con nector allows to l oop the input
sources of PA90 out to other dev ices.
NOTE: Th e MIC 1 Input has priori ty ov er th e oth er in puts.
When the MIC 1 Input si gnal is present, the PA90 will
automatic ally mute other inputs an d only MIC 1 Input is
available t o output.

The OSD PA90 out put module, includi ng (),
24V DC ba ck up power s upply, 8 ohm output, 70V outp ut and
100V output , is using the screw termi nal connectors.
If you will use 8 ohm output , connec t the speaker’s positive
terminal to t he am plifier’s “8Ω” t erminal a nd co nnect the
speaker’s negativ e ter min al to the amplif ier ’s “C OM” t erminal.
If you will use 70V output, co nne ct the sp eak er’s po sitive
terminal to the am pli fie r’s “70V” te rminal and connect the
speaker’s negativ e ter min al to the amplif ier ’s “C OM” t erminal.
If yo u will use 100V out put , connect t he spe ake r’s p ositive
terminal to t he am pli fier’s “100V” ter min al an d connect the
speaker’s negativ e ter min al to the amplif ier ’s “C OM” t erminal.
The PPT con nec tors all ow you to connect the OSD PA90 to
external d evi ces to a ctivate the “Pu sh To Talk” funct ion . Wh en
this fu nction i s swi tch ed on , all inputs w ill b e mut e and you c an
use MIC 1 to make b roa dca sting or annou nce men t.
The 24V DC connecto rs a llow you to connect e xte rnal bac k up
power sup ply to OSD PA90 . It help s you t h use O SD PA90 in
applicati ons that must cont inu e to opera te in case of a po wer
failure or i n mobile app lications w here 115V o r 230V AC power
is not availa ble .

In this configuration, th e 8 ohm speak ers are connect ed to the
“8Ω” and “COM” terminals. The output of PA90 will then d eliver
the rated output p ower into an 8 ohm load. If you want to
connect m ultiple speak ers to PA90's 8 o hm output, the
speakers should be conn ected in series/para lle l-arrangement
to mak e the combined impedance 8 o hm or higher. Whe n
connectin g speakers, sp eakers’ positive terminal shoul d be
connected to the “ 8Ω” t erm ina l and speakers’ negative
terminal sho uld be connect ed to “CO M” ter min al for in-p has e

In this conf iguration, a DC 24V pow er sup ply is connect ed to

to the “7 0V” and “COM” terminals. The output of PA90 wi ll then

INSTALL U NIT IN RACK
In this configuration , the OSD PA90 is set to install in a 19"
rack. When m ount it I a rack, make sure th e mounti ng brackets
are well fixe d by the scre ws and remove the 4 feet from the
bottom of the u nit.
CONNECTIN G 100 V CON STANT V OLTAGE SPEA KER S
In t his con figurat ion, th e 100V cons tant sp eakers ar e
connected to the “100V” and “COM” terminals. The out put of
PA90 will then deliver the rat ed outpu t power to the 1 00V
speakers. Multiple 100V speak ers should be connec ted in
pa rallel. When conn ectin g speak ers, sp eakers’ posit ive
terminal should be connecte d t o t he “100V” termi nal a nd
speakers’ negat ive t erminal shou ld be conne cte d to “COM”
terminal fo r in- pha se connectio n.
