Keep the packing materials, you may need it to
transport the unit in the future.

READ THIS BEFORE OPERATING YOUR UNIT
• Please read this manual carefully, to assure
proper operation and the best possible performa nce .
• Swit ch off the unit before co nnecti ng or dis-
conne cting any i nput or output w ire.
• Do no t touch the inner pins o f rear-pa nel
conne ctors, electros tatic discha rge may caus e
permanent damage to the unit.
• Choose the installation location for the unit ca-
refully. Avo id plac ing i t in di rec t sunli ght or
clos e to a source of heat . Avoid also locations
subjec t to vibrat ion and exc ess ive dust, heat ,
cold or moisture.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do
not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
• Do not use force when operating switches,
knobs and other controls.
• Do not open the chassis or attempt to make
repai rs by y ourse lf, as t his may result in damage t o the unit o r elec trica l shock. If a forei gn
objec t should get i nto the unit, contact your
local dealer.
• Whe n planning not t o use the unit for a long
period of time, it is advisable to disconnect the
power plug from t he wall outlet.
• The po wer switch do es not disc onnec t the
complete unit from the main line.
• To prevent li ghtning da mage, di sco nnect the
power plug when there is an electrical storm.
• Whe n moving t he unit , be s ure to first dis con-
nect the power plug a nd all wi res connec ted
from the unit to other equipment.
• When disconnecting the power plug from the
wall outlet, always pul l directly on the plug, ne ver pull the cord itse lf.
• Do not attempt to clean this unit with water or
chemical solvents, as this may damage the
unit or the fi nish. Use a clea n, dry cloth.
• Keep this manual in a safe place for future re-
ference.

1. MAIN POWER INDICATOR
Lights red when the unit is switched on and
operating.
Blinks red duri ng the self -test proce dure
(approximately 2 seconds) after switching on
the unit .
Indica tor light is of f when the unit is switche d
off.
