INTRODUCTION
Thank you for your purchase of the ORION XC Component Loudspeaker system. These speakers offer an incredible value of performance. Copolymer
cone midranges use an oversized voice coil for increased power handling and
performance. The computer optimized crossover perfectly matches the
midrange and tweeter for a seamless response. The passive crossover also
offers an optical protection circuit for the tweeter to protect it from potentially
damaging signals. The 1” copolymer dome tweeter offers a smooth extended
frequency response and incorporates flush, surface and angle mounting
hardware for optimal sonic as well as cosmetic results. The midranges are
available in standard 5-1/4” and 6-1/2” sizes to fit most applications.

PRACTICE SAFE SOUND™
Continuous exposure to sound pressure levels over 100dB may cause permanent
hearing loss. High powered automotive sound systems can generate sound
pressure levels in excess of 130dB. When playing you system at high levels,
please use hearing protection and prevent long term exposure.

Step 4: Remove crossover and pre-drill mounting holes using a 1/8” drill bit.
WARNING: Gas tanks, fuel lines, brake lines and electrical wires have
a nasty habit of hiding where you least expect. CHECK BEFORE YOU
DRILL!
Step 5: Mount the crossover using the supplied #8 screws.
Step 6: Connect the wires. Make sure the speaker wires for the midrange
go to the woofer output and the tweeter to the tweeter output. Be
sure to observe the correct polarity. Changing the polarity may be
necessary for optimum sound quality.
Step 7: Re-install the crossover cover.
