The RS-422/485 repeater booststhe RS-422/485 signalsto extend the
reach distanceup to 4000ft (1200m) andincrease the maximumnumber of connected
nodes upto 128. With a specialcircuitry, is ableto automatically detect
the dataflow and switchthe direction ofthe data linesaccordingly. “Autobaud rate
detector” enables to automaticallyconfigure RS-422/485 signalsto any
baud ratewithout external switchsetting.
The converter isan intelligent, stackableexpansion
module thatconnects to PCUSB port orUSB Hub viathe Universal SerialBus(USB)
port, providingone High-Speed RS-232/RS-422or RS-485 serialport(jumperless).
