- If the cable becomes damaged it may only be replaced
by an accredited professional.
• Clamp the work piece tightly.
- Use clamps or a vice to fasten the work piece; this is
safer than holding by hand and you then have both
hands free to do the work.
• Make sure of a safe posture.
- Do not work in an unnatural posture and ensure stable
balance.
• Maintain the appliance carefully.
- Keep the appliance clean to work better and more
safely.
- Avoid damage due to flammable materials in your work
piece.
- Follow the maintenance instructions and the advice
concerning changing the accessories.
- Regularly check the cable and plug, and if damaged
have it replaced by an accredited professional.
- Regularly check the extension lead and replace if
damaged. Keep the handle dry and free of oil and
grease.

- The heat can arrive in the vicinity of the heat gun and
on components or parts of the work piece that are not
directly visible. Remember this.
- Never point the appliance at persons or animals.
- Never place the nozzle too close to the object to be
heated. Restricting the air flow can damage the heat
gun.
- Do not keep the appliance aimed at one point for too
long.
- Do not use the appliance as a hairdryer.
