WARNING
The Jeep Wrangler is rated as a Class I tow vehicle.
See owner’s manual. The kit bumper is equipped with
a 2” receiver for vehicle recovery purposes. The kit
bumper is NOT rated for towing.
Install kit
1. Stock bumper
a. Remove bolts securing stock bumper to bottom
of frame. If equipped with tow hooks, remove
additional bolts and tow hooks.

Before starting installation
NOTE
Kit parts are prefaced by the word kit and appear in
bold print.
Kit # 87026: Factory Tire Carrier Spacer (TJ)
recomended if using a larger tire or OEM wheel & tire
on stock tire carrier. This will help give extra clearence
between the tire and the OR-Fab bumper.
1. Carefully read all warnings and instructions
completely before beginning.
2. Verify all parts have been received in this kit by
checking the parts list at the end of this document.
3. Only install this kit on the vehicle for which it is
specified. If anytime during the installation you
encounter something different from what is outlined

2. Kit bumper
Accessories
a. Install kit bumper onto frame with 2 OEM bolts
at the bottom outer frame rail holes.
OEM Bolt
b. 1997-06 TJ: In the remaining holes, secure kit
bumper to frame crossplate with six kit bolts (7/
16”” x 1”), kit washers (7/16” USS), and kit nuts
(7/16” serrated flange).
