FEATURES CP 600 is a digit watch for general outdoor sport timing featuring an electronic compass that for easy positioning. It equips with daily alarm that signals the designated time. The watch is provided with stopwatch and timer for specific timing. An electroluminescent panel that even illuminates the LCD for easy viewing in dark.
- 16 positions electronic compass, together with digital direction indication in degree with 5 degree interval.
- Normal Time mode with Hour, Minute, Second, Month, Date and Weekday.
- User option for 12Hr/24Hr display format.
- Daily alarm with hour and minute.
- 1/100 second resolution Chronograph (1st Hour) with 24 hours working range.
- Chronograph with “split” function.
- 1 second re solution Count Down Ti mer with 60 minutes working range.
- User key option for Count Down Stop or Count Down Repeat mode.
- HiGlo back light with 3 seconds delay.

TIMER
ELECTRONIC COMPASS After activate the Compass function, the Current direction is shown.
CALIBRATION Calibration allows user to align the watch magnetic sensor with the earth’s magnetic field so that the watch can detect correct direction.
WHEN TO CALIBRATE THE ELECTRONIC COMPASS
- The Compass watch is brand new.
- The indicated direction is incorrect.
- The watch is changed a new battery.
- The word “CAL” is displayed.
- The word “ERR” is displayed.

Automatically calibration
- When the watch is changed a new battery. Manually calibration
- Select a place without nearby the strong electric or magnetic field.
- Press S3 to Normal Time mode.
- Press S4 to activate the Compass function. The current direction and a compass symbol are shown.

- Press & hold S2 key for 2-3 seconds in compass mode until the word “CAL” is displayed.
- Holding the watch on horizontal level or on top of the wooden table.
- Slowly turn the watch with 3 clockwise rotations.
- Press S2 key again to stop the calibration.
- If “ERR” is displayed, repeat the calibration steps. Cautious: The Compass watch is very sensitive to magnetic and electric fields. Please put the watch away from any magnetic or electric device.
HOW TO USE ELECTRONIC COMPASS
- Press S3 to Normal Time mode.
- Press S4 to activate the Compass function. The current direction is shown.
- Press S4 for continue sampling.
- Press S3 to return back to Normal Time mode. If there is no key operation for 30 seconds, the watch will return back to Normal Time mode automatically. Cautious: The Compass watch is very sensitive to magnetic and electric fields. The direction will be affected by nearby magnet or electric devices.
NORMAL TIME Normal Time mode presents hour, minute, second, month, date and weekday. For 12Hr display format, “A” or “P” flag will be displayed.

SETTING NORMAL TIME
- Press S3 to Normal Time mode.
- Press & hold S2 to enter the Normal Time Setting mode, then the “SECOND” digits start flashing.
- Press key S1 to reset the “SECOND” digits to “00”. When the seconds digits count between 30 to 59 and key S1 is pressed, the seconds are reset to 00 and one minute is added.
- Press S2 to select next digits for setting. The setting sequence is shown as follow:

- Press S1 to forward setting digits.
- Press S3 to exit the setting mode and return to normal.
ALARM TIME MODE Alarm Time mode presents Alarm hour and Alarm minute. The alarm sounds at the alarm time everyday if the alarm mark is armed. Press any key while alarm sound is active to stop the alarm sound without activate other function. “Beep-Beep” sound is generated every hour if the Chime mark is armed.

SETTING ALARM TIME
- Press S3 to Alarm Time mode.
- Press S2 to enter setting mode, then Hour digit start flashing.
- Press S1 to forward setting digit
- Press S2 to select Minute digit.
- The setting sequence is shown as follow:

- The Alarm Mark is armed automatically if the alarm is being adjusted. Press S3 to exit the setting mode and return back to Al arm T ime mode.
ARM OR DISARM ALARM AND CHIME
- Press S3 to Alarm Time mode.
- Press S1 to arm or disarm the alarm mark and chime mark in sequence as shown as follow:

3 CHRONOGRAPH MODE The Chronograph counts up in 1/100 second resolution with working range of 24 hours.

- Press S3 to Chr onograph mode.
- Press S1 for start/stop operation. “RUN ” is shown for counting, and “STP” is shown for st op counting.
- Press S2 (twice if necessary in stop mode) to reset the chronograph to zero.
- Press S2 to view the split time when the Chronograph is counting. “SPL” is shown, and the colon is flashing. Press S2 to release split time and retur n to running chronograph.
- Press S1 to stop Chronograph running then press S2 to reset Chronograph to zero.
TIMER MODE Timer mode presents the preset time at the upper row and the current count down time at the lower row. “CS”- Count Down Stop. “Cr”- Count Down Repeat. The working range of the timer is 60 minutes and the resolution is 1 second.
- Press S3 to Ti mer mode.
- Press S1 for start/stop operation.

- Press S1 for start/stop operation.
- Press S2 while the timer is in stop mode for setting timer. The setting digits start flashing.
- Press S1 to forward the setting digit.
- Press S3 to exit.
SELECT TIMER
- Press S2 twice to select timer when the Timer is in stop mode. “CS”/ “Cr” start flashing.
- Press S1 to toggle “CS” or “Cr”.
- Press S3 to exit.
HiGlo BACK LIGHT
- Press S1 for HiGlo back light with 3 se conds auto light up.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- Open the bottom case.
- Replace two SR936W cells.
