Oreck Corp. warrants that all new vacuums are free
from defects in material and workmanship under
normal, non-commercial use and service. Oreck will
remedy any such defects if they appear within
one (1) year from date of purchase. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights, and you may have
other rights which vary state to state.

Your ORECK Zip Vac Ultra is a product of precise
engineering. If you require additional information or
have problems with your Oreck product, you may

Save your sales or purchase slip. Should your
Oreck product require warranty service in the
U.S.A., present this slip to the Authorized Service
Center as your proof of purchase date or, in
Canada, call customer service.
Before Initial Use
• Mount wall holder to wall.
• Wrap excess cord around the wall holder.
• Plug charger into wall socket.
• Place rechargeable vac onto holder. The pilot light
comes on to indicate that the unit is charging.
IMPORTANT
• Before first use, charge the vacuum for at least
12 hours.
• The voltage on the contact strips of the holder is
low (max 6 volts) and thus not dangerous.

Read and follow instructions.

Use only for intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use other than manufacuturer’s
recommended attachments.

If appliance is not working properly, has been
dropped, damaged, exposed to weather or
dropped in water, return it to a service center
for examination and repair. Do not disassemble
the cleaner, it is not user serviceable.

Do not use a damaged cord. Replace
immediately.
•
Do not operate with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, lint, hair, and the like.
•
Do not put any object into openings.
•
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and the like
away from any openings and moving parts.
•
Do not pick up cigarettes, hot ashes, matches,
or similar materials.
•
Do not pick up flammable or combustible
liquids such as gasoline, or use in areas where
they may be present.
•
Do not operate without filter bag and dust cup
in place.
•
Close supervision is necessary when used by or
near children. Do not allow to be used as a toy.
•
Store in a safe place.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Leave the charger plug in the wall socket and
always place the vacuum cleaner back in the holder
immediately after use.
Using the Light
The light can be switched on and off, independently
of the vacuum, using the switch located on top in
front of the ON/OFF switch.
Using Attachments
To use the attachments (i.e. the crevice tool and
brush tool), simply push the required tool into the
nozzle as shown.
The crevice tool is stored on the back bottom of the
vacuum. To remove tool, simply slide out of slot.
Replace tool when finished to prevent loss.
Cleaning
To remove the dust container, press down on the
release button and gently tilt the dust container
forward as shown.
Remove the filter from the dust container and clean.
Empty, wash and dry the inside of the dust container.
Make sure the dust container is dry and replace the
filter before reusing.
Replace dust container by attaching bottom of
container with vacuum and raising up to lock in place.
Bulb Replacement
To replace the light, simply push the bulb in and
twist counter-clockwise to remove bulb. Insert new
bulb, push and twist clockwise to replace.
NOTE: Make sure you use the same type of
bulb when replacing the old bulb (6V).
