Read and follow instructions
Use only for intended use as described in this manual. Do not use other than manufacuturer’s recommended attachments.
Do not operate with damaged cord, or cigarette lighter adaptor. If appliance is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, exposed to weather or dropped in water, return it to a service center for examination and repair. Do not disassemble the cleaner, it is not user serviceable.
Do not use a damaged cord. Replace immediately.
Do not abuse the cord. Do not carry the vac by its cord or pull on the cord.
Do not use an extension cord. Plug directly into cigarette lighter.
Do not operate with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and the like.
Do not put any object into openings.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and the like away from any openings and moving parts.
Do not pick up cigarettes, hot ashes, matches, or similar materials.
Do not pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
Do not operate without filter bag and dust cup in place.
Close supervision is necessary when used by or near children. Do not allow to be used as a toy.
Do not operate the Oreck Auto 12V when the vehicle’s engine is running.
Store in a safe place.

Operating Instructions
Remove cigarette lighter from storage receptacle. Insert the adaptor into the cigarette lighter socket.
NOTE: Ensure adapter is fully inserted into the
lighter socket.
Push the power switch foward to operate vacuum.
Using the Light
The light can be switched on and off, using the switch located on top in front of the ON/OFF switch.
Using Attachments
To use the attachments (i.e. the crevice tool and brush tool), simply push the required tool into the nozzle as shown.
The crevice tool is stored on the back bottom of the vacuum. To remove tool, simply slide out of slot. Replace tool when finished to prevent loss.
Cord Storage
To store the cord and plug, fold cord and tie with the cord strap attached to cord. Place cord plug into the plug storage compartment.
Cleaning
To remove the dust container, press down on the release button and gently tilt the dust container forward as shown.
Remove the filter from the dust container and clean.
Empty, wash and dry the inside of the dust container. Make sure the dust container is dry and replace the filter before reusing.
Replace dust container by attaching bottom of container with vacuum and raising up to lock in place.
Bulb Replacement
To replace the light, simply push the bulb in and twist counter-clockwise to remove bulb. Insert new bulb push and twist clockwise to replace.
NOTE: Make sure you use the same type of
bulb when replacing the old bulb (12V).
