INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Oracle Audio P 1000. St ereo Power Amplifier. Please read
carefully the instructions before using the P 1000. This unit is manufactured under strict
quality control and must be used properly for safety and optimal performance.
The Oracle Audio P 1000 is a power amplifier with 200W of output in STEREO mode.
Not only does it have outstanding musical performance, but it also has a capacity enough
to drive most of the high-end speakers in the market.
When converted into a bridged mode, it perfectly runs as a monaural amplifier with an
output power of 600W per unit.
The P 1000 power amplifier has four power transistors per channel. To ensure top musical
performance and longer life of operation, special circuits are applied which is unique for
the P 1000. Remote power switching is available by 12V trigger signal through connection
with a preamplifier or a surround processor.

CAUTION
y The P 1000 voltage is preset according to the country used. If you move after
purchasing the P 1000, please contact Oracle Audio Technologies to modify your
voltage wiring for proper use.
y To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not put the P 1000 in water,
humidity or near a heat source. Do not remove the top cover, since they are no
serviceable parts.
y It is extremely stable but it is strongly recommended to avoid putting other
equipments on top of the upper case to prevent unexpected failure of the power
due to a heat problem.
y Do not open the cover without prior authorization from the manufacturer or a
certified Oracle Audio dealer. Unauthorized repair can void the manufacturer’s
warranty.

Open the box and carefully remove the protective foam from your unit.
Remove the plastic bag.

FEATURES
The Oracle Audio P 1000 is specially designed to guarantee the full fidelity of high-end
sound reproduction for a lifetime usage.

y P 1000 supports both unbalanced input and balanced input. Switching a selector
switch can change input mode.
y P 1000 has a 12V trigger input operated by an RCA terminal, making it
connectable with another product such as preamplifiers & surround processor that
support the 12V trigger output.

CONNECTION

y Connection to the preamplifier should be made with unbalanced interconnect
cable or balanced interconnect cable.
y Check if the Stereo & Bridged switch on the back panel is in position ‘STEREO’.
y When using an unbalanced cable, make sure that the input selection switch for
both left & right parts should be in position ‘UNBALANCED.’
y Change the selection switch to 'BALANCED’ when using a balanced cable.
y When using a 12V trigger, connect one end of the ordinary RCA type cable to
the output terminal of the 12V trigger of the preamplifier or surround processor,
while the other end should be connected to the trigger terminal of the P 1000.
y After every connection is completed, turn the main power on.
The indicator on the front panel will change to green showing that the product

is ready for normal operation.
BRIDGED MODE

y The P 1000 can be operated as a monaural amplifier.
y As an input terminal, only the ‘LEFT’ input is operational.
y Check if ‘BRIDGED’ switch is selected for the bridged monaural application.
y As directed, only ‘(+)’ speaker terminals are used in connection of the speaker
for the mono application.
y After every connection is completed, turn the preamplifier on first. Then turn the
Oracle Audio P 1000 on.
