1 INSTRUKCJE BEZPIECZEŃSTWA
• Bindownica HERCULES została zaprojektowana do bindowania papieru i folii
plastikowych. Używaj urządzenia tylko do tego celu i nie próbuj stosować żadnych
innych materiałów. Stosując się do tej instrukcji zapewnisz długi żywot swojemu
urządzeniu i zabezpieczysz go przed uszkodzeniami mechanicznymi.
• Umieść urządzenie na stabilnej i bezpiecznej powierzchni.
• Podczas bindowania upewnij się, że Twoje palce nie dostaną się do kanału
bindującego.
• Opróżniaj regularnie pojemnik na ścinki.
2 ZALECENIA PRODUCENTA
• Noże tnące w bindownicy HERCULES zostały naoliwione w celu ochrony przed korozją
oraz w celu zapewnienia łatwego rozruchu.
• Przed pierwszym użyciem zaleca się kilkakrotne przeprowadzenie operacji
na odpadkach w celu usunięcia resztek oleju.
• Przetestuj dziurkowanie na skrawku papieru zanim użyjesz swoich dokumentów.
3 PRZYGOTOWANIE URZĄDZENIA
• Nałóż dźwignię z prawej strony urządzenia pionowo na trzpień i przymocuj śrubą.
• Postaw urządzenie na stabilnej powierzchni.
Przesuń dźwignię dziurkowania w górę do oporu.
4 WYBIERANIE ŚREDNICY GRZBIETU
Wybierz odpowiednią średnicę grzbietu posługując się podaną niżej tabelą,
do oprawianej ilości kartek dobierasz odpowiednią średnicę grzbietu, np. 145 kartek
można oprawić grzbietem o średnicy 16 mm.

5 DZIURKOWANIE
• Ustawianie ogranicznika papieru
Ustaw ogranicznik papieru w taki sposób, aby krawędzie Twojego dokumentu
nie zostały przedziurkowane.
• Wyłączanie noży
7 noży dziurkujących może być odłączonych indywidualnie, co zabezpiecza przed
przedziurkowaniem krawędzi w przypadku niestandardowych formatów. Naciśnij
odpowiedni dla każdego noża przełącznik (przełącznik w górze - nóż odłączony,
przełącznik w dole - nóż włączony).
• Ustawianie głębokości dziurkowania
Ustaw przełącznik znajdujący się z lewej strony urządzenia na wymaganą głębokość
dziurkowania. Właściwa głębokość dziurkowania ułatwia przewracanie kartek
w dokumencie.

• Wyrównywanie i wkładanie dokumentów
Wyrównaj krawędź dokumentu tak, aby wszystkie kartki były w jednej linii,
a następnie włóż dokument odpowiednim brzegiem do kanału dziurkującego
(maksymalnie 20 kartek papieru o gramaturze 70 g/m2 lub dwa arkusze folii
o grubości 0,2 mm).

• Dziurkowanie
Naciśnij prawą dźwignię w dół, a następnie przesuń dźwignię dziurkowania w górę
i wyjmij przedziurkowany dokument.
6 BINDOWANIE PRZY UŻYCIU GRZBIETÓW PLASTIKOWYCH
• Wkładanie i otwieranie grzbietu
Nałóż plastikowy grzbiet na metalowy grzebień tak, aby otwarcie grzbietu było
skierowane ku górze. Przesuń lewą dźwignię powoli w górę. Włóż przygotowany,
przedziurkowany plik kartek pionowo w otwarty grzbiet (stroną tytułową zwróconą
do siebie) i stopniowo nachylaj do przodu, aż do oparcia o podstawę.
• Zamknięcie grzbietu plastikowego
Wróć dźwignią w położenie początkowe i wyjmij oprawiony plik.

1 HEALTH & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• HERCULES was designed for binding paper and plastic foil. Use the machine only
according to its destination and do not try to bind any other material. Follow the
operation manual to ensure long utilisation of your machine and protect it against
any damage.
• The machine should be installed on a sturdy and level surface.
• Do not put your fingers into the paper insert slot when binding the documents.
• Clean up the waste bin frequently.
2 RECOMMENDATIONS
• Knives in HERCULES were oiled to protect it against corrosion and ensure smooth
operation of the machine.
• Before putting the machine into operation for the first time, punch few sheets
of paper to remove oil leftovers.
• Test punching with a piece of paper before binding ocial documents.
3 HANDLE INSTALLATION
• Put the punching handle on the right side of the machine and screw it down.
4 MACHINE PREPARATION
• Place the machine on a sturdy surface.
• Ensure that the handle is pushed down.
5 CHOOSING THE COMB SIZE
Choose proper comb size using the table below. Adjust comb size to the quantity of
binding paper sheets, e.g. use 16mm comb to bind 145 sheets of paper.

6 PUNCHING
• Adjusting paper format slider
Move the slider to the proper position according to the paper format of your
document. Note that the sheet edges should not be punched.
• Releasing selectable knives
The machine is equipped with 7 selectable knives, which can be released separately
to prevent punching edges in non-standard paper formats. Pull suitable breaker
switch to release knife (switch pulled out – the knife is turn o, switch pulled
in – the knife is turn on).
• Adjusting paper margin Turn the knob placed on the right side of the item to
choose proper paper margin. Opening document after binding is easier when paper
margin is correctly adjusted.

• Insterting the documents
Put the pages in order and even the edges. Insert the document into the paper slot
(max 20 sheets of 70-80 g/m² paper or 8 sheets of 0,12 mm foil at once). It is
recommended to punch less quantity of paper sheets when using machine more
intensively.

• Punching
Press the right handle down to punch the document. Take out punched sheets.
7 BINDING
• Opening the plastic comb
Place plastic comb into the binding mechanism facing upwards the side to be
opened. Pull the handle down slowly. Insert punched document into the open
comb.
• Closing the plastic comb
Push forward the handle to close the comb and take out the documents.
