1 HEALTH & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Before operating the equipment please read the Health & Safety precautions,
manufacturer recommendations and the operating manual.
• The equipment must be operated according to general Health & Safety rules.
• The operating manual should be easily available at any time for the operator.
• The equipment: should be installed on a sturdy level surface near a mains socket.
• = should be protected against dust and moisture.
• = must not be placed near the heating or ventilation units.
• = must not be used in vicinity of inflammable liquids or gases.
• = power cable should be protected against damage and not
be used to move the equipment or pull the plug from the
socket.
• = must be kept away and out of the reach of children.
• = must not be used for any other purposes than those indi
cated in the instruction manual.
• = must not be located outside and operated in room tempera-
ture lower 8 °C.
• Danger! The equipment contains rotary elements. Ensure long hair, loose jewellery's, ties and other loose clothing are keep away they can be get entangled in the rolls.
• It is necessary to check and supervise if the equipment is operated correctly.
• In case of any malfunctions, you must contact the dealer or service team.
• Before removing any covers from the equipment, remove the power plug from
a mains socket.
• Using inappropriate lubricants causes a fire hazard.
• Any repairs must be carry out only by authorized sta during the guarantee period.
• Do not leave the equipment unattended while in operation.
• After operating turn o the equipment by power switch on the unit after the
cooling down procedure. then remove the power plug from a socket.
2 MANUFACTURER’S RECOMMENDATIONS
• Use only recommended supplies and accessories.
• Do not put documents thicker than 1 mm into the laminator.
• Remove the power plug from the socket before moving the equipment or when not in
uses for long periods.
• If the equipment is switched on and is not operated for longer period of time, it can be
overheated.
• To avoid bad quality lamination put 2 or 3 sheet of A4 paper through in order to cool the
rollers down.
• Always insert the laminating pouch with the close end first.

• Putting the open end first can cause bubbling and the film to be stuck or rapped round
the rollers inside.
• Should a document be stuck inside the laminator use reverse function (REV) switch.
• Tailor cut pouch can make the rollers sticky, dirty and wind round them, use a carrier.
• Remove all metal elements (staples & paper clips, etc.) before laminating the document.
• WARNING! The equipment contains heater elements, be aware high temperatures!
• NOTE! Not compliance with the rules and recommendations above can void the Guarantee/Warranty.

4 OPERATION
1. Install the pouch support tray by inserting it into
the 3 slots on the housing. - see the digram
opposite.
2. Connect the device to the power supply. The
device bleeps once, the power touch button
(5) goes red.
3. Turn on the device with the touch button (5).
The control panel lights up, the touch button will
turn green.
4. After switching on, the device is ready for operation.
5. Use the pouch side guides (3) to set the appropriate pouch format.
6. Place the pouch and document on the tray (2) and slide it into the laminating
slot (1). The pouch should always be put in the middle of the slot. The device
does not require additional settings. The thickness of the material is recognized
automatically.
7. After laminating, remove the document from the exit slot (4).
8. If the device will not be used for 60 minutes it will turn o automatically.
Pouch blockage.
If the pouch is blocked in the slot, the equipment will automatically reject the
document. There is a possibility of manual withdrawal of the inserted document
by pressing the (REV) reverse button (6) on the control panel. The withdrawal of
the document is signaled by a double beep.
5 MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
• Before cleaning, disconnect the device from the mains. Wipe the device with
a damp cloth moistened with a domestic detergent, DO NOT USE ANY POTROLEUM
BASED PRODUCTS.
• If the corners have not been properly laminated, use a thinner paper or leave
more space around the edges of approx. 5 mm.
• If the foil has been drawn into the rollers or the laminator does not work properly, contact an authorized service center.
