The search for the ideal editor for the home movie maker has finally produced the OPTOMAX
Editor - the result of an intensive research and development program.

The head of this new, dual format editor-viewer is the exclusively designed, reversible plug-in
capsule which incorporates in one compad unit the projection lens, prisms, focusing mechanism
and filmsprockets. To alternate between regular 8mm and Super 8 operation, simply reverse
the capsule when inserting it into the socket.

The fresnel screen measures 57;;"x 4"...a full 21 square inches of brilliant viewing area, razor
sharp from edge to edge. The screen is fitted at an angle with the special color-corrected glass
shield to eliminate annoying glare. The glass shield is easily detachable for cleaning.

The smooth-operating, nylon gear system has a ratio of 1: 3.5 for rapid rewinding. Other fea-
tures are: vertical and horizontal framing adjustments, on-offswitch, frame marker and a rapid,
slip-in film loading system.

Tough, lightweight ABS and high impad plastics are used for the housing, with an aluminum
die-cast front panel to diffuse heat radiation Irom the projedion lamp. The foldable reel arms
are also made of sturdy die-cast aluminum.

The new OPTOMAX Edilor has been fundionally designed and precision engineered through-
out to ensure smooth, trouble-Iree operation.
