q Use only high quality, and safety approved AC/DC power adapter. q Disconnect the power plug from AC outlet if the product is not
used for a long period of time.

q Do not touch the LCD panel surface with sharp or hard objects. q Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes or solvents fo
cleaning.
q Do not operate the product under the following conditions:
- Extremely hot, cold or humid environment.
- Areas susceptible to excessive dust and dirt.

About the Product
This is 15” flat panel screen with an active matrix, thin-film transistor (TFT), liquid crystal display (LCD). The monitor features include the following:

Connecting the Display (Figure 7.1)
To setup this display, please refer to the following figure and procedures.
1. Ensure all equipment is switched off.
2. Connect one end of the power adapter to the power connector; plug one end of the AC power cord into the power adapter, and then the other end into an electrical outlet (Œ).
3. Connect the VGA signal cable to the 15-pin connector of your host computer and tighten the screws ().
4. Connect the Audio-In cable from audio input port of your display to the Audio-out port of your computer (Ž).
5. Connect the USB signal cable to the USB connector of your host computer ().
6. Connect your headphone to the Headphone port().
7. Turn on your computer and display.
Notice: To ensure the LCD display will work well with your computer,
please configure the display mode of your graphic card t less than or equal to 1024 x 768 resolution and make sure timing of the display mode is compatible with the LCD display. We have listed the “Compatibility Modes” of this LCD display in appendices for your reference.

Use the OSD Menus
1. Press the “M” button to display the OSD Menus. Press the “S” button to move between the OSD Menus. Press “M” to enter the function to be adjusted and then press “S” to move between setting options.
2. Adjust the value of the option by pressing “-” and “+”. Press “S” to confirm your choice.
3. To exit the OSD Menus, move to Exit and press “M”.

On-Screen Display Menus
First OSD Menu:
4 Auto-Adjustment
Chooses this function to obtain an optimum image.
4 Contrast
This function allows you to adjust the image crispness. Contrast adjusts the difference between white and black shades.
4 Horizontal Position
Changes the horizontal position of the image.
4 Vertical Position
Changes the vertical position of the image.
4 Frequency
Changes the display data frequency to match the frequency of your graphic card. When you are experiencing vertical flickering bar, use this function to make an adjustment.
4 Tracking
Synchronizes the signal timing of the display to that of the graphic card. When you are experiencing unstable to flickering image, use this function to make an adjustment.

Second OSD Menu:
4 Display Mode
The display mode shows the display resolution, horizontal scan frequency, vertical refresh of the current mode.
4 OSD Off-Time
Adjusts the time period for OSD menu disappear.
4 Language
You are able to select the language of all menu items.
4 Text-Graphic
Toggles between VGA text mode (mode M03H) and graphic mode (mode M13H).
4 Reset
Returns the display parameters of the current mode to its factory default settings.

4 Volume
It allows you to control the volume sound.
4 Mute
It allows you to disable the sound immediately.

Fourth OSD Menu:
4 Color
Adjusts the color temperature.
4 Color Adjustment-Red
It allows you to adjust the red color of the display.
4 Color Adjustment-Green
It allows you to adjust the green color of the display.
4 Color Adjustment-Blue
It allows you to adjust the blue color of the display.

Appendix
Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing trouble with the LCD display, refer to the follows. If the problem persists, please contact your local dealer or our service center.
Problem: No image appears on screen.
Check that all the I/O and power connectors are correctly and

well connected as described in the “ Installation ” section. Make sure the pins of the connectors are not crooked or broken.

Problem: Partial image or incorrectly displayed the image.
Check to see if the resolution of your computer is higher than that
4
of the LCD display. Reconfigure the resolution of your computer to make it less than
4
or equal to 1024 x 768
Problem: Image has vertical flickering line bars.
Use “ Frequency ” to make an adjustment.

Check and reconfigure the display mode of the vertical refresh
4
rate of your graphic card to make it compatible with the LCD display.
Problem: Image is unstable and flickering
Use “ Tracking ” to make an adjustment.

Problem: Image is scrolling
Check and make sure the VGA signal cable (or adapter) is well connected.
4
Check and reconfigure the display mode of the vertical refresh rate of your
4
graphic card to make it compatible with the LCD display.
Problem: Vague image (characters and graphics)
Use “ Frequency ” to make an adjustment. If this problem still exists, use
4
“Tracking” to make an adjustment.
Problem: Pen does not have the response or the response is not good.
Check if the battery is working.
4
Check and make sure the USB signal cable (or adapter) is well connected.
4
Replug the USB signal cable.
4
Problem: Pen-Input water leakage
Redetects the frequency of Pen:
4
(1) Open "Control Panel" of the system and double click "USB Tablet" icon.
(2) Select the item of "buttons" and disable "Auto Setting". (3) Click "adjust" button,when the pen tip pressure is detected completly, click
"OK" button. (4) Enable to "Auto Setting", Click "OK" button.
(5) Replug the USB signal cable.

Warning Signal
Sometimes you probably will see the warning messages from this LCD screen.
This means that the LCD display cannot exactly receive the signal from the com­puter graphic ca rd.
Th ere are three kind of situations may happen.Please check with the connected cables or contact your local dealer for more information.
4No Signal
This message means that the LCD display has been powered on but it cannot receive any signal from the computer graphic card. Check all the power switches, power cables, and VGA signal cable.
4Going to Sleep
This message means that the LCD display is under the power saving mode. In addition, the LCD display will go to this sleeping mode when experiencing a sudden signal disconnecting p roblem.

4Unsupport Mode
This message means that the signal of the computer graphic card is not compatible with the LCD display. When the signal is not included in the compatibility mode we have listed in the Appendices of this manual, the LCD display will appear this message.

The driver are located on the enclosed CD-ROM for the these operating
systems: Windows Me/2000/98/XP , Mac 9.0/9.1/9.2.
Pen-Input Driver & Software Installation Process:
1. Before your start to install the tablet driver, please be sure the USB cable already connected to the PC and LCD display.
2. Insert “Application software” CD-ROM.
3. Select “USB Tablet Manager”.
4. Click “Next” button to make sure installing this driver
