computer connection: indicates that the receiver is connected to the USB port of a
computer.
Lower icon bar
battery status or charge: indicates remaining battery life. While charging, the “plug”
icon is displayed.
time: indicates the time based on UTC and the time difference from UTC defined by
the user.
GPS reception quality: the blue bars indicate the number of satellites being acquired,
the green bars indicate the number of satellites used for calculating position. Good
precision requires at least 4 green bars (4 satellites used to calculate position).
altitude: indicates altitude above sea level.
compass heading:
o under 10 km/h and receiver horizontal. Indicates the heading pointed to by the
antenna.
o over 10 km/h. Indicates the heading you are going in.
o under 10 km/h and receiver not horizontal.
Central area
your position:
o fixed: your position is accurate.
o fixed: your position unknown, insufficient GPS reception.
o alternately flashing: your position is known but without much
precision.
your trajectory: this is constantly being saved. It is possible to change its
characteristics (color, thickness, distance between points, save frequency, etc. see page
38).
reference point position: depending on the operating mode, the reference can be in
the middle, top, or bottom of the screen. For example, for all search methods, it floats
in order to expand the search area. It is possible to deactivate reference point floating
(see page 37
).
active map entities: all points, lines, and polygons from the active map are displayed.
It is possible to deactivate displaying their name (see page 38
).
circles of uncertainty: they outline the probable location area of each transmitter.
transmitter position:
o fixed: means the transmitter position is accurate.
o fixed: transmitter position unknown, insufficient GPS reception.
o flashing alternately: transmitter position known but not very accurate.
o flashing: alarms from the transmitter (see page 32
).
transmitter name: each transmitter has a name that you can set. By default, this name
is “sn” followed by the last 5 digits of the transmitter’s serial number.
