OPENEYE REMOTE OVERVIEW
OpenEye Remote for Mac allows live monitoring, PTZ control, and
playback of video from Professional Grade and OE3 E-Series
OpenEye recorders.
Minimum Requirements
• Mac computer with an Intel processor
• Snow Leopard 10.6 or greater
• 1 GB of memory (RAM)
• Internet connection 512K or greater
Supported OpenEye Recorde rs
• Professional Grade recorders
Server software version 4.50.0903 or greater
• Commercial Grade recorders
OE3-E240 firmware version 1.0.1.62
OE3-E480 firmware version 1.0.0.15

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Downloading the Software
OpenEye Remote for Mac is available at the Mac App Store. If the
Mac App store is not already installed on your Mac it is available
as a free software update for Mac computers running OS X v10.6
or later.
From the Mac App Store
1. From the Go menu, click Applications.
2. Select App Store from the Applications list.
3. Search for OpenEye.
4. Click OpenEye Remote.
5. Click Free, and then click Install App.
6. When prompted, enter administrator credentials, and then
click Install Software.
7. If prompted, sign in using your Apple ID.
8. Once the installation completes, close the App Store, and
launch OpenEye Remote.
