32
The exposure is the amount of light received by the image sensor and is determ in ed
by how wide you open the lens diaphragm (iris adjustment), how long you keep the
sensor exposed (shutter speed), and other exposure parameters. With this item,
users can define how the Auto Exposure (AE) function works.
•Exposure Compensation – The exposure value ranges from – 10.5 dB ~
10.5 dB. Select OFF to disable the function.
•Auto – In this mode, the shutter, iris, and AGC control functions work
automatically to compensate for the light exposure on the image sensor for
consistent video output.
•Shutter – With this option, the priority of the Shutter is higher than the
priorities of the Iris and AGC. The Iris and AGC circuit will function
automatically, cooperating with the Shutter to get consistent exposure. The
range of shutter speed is 1/10000 ~ 1/50.
•Iris – With this option, the priority of the Iris is higher than the Shutter and
AGC. The Shutter and AGC circuit will function automatically, cooperating
with the Iris to get consistent exposure. The Iris value is fix ed at f1.6.
