manual carefully. It contains all necessary information for the correct and safe use of our products.
All our products for boats are designed and built to give many
years of trouble-free use, on condition that the applicable technical standards for correct installation are followed, that the instructions provided in this manual are respected, and that all recommended checks and maintenance operations are carried out.

GUARANTEE
OPACMARE S.p.A. guarantees that the product has been tested
and checked at its factory. The guarantee for the product and its
accessories is valid for 12 months from the delivery date (unless
other contractually agreed conditions apply), for the private buyer
the guarantee is valid for 24 months.
The guarantee covers the free repair or replacement of components that careful inspection by the manufacturer’s technical division shows to be defective in conditions of normal use.
The guarantee is limited exclusively to defects in materials, and
will not valid if defective components have been tampered with or
dismantled by unauthorised persons. Repairs covered by guarantee will be carried out solely at OPACMARE or at dealers or authorised workshops.
The following are excluded from the guarantee:
ã Cost of replacement of lubricants and transport, board and
lodging expenses at current OPACMARE prices for repair
operations carried out at the place of installation or directly on
board the boat, and any customs duties for products shipped
to foreign countries.
ã Taxes (VAT) and any other costs not specifically referred to in
the supply contract shall always be borne by the buyer.
ã Replacement or repair of guaranteed components will not
extend the overall guarantee period.
The buyer will qualify for cover under this guarantee only if the
conditions of guarantee indicated in the supply contract have
been fully respected. If the parties to the supply contract do not
intend to resort to arbitration, any controversies regarding the
contract or any other matter shall be referred to an ordinary civil
court, and the competent civil court shall be that of Turin, Italy.
The guarantee will be invalidated in the following cases:
On delivery of the product it must be checked for possible damage during transport. Any claims must be notified within 8 days of
delivery.
The buyer will qualify for cover under this guarantee only if the
conditions of guarantee indicated in the supply contract have
been fully respected.
The guarantee will also be invalidated:
ã All parts subject to normal wear
ã Any kind of the tampering with the product whatsoever.
ã If the product is improperly used by the user, in a way other
than that indicated in this instruction manual.
ã If damage is caused to the product by inadequate
maintenance.
ã If the product is used for purposes other than those indicated
in this instruction manual.
ã If damage caused to the product is attributable to the
conditions in which it is operated or to reasons beyond normal
operation conditions, for instance irregularities in power
supply voltage or current, or exposure of electronic
components to damp.
NOTE:
The manufacturer declines all liability for damage, defects or malfunctions caused by improper installation of the product, carried
out without due consideration to standard installation practice and
to the instructions given in this manual.
After the expire of the guarantee time, we suggest to do each
year before the new summer season a complete check up of
our product by a customer care service point authorised by
Opacmare.
GARANZIA
La OPACMARE S.p.A. garantisce che il prodotto è stato fabbricato con materiali di prima qualità ed è stato collaudato e verificato
presso la propria fabbrica. La garanzia del prodotto e dei suoi
accessori ha una durata di mesi 12 dalla data di consegna per i
cantieri (per particolari opzioni resta comunque valido quanto stabilito in sede contrattuale); mentre per i privati la garanzia si
estende a 24 mesi. Tale garanzia si esplica nella riparazione o sostituzione gratuita di quelle parti che, dopo un attento esame eseguito dal Servizio Tecnico del Costruttore sono risultate difettose
in condizioni d’impiego normale. La garanzia è limitata ai soli difetti di materiali e cessa di avere effetto qualora le parti lese del
prodotto risultino manomesse o comunque smontate da personale non autorizzato allo scopo. Gli interventi in garanzia si effettuano esclusivamente presso la OPACMARE o i concessionari e le
officine autorizzate.
Sono escluse dalla garanzia:
ã Le spese relative alla sostituzione dei lubrificanti, le spese di
trasporto, vitto e alloggio in base alle tariffe in vigore della
OPACMARE per interventi eseguiti presso la sede
dell’utilizzatore o direttamente sull’imbarcazione, gli eventuali
tributi doganali per i prodotti spediti all’estero.
ã Le imposte (IVA) e quant’altro non scritto nel contratto di
fornitura sono in ogni caso a carico dell’acquirente.
ã Le sostituzioni o le riparazioni dei materiali in garanzia non
prolungano in ogni caso i termini della garanzia stessa.
L’acquirente potrà far valere i suoi diritti sulla garanzia solo se avrà
rispettato le condizioni concernenti le prestazioni della garanzia,
riportate nel contratto di fornitura. Qualora risultasse che le parti
non intendono sottoporre a giudizio arbitrale le controversie
nascenti dal contratto di fornitura o in ogni altro caso in cui sia
richiesta la pronuncia da parte di un organo del Foro ordinario,
sarà territorialmente competente solo il Foro di Torino – Italia.
Quando decade la garanzia:
Alla consegna del prodotto verificare che lo stesso non abbia
subito danni durante il trasporto.
Eventuali reclami dovranno essere presentati entro e non oltre 8
giorni dalla consegna. L’acquirente potrà far valere i suoi diritti
sulla garanzia solo se sono state rispettate le condizioni concernenti le prestazioni di garanzia, riportate nel contratto di fornitura.
Inoltre la garanzia decade:
ã Per tutti i componenti soggetti a normale usura
ã Per qualunque tipo di manomissione del prodotto
ã Per un utilizzo errato o diverso del prodotto (modalità non
conformi alle norme riportate nel presente manuale)
ã Nel momento in cui il danno al prodotto sia imputabile ad
insufficiente manutenzione.
ã Nel momento in cui il danno al prodotto sia imputabile alle
condizioni ambientali in cui essa opera o da fenomeni non
dipendenti dal normale funzionamento, come ad esempio
irregolarità dei valori di tensione o della corrente di
alimentazione, esposizione all’umidità della parte elettronica.
ã Nel momento in cui, in seguito ad interventi di riparazione
eseguiti dall’utilizzatore senza il consenso della OPACMARE o
a causa del montaggio di pezzi di ricambio non originali, il
prodotto abbia subito cambiamenti ed il danno sia causato da
tali cambiamenti.
ã Nel momento in cui non siano rispettate le istruzioni descritte
nel presente manuale.
NOTA:
Il costruttore non si ritiene responsabile per eventuali danni, difetti o anomalie dovute ad una installazione errata del prodotto, eseguita senza tenere conto della regola d’arte, e delle raccomandazioni riportate nel manuale.
Dopo la fine del periodo di garanzia, si consiglia di far fare
ogni anno prima dell’inizio della stagione estiva, un controllo
completo del nostro prodotto presso un centro assistenza
autorizzato Opacmare.

and works on electrical and hydraulic systems must be carried out
by specialised and technically trained persons.

THE PRODUCT MUST BE USED ONLY BY COMPETENT PERSONS. MINORS OF 16 YEAR AND PERSONS WHO ARE NOT
AWARE OF THE DANGERS IMPLICIT IN THE CARELESS USE OF
THE PRODUCT MUST NOT BE ALLOWE TO USE IT.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD PERSONS BE LIFTED OR
LOWERED WITH THE CRANE.
ALWAYS CARRY YOUNG CHILDREN WHEN THE CRANE IS IN
MOVING.
NEVER PLAY OR HANGE WITH THE LIFTING CABLE.
BEFORE LIFTING A TENDER OR JET SKI CHECK THAT THE BOAT
BILGES ARE EMPTY. OTHERWISE THE TOTAL LOAD MAY
INCREASE IN AN UNPREDICTABLE MANNER.
THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED LOAD INDICATED ON THE IDENTIFICATION PLATE FITTED TO THE JIB AND IN THE INSTRUCTION
MANUAL MUST NEVER BE EXCEEDED.

IL GANCIO UTILIZZATO PER IL SOLLEVAMENTO DEVE ESSERE DI
ACCIAIO PROVVISTO DI CHIUSURA ALL’IMBOCCO, IN MODO DA
IMPEDIRE LO SGANCIAMENTO DELLE FUNI; DEVE INOLTRE
RECARE INCISO L’INDICAZIONE SULLA PORTATA MASSIMA
AMMESSA CHE NON DEVE ESSERE INFERIORE A QUELLA DEL
BRACCIO DI SOLLEVAMENTO DELLA GRUETTA.
LA MANOVRA DEL CARICO DEVE ESSER EFFETTUATA SEMPRE
SOTTO STRETTO CONTROLLO VISIVO, PERCIO’ L’AREA
DELLE OPERAZIONI DEVE ESSERE SEMPRE ACCURATAMENTE
ILLUMINATA.
E’ CONSIGLIATO IL MONTAGGIO DI SEZIONATORE GENERALE A
CHIAVE, PER TOGLIERE ALIMENTAZIONE ALLA GRUETTA IN
CONDIZIONI DI SICUREZZA.
WHEN THE SEA IS NOT CALM AND BOTH THE BOAT AND THE
LOAD BEING LIFTED MAY SWAY, SUDDEN STRAINS MAY IMPAIR
THE STABILITY OF THE BOAT. THE PRODUCT MUST THEREFORE NOT BE USED IN THESE CONDITIONS. IF IT IS ABSOLUTELY
NECESSARY TO USE THE PRODUCT, THIS MUST BE DONE
WITH GREAT CARE, SYNCHRONIZIONG MOVEMENTS OF THE
PRODUCT WITH MOVEMENTS OF THE BOAT, WAVES AND THE
SUSPENDED MAY BE CAUSED.
DURING LIFTING OPERATIONS IT IS FORBIDDEN TO ENTER THE
MANOEUVRING AREA OF THE SUSPENDED LOAD.
THE LIFTING HOOK MUST BE MADE FRON STEEL AND EQUIPPED WITH A SAFETY CLOSURE, TO PREVENT THE ACCIDENTAL
RELEASE OF LIFTING CABLES. IT MUST ALSO BE MARKED
WITH THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED LOAD, WHICH MUST NOT BE
LESS THAN THAT OF THE CRANE JIB.
THE LOAD MUST BE MANOEUVRED UNDER CONSTANT VISUAL
CONTROL. THE OPERATING AREA MUST THEREFORE BE CORRECTLY ILLUMINATED AT ALL TIMES.
IT IS ADVISABLE TO FIT A LOCKABLE MAIN SWICH WITH KEY,
SO THAT POWER CAN BE CUT OFF FROM THE PRODUCT IN
TOTAL SAFETY.
1) PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
The lifting cranes are rotable, with an extending jib section. They
are compact, with modern and attractive styling.
The structure is in AISI 316 stainless steel.
The lifting cranes are normally used for raising and launching
tenders, jet skis, etc …, with a maximum load from 250 to 500 kg,
depending on the model and conditions of use (see technical specifications).
The lifting devices described in this manual have been designed solely for the raising and launching of tenders and jet
skis, within the limits of capacity permitted by the technical
characteristics.
ANY OTHER KIND OF USE MUST BE CONSIDERED TO BE
IMPROPER, WND IS THEREFORE PROHIBITED.
1) INFORMAZIONI PRELIMINARI
Le gruette di sollevamento sono di tipo girevole con settore tele-
scopico; sono compatte e con design moderno e accattivante.
La struttura è realizzata in acciaio inox AISI 316 .
Le gruette di sollevamento, vengono comunemente impiegate

alaggio e di varo di tender o di jet ski, nei limiti di portata e
capacità consentiti dalle caratteristiche tecniche.

Preliminary remarks:
a) The crane and all its components are factory tested for correct
operation with a predetermined number of test cycles. The
following requisites are necessary for the correct installation of
your OPACMARE S.p.A. crane.
b) When the crane is delivered, immediately open the packing
and check that it contains all the components listed in packing
list, and that the items received correspond to the order made.
c) If the crane and its components are stored, they must be
protected against damage, damp and dust. No complaints for
faults that may be due to failure to take suitable precautions
can be accepted.
d) The structure of the stern area where the crane is to be
mounted should be strong and solid enough to support the
loads that the crane and its use will exert.
e) The fixing system that secures the anchor plates to the boat
must be accessible for inspections. Any vibrations that might
be present at the stern can slacken fixing.
f) The hydraulic unit must be installed in a place where it can be
securely fixed in
a suitable way:
n it must be protected against water infiltrations
n it must be in a place with sufficient ventilation for dispersal of
the heat produced under all conditions of operation
n it must be easily accessible for routine checks and topping up
the fluid tank
n it must allow easy operation of the manual emergency pump
and manual movement of the solenoid valves
n it must be accessible for any repairs that might be needed.
g) The electrical panel supplied with the crane must be installed
in a position that protects it against water infiltrations and
damp:
n Its position must allow connection cables to enter it from
below
n It must be possible to fully open the door of the panel so that
the interior is easily accessible for checks and maintenance
n The optional power supply box with safety cut-off switch (also
containing main fuse) must be installed in a position that is
protected but accessible for inspections.
h) The power supply system must be of a suitable voltage and
capable of providing the current required. The circuitry of the
electrical panel provided includes a power circuit and a
command circuit (cable, switch and protection on the power
circuit are optional). However, the installer must provide
adequate electrical protection of the general power supply
system for the crane.
i) The hydraulic pipes must be routed so as to be accessible for
the inspection of both pipes and joints, and for any
replacement operations that may be necessary.
j) If the fitting-out of the yacht has still to be completed when the
crane is installed, adequate precautions to prevent any of its
components from being damaged must be taken. No
complaints for faults that may be due to failure to
take suitable precautions can be accepted.
i) Il percorso dei tubi dell’olio deve consentire il controllo
dell’integrità dei raccordi e dei tubi stessi, e la loro eventuale
sostituzione.
j) Durante il periodo di completamento dell’allestimento della
barca, a gruetta già installata, devono essere prese adeguate
precauzioni per evitare che la gruetta o i suoi componenti
accessori siano danneggiati. Non si accettano reclami la cui
causa sia riconducibile al mancato rispetto di questa
prescrizione.
Raccomandazioni:
a) La gruetta con i suoi componenti accessori, è collaudata in
fabbrica sottoponendola ad un ciclo prestabilito di prove, al
fine di verificarne il corretto funzionamento. Per una corretta
installazione della gruetta l’OPACMARE richiede in particolare
il rispetto dei requisiti elencati di seguito.
b) Verificare subito dopo la consegna, all’apertura
dell’imballaggio di spedizione, che la confezione contenga tutti
i componenti e che il materiale spedito sia conforme a quanto
ordinato.
c) Durante l’eventuale immagazzinamento, la gruetta e tutti i suoi
componenti accessori devono essere protetti da
danneggiamenti, umidità, infiltrazioni e polveri. Non si
accettano reclami la cui causa sia riconducibile al mancato
rispetto di questa prescrizione.
d) La struttura della zona destinata ad accogliere la gruetta deve
essere sufficientemente robusta ed irrigidita per sopportare i
carichi conseguenti all’installazione della gruetta ed al suo
impiego.
e) Il sistema di fissaggio delle piastre di collegamento alla barca
deve essere ispezionabile. E’ necessario tener conto della
possibile presenza di vibrazioni in grado di causare nel tempo
un allentamento dei collegamenti.
f) La centralina oleodinamica deve essere posizionata a bordo in
modo da garantire un adeguato e robusto fissaggio:
n deve risultare protetta da infiltrazioni
n deve trovarsi in ambiente sufficientemente areato per smaltire
il calore prodotto dal funzionamento in ogni condizione
n deve essere facilmente raggiungibile per i normali controlli ed
il rabbocco di olio
n deve consentire l’azionamento agevole della pompa a mano di
emergenza e la manovra manuale delle elettrovalvole
n deve consentire l’accesso per le eventuali riparazioni
g) Il quadro elettrico fornito a corredo della gruetta deve trovarsi
in posizione protetta da infiltrazioni ed umidità:
n deve esser posizionato in modo che il cablaggio di
collegamento penetri nella scatola dal lato inferiore
n deve esser possibile l’apertura completa del portello del
quadro, in modo che l’accesso all’interno per controlli e
manutenzione risulti agevole
n la cassetta di alimentazione opzionale, con il sezionatore
(contenente anche il fusibile principale) deve essere installato
in posizione protetta ma accessibile per i controlli

CAVI INDIPENDENTI DAL CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE DELLA
CENTRALINA IDRAULICA
h) La gruetta deve ricevere una alimentazione adeguata, per
tensione e corrente erogabile. La circuitazione elettrica del
quadro fornito a corredo comprende un circuito di potenza ed
un circuito di comando, ciascuno dotato di protezione
elettrica adeguata (il circuito e la protezione di potenza sono
optional). Chi provvede all’installazione deve comunque
prevedere una adeguata protezione elettrica della linea di
alimentazione generale della gruetta.

When you decide where install the crane, you must be careful to
the movements that the crane can do.
Make the fixing holes utilising the plate of the crane like drilling jig.
Fixing the crane through screws that are suitable with the model
that you are choosing.
ã Montaggio
Stabilire la zona dell’imbarcazione idonea per l’installazione degli
organi della gruetta.
Posizionare la gruetta nella zona desiderata, prestando particolare
attenzione ai movimenti che la gruetta dovrà compiere. Praticare i
fori di fissaggio utilizzando la piastra della gruetta come maschera
di foratura. Fissare la gruetta mediante viteria idonea al modello
scelto.
