3 CENTRAL CASTER LOCKING
An operating pedal for the caster functions is located both at head end and foot end of the bed.
Caution: never use excessive force when operating caster functions. If operating the pedals requires too much force, contact our technical service department.
TRANSPORT MODE
The pedals of the caster locking functions point outward as shown on the picture. In this mode, three casters can both roll and swivel freely while the fourth caster (marked by a yellow ring) can roll freely but is direction locked. The directional lock of the caster can produce an audible click sound. Using the transport mode makes it much easier to move the bed over longer distances.
MANOEUVRE MODE
The pedals of the caster locking functions point upward. All casters can both roll and swivel freely. Using manoeuvre mode, the bed can be moved in all directions.
LOCK MODE
The pedals of the caster locking functions point inward as shown on the picture. Lock mode blocks both swivelling and rolling of all four casters, so the bed can’t be moved in any direction. Always put the bed in lock mode when it isn’t being moved.
