1. Play/pause (1/;) button: Used for play operations in the Music app, etc. Press and hold to call up the Google Assistant. (P4)
2. BLUETOOTH ( ) button: Used for pairing and connecting with BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled devices. Refer to "BLUETOOTH for pairing and connection instructions.
3. Microphone mute ( ) button: Turn on or off microphone mute. The LED indicators light as follows each time microphone mute is turned on or off.
Also press and hold the microphone mute button for 10 seconds to initialize the settings of this unit. (P3)
0 Google Assistant will not respond when you call it while
microphone mute is on.
4. Microphone: Used when talking to Google Assistant.
5. Volume (i/j) buttons: Allows you to adjust the volume. You can adjust the volume between 0 and 50. When you press the volume buttons, the LED indicators light according to the volume level for 3 seconds as follows. When the volume is "0", the indicator stays orange.
0 The brightness of the white LEDs let you check the volume
at each single level. The LEDs become brighter when you increase the volume and get dimmer as you reduce the volume.
6. LED indicators: The status of this unit is indicated by the colors and illumination status of the LEDs.

Power Cord Hookup
This unit includes a removable power cord. Connect the power cord to AC IN of the unit and then connect to the outlet. Always disconnect the outlet side first when disconnecting the power cord.
Download the Google Home app
Use the Google Home app to setup the unit and operate it. Download the Google Home app from Google Play or the App Store to your smartphone or tablet.

It takes about 20 seconds to initialize. The LED indicators turn off when initializing is finished, and the settings return to the default settings.
The smartphone or tablet needs to be connected to the same network as this unit to setup and operate the unit. Check network connection beforehand.
Initial Setup
Perform the following procedure when the unit is on.
1. Start the Google Home app.
When you tap "ACCEPT" for the terms of service and privacy policy, the network connection between this unit and the smartphone is initiated. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial settings.
2. You can select a tutorial which lets you practice using the Google Assistant once initial settings are complete. Refer to "Meet your Google Assistant" (P4) for information on the Google Assistant.
Initialize
Initialize the settings of the unit to return the settings to the status at the time of purchase. Press and hold the microphone mute button for 10 seconds to initialize the unit. The LED indicators flash as follows when initializing is

Meet your Google Assistant
You can call up the Google Assistant by saying "OK Google" at the unit, or by pressing and holding the play/pause button. The LED indicators flash white when the Google Assistant has started and ready to receive questions.
Talk to the unit while the LED indicators are flashing white. The LED indicators light as follows when a question is recognized.
The question is answered after a while. The LED indicators flash white while the answer is being given.
0 The LED indicators light orange when microphone mute is
on, and there will be no response from the Google Assistant even if you call it.

Pairing
Pairing is necessary when connecting the BLUETOOTH enabled devices for the first time. Perform the following procedure when the unit is on.
1. Press and hold the BLUETOOTH button on this unit for 3 seconds.
The LED indicators flash as follows when pairing is started.
2. Enable (turn on) the BLUETOOTH function of the BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled device, then select this unit from amongst the devices displayed. This unit is displayed as "VC-GX30XXXX".

technology, the sound produced on this unit may slightly be behind the sound played on the BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled device.
3. The LED indicator on the right lights blue when pairing is finished.
Pairing has failed if the LED indicator on the right does not light. Retry from step 1.

connection is not always guaranteed with all BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled devices.
Playing Back
Perform the following procedure when the unit is on.
1. Perform the connection procedure on the BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled device.
0 You can also press the BLUETOOTH button on this unit
to connect the BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled device that was last connected. Note that this may not work with some BLUETOOTH wireless technology enabled devices.

1. Touche lecture/pause (1/;) : Utilisée pour les commandes de lecture dans Music App, etc. Appuyez quelques instants pour appeler l'Assistant Google. (P4)
2. Touche BLUETOOTH ( ) : Utilisée pour l'appairage et la connexion aux périphériques compatibles avec la technologie sans fil BLUETOOTH. Consultez "Lecture BLUETOOTH l'appairage et la connexion.
3. Touche coupure du microphone ( ) : Activation ou désactivation de la coupure du microphone. Les témoins LED s'allument de la façon suivante chaque fois que la coupure du microphone est activée ou désactivée.
Il est également possible d'appuyer sur la touche de coupure du microphone pendant 10 secondes pour initialiser les paramètres de cet appareil. (P3)

4. Microphone : Utilisé pour parler à l'Assistant Google.
5. Touches du volume (i/j) : Vous permet d'ajuster le volume. Vous pouvez régler le volume entre 0 et 50. Lorsque vous appuyez sur les touches du volume, les témoins LED s'allument en fonction du niveau du volume pendant 3 secondes de la manière suivante. Lorsque le volume et sur "0", le témoin reste orange.
