Battery Performance
The handset may become warm during charging, this is normal

Installing and charging the handset batteries
On each handset:
Remove the battery COlp<tmen :over f necessary.
Insert 2 x AAA rechargeable batteries supplied. Make sure
you fit the batteries with the+and - as shown inside the
battery compartment. Slide the battery cover securely back
into place.
2 To charge the batteries, place the handset(s) on the base or
on a charger. The charging light illuminates. The battery
symbol in the handset display begins scrolling.
You must charge each handset for at least 14 hours
before use.
WARNING
Under no circumstances should non-rechargeable batteries be
used. Only use the approved batteries or you will invalidate
your guarantee and may damage the telephone.
Connecting the telephone line cord
Connect the telephone line cord into the socket marked
- on the back of the base. Plug the other end into the
telephone wall socket.
Only use the telephone line cord supplied or your phone may not
work correctly.
BATTERYLOW WARNING
If the 0 symbol is displayed on the handset, and you hear the
low battery tone during a call, you will need to recharge your
handset before you can use it.
Belt clip
Each handset comes with a handy built-in belt clip which
you can use to carry the handset around with you.
Press on the area shown, then hook the belt clip onto your
belt, waistband or pocket.
Setting up is now complete. The answering
machine is on, ready to record messages and
you can make and receive calls on your Magma
phone from One.Tel.
